It left me feeling frustrated and honestly very hesitant to trust anyone again. Then I met Marcy at Color Clinic. From the very first conversation, she took the time to truly understand my situation. She walked me through the entire removal process using saline, explaining the healing stages and setting realistic expectations. She shared that some people need two sessions, others three and in my case, it took two. Throughout that entire process, she was patient, incredibly precise, and fully in tune with her work. I never once felt rushed. She gave me her full attention every single visit. Once the removal was complete, she started fresh. A clean slate. She carefully mapped and drew my brows first so I could clearly see the shape, size, and color before anything was done. That level of care and collaboration meant everything. We then moved into the first session, followed by my touch up 8 to 10 weeks later. What truly stands out is her consistency. Even during my touch up, she remained just as meticulous, methodical, and detail oriented. She does not cut corners. She does not rush. She treats your face like a piece of art. Her customer service is honestly some of the best I have ever experienced and I do not say that lightly. I am very particular, very detail driven, and not the easiest person to please. But Marcy exceeded every expectation. She showed me photos of her work beforehand, but I can confidently say the pictures do not do her justice. What she created for me is beyond anything I imagined. She corrected poor work, rebuilt my brows from scratch, and gave me exactly what I wanted. Marcie actually trains other people for a company and has been doing this for quite a while. One of her fav procedures tho is colouring aureolas for survivors or if you just want a change. She also does eyeliner tattooing, tat removal etc. Marcie maps out your face, similar to what a plastic surgeon would do. She spends a lot of time, measuring and then drawing in the brows before starting the microblading. She can adjust them if you want them a little flatter or more arched or thicker etc, but she knows her stuff and little adjustment is needed. I felt confident knowing what the finished product would look like before she started blading. I just finished the second of my 2 part microblading sessions. My hair is white as are my brows, so I decided to micro-blade. I usually just tint my brows, but I have less hair now to tint. The micro-blade results are fantastic, and I am leaving my brows white, the result is a salt 'n pepper effect. The procedure was pretty much painless, it feels like a pin scratching your skin, and Marcie uses a topical anesthesia on your brows. The healing process was trouble-free just keep the new brows moisturized with a cream that Marcie supplies.

I got my mucosal liner done here for top and bottom and it cost $800. I thought it was quite expensive but at least I know why. She's the only health board certified permanent makeup artist in Canada and that costs a lot to get!! At first I didn't think it was enough but when it came time for my touch up (4-6 weeks later) I thought it was good. When you first get it done it is very vibrant and dark. After it starts to peel and scab off it becomes much lighter and the true color doesn't come out until about a month later because that hazy dry dead skin is covering the pigment. She gets you to lay down on a table (similar to when you get a facial done) and she does the first pass with the tattoo needle without any numbing cream. This is to allow the gel to to work. I felt everything though because I teared up so much the first time and I think it washed away the numbing gel. Some people say they don't feel anything but scratching but I felt everything and it's really painful. She is very quick and does take frequent breaks so you can take a look at the work she's done and ask her to tweak anything. Honestly less is more for permanent makeup. I don't want to look over done on a daily basis and when I do want more I just put on more eyeliner for special occassions anyway. I see so many of my friends with way too much makeup on for daily wear and I just think it takes away too much from their natural beauty. The work she did on me was good because I don't feel over done but yet I don't look like death. LOL! I have thin eyelashes and the little bit on the lash line and on the wetline really helps open my eyes up and make me look more awake. I would refer her to other people because she is good at what she does.
