Stuffed (this was after dinner and gelato earlier in the night, after all) we paid and about to scoot when the waiter brought out four complimentary shots of limoncello (the official 'mascot' of this region, for sure!) and the laws and customs and mores being different here than back in America I'll just keep mum about my 15-year-olds reaction to their very first official "saluti!".
