I trust her implicitly, she is professional and attentive and does an amazing job every time. Seema does my updos and she is also phenomenal. I'm one of "those clients" that comes in with only a vague idea of what I want done. "Shorter", I'd tell Sora. She'd ask me how much, I'd shrug my shoulders. "Surprise me." Dozens of cuts and colours later, I've never been disappointed. I am always complimented on my hair and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend DBK to anyone that asks. From the moment I call to book, to the follow up calls and emails, friendly greeting when I walk in, fresh coffee or lemon water while I'm waiting, the *best* shampoos by Sora, and then the follow up the next morning. I got my hair done last night and I am just giddy at how cute it looks! Thank you Sora!

I got my hair done for prom at Warden Woods Hair Studio - TEENA WAS AMAZING…read more I asked for giant bombshell curls and wanted her to use my synthetic extensions that I had brought in. And those things were so hard to curl. But Teena did her best to make sure they were curled beautifully and that they blended in with my real hair. She gave me EXACTLY what I pictured in my head for my prom hair. She took the time to listen to what I wanted, made sure I was okay with everything every step of the way, touched everything up before I left... plus, she was really nice and easy to talk to. Loveeeed her.

Since COVID hit in March, I haven't had any professional hair maintenance. So I was scared. But I must confess - this is coming from someone who hates getting my hair cut even in the best of times- this place was great. My hair was shorn to the agreed length. The products used were excellent quality. The cost was reasonable. I will be back here for sure!

It is very simple making appointments via their website and I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes for service. The salon is very clean and decorated with chic decor. Paired with the relaxing music they play and the fashion shows running on the TVs, it results in a very elegant and calming ambience. I am usually asked by the staff if I would like a drink or snack multiple times throughout my visits. Tina always asks what I want or what my hair concerns are and works around that. She is very friendly and a great conversationalist, but also knows when to let the conversation die down and doesn't force it to continue. You can tell by the way she works that she is very good at what she does and is very efficient. All in all, after struggling to find a salon I was fully satisfied with and can stay loyal to, I am very happy to have found Tony Shama's and plan to continue coming here. You definitely get what you pay for.

I had hair nearly down to my butt and Tony cut off over 6 inches when i only wanted 3. My hair is so choppy and uneven. Do NOT go here. They also charged me 200$ for a horrible hair cut. NEVER going back. Run far away from this place. It's unfortunate to write this because the staff and environment was so pleasant and took my jacket and provided me with coffee but none of that matters if i leave with a bad haircut that's going to take over a year or more to grow out. REFERENCE pic of before what my hair looked like before it was ruined by tony. NOTE that Tony told me he would not be taking off any length however continued to cut off nearly 6 inches of my hair without consent.

Making an appointment is highly recommended as they get quite busy. If you decide to do a walk in it will likely be the case that you get turned away unless there is a cancellation that day. Booking an appointment online is easy on their website where you can choose a date/time based on the stylist you want. I've been coming to this N15 for about a 1.5 years now. I've tried 2 stylists here but my current stylist, Seika (senior stylist) is great. She's been cutting my hair for over a year now and she pays attention to all the details. She makes recommendations for you if you ask and will try to make sure that she cuts your hair the way you want it. She's very polite and does a great job with styling and cutting hair! In terms of the salon environment, it's lively and bright with green/wood accents throughout. The hair washing stations are near the back. Although there are many stations it is rarely the case that you sit beside someone. Overall, a great place to get a haircut if you are around the Sheppard and Yonge area. Making an appointment is a must as they do get busy!
