We just moved to the area and have already been to Danny's several times. The first visit we got Danny's wings, a Reuben, and a pizza. All were delicious! The wings are crispy and now my favorite wings. I was never a big wing-eater before, but these got me hooked! The Reuben was ample and delicious, just like a Reuben should be. The pizza was equally wonderful. Lots of gooey cheese and toppings that made every bite a yummy pleasure. Another visit we took some friends who were visiting and three of us got the Calzone. Three different calzones: veggie, meat lovers, and the Danny's speciality. Everyone LOVED their meal. The 4th person in our group got the chicken salad and some fries. She was equally pleased. We highly recommend this restaurant and plan to make it a regular stop! Delicious!! read more

In town on business but craving pizza. I didn't want to go to another chain and I found this spot. Service is a little slow but they make everything fresh so it's expected. Pizza was delicious. Crispy yet tender crust. Ingredients seem fresh. Would definitely recommend and will probably go back again before I leave. read more

Danny's is my favorite restaurant! Everything on the menu is awesome. Their Reuben is the best one I have ever eaten. No other Reuben I have had anywhere else comes close to Danny's! All the pizzas are awesome, the sauce is yummy and the crust is always perfect. ! The jalapeño peppers appetizer with homemade pepper sauce is great! The Shrimp Fettuccini Alfredo is delicious, all the pasta dishes are great. All the daily lunch soups are tasty. I love the French Onion soup, especially on cool days. Danny's has been the best pizza joint in Douglas for going on 30 years. The Food... The pizzas are great. One thing to be aware of, the crusts are thin. They also have some great salads, pasta dishes, and hot wings. The Atmosphere... Cozy, great decor. Kids will love the working model train suspended from the ceiling. The Service... Always quick, plenty of waitresses for the amount of patrons (seating for 75 or so). The Price... You can't go anywhere and get more bang for your buck than here, IMO. My wife and I have eaten here many times for $15, that's two drinks, two mini chef salads, and a small pizza. read more

Had a half Hawaiian with jalapeño and half hot wing pizza. Loved the Hawaiian half the hot wing half was not as good as I expected. The crust was good and I would highly recommend. This little restaurant is get for small gatherings. Not a very big dinning room. The chairs are all different and some are uncomfortable (the chairs with the black metal heart shape in the back of them). Food is good and hot when it arrives at the table. Mostly young girls are the wait staff and may not be well trained. Need to make sure they come around and check on the customer more than when they arrive and when their food is delivered to the table. Some customers need more than one refill on their drinks while waiting on their meal. Service tend to be a little slower during the lunch rush. There is one waitress that does really well, she constantly checks on her customers. With the building being so small the front entrance tends to stay packed with incoming customers and people waiting to check out and pick up orders. Might possibly look at remodeling one day to make more room. They do have a nice selection of food to choose from, salads, pizzas, sandwiches, and pastas. read more

Pretty bad. They offered the buffet and everything was cold, including the Alfredo pasta, which bordered on disgusting. I've had pasta better than this on a Chinese, all you can eat buffet. Pizza was less than fresh and way south of proper food service temps. The only reason this place gets a second star is because the pizza crust seemed like it might not have been terrible when it was made an hour or so ago. Very disappointing read more

Fresh out of the 50's! This place reminds me of "pizza joints" from the mid-fifty's, early sixties. The pizza reminded me of the store bought product of my college days.
