So glad I found this place . Found them on google , went right before closing on the weekend to get leotards and tutus for my daughters first ballet class . The pricing for the leotards are very reasonable , the tutus were about 8$ each and the ballet shoes were 20$. The 4 stars is because the store is very unorganized . Very few items are separated by size. I shifted through different boxes of leotards trying to find my daughters size . The things in boxes don't have price tags so you have to ask the price every time you find something . But you get what you pay for and i saved a lot of money by going to this place so I still recommend it.

1 day before Halloween and I was in desperate need of a royal blue tutu for my daughter cookie monster costume. I looked everywhere, unfortunately, the tutus were very expensive, of poor quality or all sold out. My boss recommended Dancers "Dannys" warehouse and all I can say is OMG!! From the wonderful customer service to great prices, Danny warehouse had it all. I found a royal blue tutu for $10!!!! I will most definitely keep this place in mind for future purchases and you should too!!!

Do they sell folklorico shoes?

I only have a few folklorico shoes but I do have character shoes which are almost the same style without the nails.

Do not get fitted for pointe shoes here. I'm an adult "beginner," and just got approved for pointe…read more I went in for my first ever pair 3 weeks ago. First, the girl tried to give me children's toe pads (from the borrow box, mind you) and the other girl came out and had to correct her. As a beginner I didn't know what to expect but I was so excited. I thought I found a pair and took them home. I should have waited to sew them but I was so excited. I took them to class the next week and my teacher was stunned that they sold a first- time pointe dancer R-Class shoes. She said those ones notoriously twist (and that beginners usually start with Bloch or Capezio), but hopefully they'd be ok enough for now. The next week I had finished sewing them and tried to wear them for class. My teacher had us do ONE exercise and immediately asked me to take them off, she was afraid I was going to hurt myself with how much they were twisting. She took a picture, I asked her to send it to me and I'll post it when I get it. I tried to go back to see if there was anything they could do. I didn't expect a full refund but at least something. The same girl that gave me the children's toe pads told me there was nothing they could do (pretty rudely, actually), but a different girl called a manager or owner (not sure). Btw there was another customer in there who also had an issue with their shoes, and the original girl looked at the new one and asked if she knew the answer to the other customer's question and the new girl was like,"uhh idk?!" So neither of them knew what they were doing apparently. Anyway, the new girl talked on the phone for a bit and then asked if she could see them on. Of course, so we all went to the fitting area and I put them on. They both looked at the shoes and tried pushing the twisted shank back in place (by now I had put them on enough to feel it, and since my teacher pointed it out too), but the original girl said they "weren't twisting too bad." She also said, "I remember you, they looked great when you bought them so for them to be all of a sudden twisting means you sewed them wrong" (even though my teacher helped me??). I also pointed out that the first fitting, both girls kept trying to push them into place but since I didn't know any better I trusted them. She then replied that it's standard practice to "check" for twisting by pushing them into place and again gaslit me about what happened that first day. This worker was snarky and rude the whole time, like she thought she was better than me (maybe because I'm an older beginner? Idk). That was her energy at least. I wish I had gotten her name. To be fair, they did eventually offer a discount on a new pair but by that time with the snark, obvious lack of knowledge, and gaslighting there is no way I'm getting fitted by them again. Steer clear for sure. Now I'm out $135 and have a pair of pointe shoes I'll never be able to wear.

So this was a big step to buy a new pair of pointe shoes again. The Red Shoes is a store I passed by often but unfortunately it was closed by the time I was around. Thankfully today I caught the shop open and I'm so glad I did!! Lilly was absolutely phenomenal. She made the process so much easier with her kindness, patience and knowledge. I cannot stress how knowledgeable, patient and kind she was. I didn't feel judged for being an adult coming in to get a pair of pointe shoes which was a great feeling! She took lots of time to work with me to find the perfect fit for each foot and even showed me all the new ways pointe has become a little more comfortable. From the ouch pouch to clear stretch tips! On top of her great customer service, the price of everything I left with today was extremely fair. Lilly went above and beyond and not only helped me but made me feel welcomed (which from what I remember as a kid, it wasn't always that way in many ballet spaces). I also want to mention her co-worked (unfortunately I didn't get the name) but she was also very sweet too! I highly recommend this store to any dancer, young or old, beginner or expert or someone getting back into a passion they once had. Thank you so much, Lilly! I'm so excited to get back on my toes again!
