Phenomenal food, service, and ambiance. I've been here once years ago and wanted to take my husband. It's Austrian food, which I had never had before visiting, and I fell in love with the spices, fermented foods, and spreads. We brought our parents back another night, and they raved about their food. They both had the catfish sandwich and loved it. My husband and I stuck more to the traditional fare and finished all of our food each night. Try the goulash, but you can't go wrong with anything. The pork was also tender and a fav from the bento box. Farm to table and made to order. Homemade desserts were also top-notch! If you're looking for something unique, definitely stop in for dinner. We view the lake and the lovely setting.

View is amazing. Food was so good I ate everything and finished it. Try the sausage sampler after going through some wineries. Best alcohol soaker. Catfish was tasty and fresh. My fiancé had the schnitzel and he said it was smooth as butter to cut. Service is amazing and most helpful. I had to order the sachet torte plus one to-go as it was the main draw for me to come. Come tonight coz they are not busy. Unheard of! Lovely view! Amazing view. Great people. What more can you ask for a lovely Friday night.

Always a must-visit when we go to finger lakes. Austrian style menu and of course great wine. Beautiful sunset views.

We walked in to find a woman (later finding out the owner) who just said, NAME? No greeting whatsoever. She walked around 2 minutes then told us, FOLLOW ME. Sat us and didn't say another word. Our waiter came over for a drink order after sitting for quite some time. Service was slow, waiter could not multitask. He would continually walk past our table without looking or asking if we needed another drink, etc. otherwise we enjoyed our very long meal, over 2 hours!

Coming from a home with an Austrian Mom, who is a great cook, it's difficult to hit the mark for me with this cuisine. Dano's certainly did!! After a day cruising Seneca Lake our party of 8 arrived for an early dinner on the patio. With 3 children in our party our server recommended family style for our group. What a revelation. She proceeded to bring all the apps on the menu, each of which were excellent! In particular the smoke trout was a hit even to those who weren't fish fans to start. After our apps, main dishes and sides were brought individually. The pacing and portion size were perfect to share and persons was able to hone in on their favorite! From Wiener schnitzel to homemade wurst, each and every bite was delicious! I'd highly recommend any large party enjoy Thule dinner this way. The meal was effectively billed ala carte, and an incredible value for a meal of this quality! Service was impeccable, setting beautiful and food amazing! What more could you ask!

Great menu if you want to try a bunch of different Viennese bites. Lots of veg friendly options. Come with friends who like to share. Everything was good, the views of the lake from the patio are even better. Friendly staff. Worth checking out if you've never been.

Beautiful view outside on the patio if it's nice weather

The woman who hosted us at her AirBnB used to work here and suggested we visit even though we otherwise planned to cook at 'home'. I'm glad we followed her recommendation. The view from the outside patio is amazing, but my husband wanted to eat inside due to the heat. We were the only patrons inside, and I think there was about three couples spaced out on the patio. Seating is very limited right now so reservations are an absolute must. The current routine is calling when you arrive and being brought in to sign a tracing form and use hand sanitizer. The menu is Viennese food, which has a lot of overlap with Bavarian food. My husband and one of my sons each had bratwurst. It comes with this great dijon mustard I'm pretty confident you can't find at the grocery store. My husband also had a burger, which had a very distinctive flavor (in a good way). I had baked chicken with a slight kick to it, seasoned mashed potatoes, and spaetzle, which I probably haven't had since I was a child. It was all great, but I devoured the spaetzle. My other more finicky son ate a bit before we came, and just had the bread basket. Fortunately it had a lot of sour dough for him. I'm otherwise not a fan of bread from that region. The other heavily seeded bread reminds me of German bread. It's authentic, just not our thing. Service was excellent. Prices were reasonable. It very much feels like fine dining without the fine dining price tag. Our drinks were great, too. My husband said it's the best Manhattan he ever had. I had something called a Caywood Cocktail that had limoncello, St. Germain's, elderflower syrup, and I think a splash of bubbly. It was very refreshing and perfect as a palette cleanser. We only dined out once during our trip, and I'm glad it was here.

After visiting one of my favorite wineries, Silver Thread, we were hungry and looking for something good to eat. Literally around the corner, Dano's came up so we decided to check it out. Nice building, large patio, beautiful views. Reservations suggested we arrived at 4 on Saturday and Patio was full as was the restaurant by the time we left. Not rushed at all we were able to enjoy our food and conversation leisurely. Opening the door we were greeted with the most amazing smells that brought me from hungry to starving. A la carte menu makes it easy to pick and choose. We decided to share a charcuterie plate and added the most amazing homemade focaccia I have ever eaten. There were two pate one beef with pickled onions and one made with chicken skin and carrots that were very good on the fresh made grain bread and baguette slices, smoked pork loin was tender and flavorful. Hungarian Chicken wings blew me away with flavor and tenderness. Dill pickle slices, cheese, mini spiced pickles, and an amazing Riesling mustard were wonderful accompaniments. The cured Belgian ale sausage was a treat. There are many options the bento box served nearby looked very good as did the Farmers Plate piled high and my pick for the next visit.

Came for dinner with my girlfriends. We are not super familiar with Austrian food but we enjoyed the meal. We shared three dips - lemon artichoke, red pepper and liptauer. All were yummy and the different breads were great. Two of my friends got the chicken schnitzel which they liked okay. I had the 1/4 chicken with cauliflower and mashed potatoes. It was good but the real star of the entrees we ordered was the stuffed green peppers. Great flavor. The ambiance was great and the staff was friendly. We wished it had been warmer so we could sit outside and enjoy the sunset views over the water. Maybe next time.

We ended up here randomly because our second option after Solera, Scale House Brewery, was closed for a private event. This place actually ended up being quite upscale, authentic Austrian cuisine. The kids had the currywurst sausages. I had the goulash with spaetzle, which was good, but the spaetzle was not seasoned, yet the goulash was too salty. So, they worked well together. Our friends got the chicken and they raved about it.

There's a friendly dog off leash who seems to be the house pet, but he definitely comes looking for food so be on the lookout. Service is friendly and helpful. We started out with some beer and ordered a pint of the two goats, red ale and a flight with the Seneca Lodge, peach blonde, war horse, and two of the red ales because they were out of the last one. Actually really enjoyed all of them. I normally go for darker beers, but the peach blonde was refreshing and would be perfect for summer. To start we ordered the spinach artichoke dip, which was OK but needed something crispy then pita. A toasted crostini was definitely called for. For entrées, we ordered two bistro burgers, which were both cooked nicely and complimented our beer nicely. Probably could've used a little more tomato jam, but we enjoyed our meal and the reasonable prices.

Everything was VERY good, but I'm not sure that it matches the immense hype. Maybe we didn't order the right things. I was only able to snap a photo of the squash which was actually my favorite part of the meal. I got the half chicken with beans and rice, and my partner got the flank steak. The chicken was quite salty but very good. The steak was cooked well and very flavorful, though the portion was small and there was nothing about it that particularly stood out. Again, a solid meal and a super cute atmosphere and we will always support restaurants which feature local/seasonal menus, but this one fell a bit flat.

Since we've been out all day we were really hungry so we decided to eat something before we performed.
