She's expressed working with her worker on listening to the customers needs and has been kind enough to personally do my brows in the future. I've always been keen on second chances so I'll check this place out again one day. Review prior to speaking to owner: I specifically asked the lady not to make my eyebrows super thin and she said OK. By the time she was done they were very thin and I made a remark that it was super thin and she said yes it looks better on you which made me very upset because I specifically asked her not to do that. It's not for her to decide unless I asked her to do what she felt was best. I even had a photo to go off of and told her to just clean the single hairs. I will not be back at this spot. They charge $17 just for eyebrow threading and she was very pushy to get other work done such as hair on my face or my upper chin, etc..

The whole service takes about 2-2.5 hours depending on your volume and set. She will first give you a consultation and go over expectations. She gives you honest advice, I have hooded eyes so I wasn't sure if I would look good with winged or flared out style sets. She gave me full volume and long lashes which I loved! Christine gets better and better each time. One time, I wasn't entirely satisfied with my extensions and I was honest with her. She immediately asked me when I can come back and offered to fix it for me at no cost. 2. Eyelash perm This was a surprise for me. I have long straight lashes that point straight down and are stubborn to curl. I told myself I'll never look good with perm because extensions make my eyes look so good already! I was wrong...the perm was gorgeous. It opened up my eyes and made it look more natural. Not to mention, no fake lashes falling overtime. It also takes 1 hour (including consultation time) Thank you Christine!!! I would definitely repeat this service again. Pro tip: shower before and do not shower for at least 24 hours so it can dry and set! It makes the lash perm last longer (this applies to the extensions too) 3. Wax Her service is priced fairly and she's professional. Great bedside manners and always making sure you feel comfortable. She also goes back with tweezers to get the stubborn ones out. She used soft wax.

I found Mai and basically got my eyebrows completely redone this fall. They're thicker now (but not TOO thick!) and the shape looks amazing. It's only been three months so it's hard to say how long it'll last for, but it all depends on your aftercare, skin condition, how often you sweat, etc anyway. I find that I need to get touched up every year since my skin is a little more oily and I sweat more. Importantly, Mai is super easy to talk to, really sweet, and takes COVID seriously.

The booking process was so easy because you can do it online. Her system sends you confirmation emails and reminder emails for your initial and touch up appointments! After both of your appointments, she also sends you aftercare instructions :) My also conveniently booked my touch up appointment right when I got into the studio - she is so on top of everything. BACKSTORY: Two years ago I had a different friend who just finished a class for microblading. I was the second person she had ever done the microblading process on, but honestly I was just glad that I finally had eyebrows. Fast forward to the day I found My... my brows were faded and uneven, and needed HELP. I was constantly checking her page to see when her books would open, and I ended up setting an alarm at work to take a break just so I could book my appointment! LOCATION: The location is a very neat and tidy office in San Jose which she shares with her sister who does scalp tattoos! There is even a private parking lot just for MicroHair Studios clients, which was really convenient. I didn't realize that at first and parked on the street, but that was just as easy because it is near a residential street. PRICE: Her info is on her website, the price includes the complimentary touch up, and it is more than worth it!!! Cash and Venmo are accepted. RESULTS: My brows have never looked better. She fixed the shape, lifted the tail ends, made them even, and got the color PERFECT. Need I say more? My previous tattoo just barely shows at the tail ends since they were brought down too far initially, but the shape that My perfected for me exceeds all my expectations so much so that I don't even care that the old tattoo shows a bit! The old tattoo will fade soon anyway, plus I can cover it up with concealer for the time being lol. OVERALL: My is one of the most wonderful, friendly, and talented girls I have met to this day. She was so warm and welcoming, and talking to her made me feel like I was talking to an old friend. Her customer service is absolutely incredible and you can tell she really enjoys and cares about what she does! P.S. Did you know she even microbladed her own beautiful brows? Now THAT is a microblading artist you can trust. Thank you so so SO much, My, for my beautiful new eyebrows.
