My 2nd visit was 3rys later, I wanted a tatt on my left forearm, I was referred by the reception that randy was the right choice. I had a consultation with the artist randy who didn't have much experience. I've had an appointment that was rescheduled for another day. The day I got my tatt I paid the reception they told me due to their inconvenience of them having to reschedule my appointment. I received a discount that was cool, hours later when it was time for aftercare. I've had unwrapped my bandage checked my tatt in the mirror the artist missed a line at the top. The end of the script wasn't aligned, the rest of tatt was all messed up. While I was at the shop it looked good. I was furious of the results. It didn't make any sense whatsoever I've seen a customer that ended up with excellent tatt. Mine is a failure. The artist randy no longer works there, they have a high turnover of tattoo artists. I'm never going back to way cool tattoo, they've lost my business. Their prices are reasonable but the artist sucks!!! I highly don't recommend tattoo shop.

Initially, I had just gone for a piercing (done by Tom) and he was extremely thorough in regards to the procedure as well as aftercare but when I needed help putting the jewelry back in, I was charged $5 which I thought was kinda weird because I know of NO place that charges just to put put jewelry in. When getting my tattoo done I had some of the other artists ask me the reasoning behind my tattoo and upon trying to explain, they ended up laughing and ridiculing what I wanted; I thought it was so incredibly rude and just unprofessional overall. Apart from that, I was told that if I ever needed a touch up, I could come back and that it'd be free. So I called to make an appointment for a touch up and I was told (rather rudely) that Way Cool doesn't do free touch ups and I'd have to pay about $80. Apart from these incidents, they tend to bad mouth other tattoo shops; I get that when you're representing a business, you have to make it look good but my saying crappy things about other places, it's just unprofessional. Overall, Way Cool (from my experience) just seems like a place where they like to rip you off.

The front desk was attentive and friendly (Brett). Once I explained what I was looking for (script on forearm) they pointed me to a website to get an idea of font choice and booked me in for a consultation. When I came in for the consultation, I met with Hailey. We went over the process, what to expect, pre and post care and she discussed what I was looking for. Once she answered all of my questions, we booked the next appointment for the tattoo. When the day came to get my tattoo I showed up as scheduled and Hailey presented me with a few options to make sure I was happy with what I wanted. Once I finalized what I was going with she did a printout on transferable paper and positioned it on my arm. She had me look in the mirror, moving my arm in all different positions to make sure I was happy. She caught something that she wasn't happy with so we adjusted it. Then the tattoo was applied without any issues. Afterwards she covered it up, went through the after care again and sent me on my way. As I've never had one, didn't know what to expect, etc. Hailey was awesome! I really like the fact that she presented me with a few different ideas, her input on placement, etc. Not sure if that is standard, but because I was so happy with the first tattoo, I got a second a few weeks later through Hailey. A couple of days later, I received a response and was asked when I wanted to get it done. Since I was near Port Credit a few days later, I stopped by on a whim to check out the place. They were playing unfamiliar heavy metal tunes. Added the new music to my playlist ;) I was greeted by a lovely and personable young lady named Vivienne who conferred with me about my tattoo. Given that it's my first tattoo, I had many questions, which she happily answered and even suggested I consult with one of the artists on site. Lance was working on a client upon my entry but chatted with me about what I wanted and suggested a few ideas to keep my design simple and feminine. He recommended Marna as the artist, who met with me briefly and was preparing to tattoo me on the spot, however, I realised since I'm traveling soon, I would not be able to be outside in the sun for two weeks and had to postpone the appointment until my return. From first observations, the parlour was super clean, both the washroom and lounge coupled with their positive Google reviews and friendly demeanour, which compelled me to go ahead and book my tattoo. Today, I went in and got it done. The process was simple and straightforward. To my surprise, it didn't hurt much! The environment and staff were very welcoming and I felt at great ease.
