    10 dresses and a fur coat I have purchased from Windsor

    I come to this store every 2-3 weeks, and I own at least 12 dresses from this store. I have had friendly experiences with the sales associates, but today I felt racially profiled. While I was trying on dresses, two Hispanic sales associates began talking about me back and forth on their walkie talkies, asking each other how many items I had in the dressing room. Then she knocked on the door and asked me how many items I have. I would understand if the sales associate simply asked me personally how many items I have. But in a store full of (White and Hispanic) customers, talking about me on the walkie talkies is humiliating & implies that you think I'm stealing. I was highly offended, and my shopping experience was ruined. I even considered putting my items back. In the end, I still purchased $100 worth of clothing, but I am hesitant to return. Maybe if the sales associates had been helpful enough to go & get the different sizes I needed for me, this situation wouldn't have happened. I'm a hard working woman, and I have never and would never steal. I encourage the sales associates to be fair, be respectful, and be empathetic. Attached is a photo of 10 dresses and a fur coat I have previously purchased from this store, just to be disrespected today.

    I am so amazed at the customer service at these stores! I had a movie premiere red carpet event and I was trying to find something in a hurry. Leslie at the Sherman Oaks store was extremely helpful and checked on me several times, and even helped me put on dresses in the dressing room. She tried to help me find the perfect dress. I ended up loving two of them, and was not able to decide which one I wanted! Unfortunately, one of them was too big and they didn't have that size. I bought one of the dresses and then, Leslie immediately went into action and called the Culver City store. She found the dress and had them hold it for me. When I got to the store in Culver City, Vanessa knew who I was, and had the dress waiting. It was amazing. When I showed her the shoes I wanted to wear, she told me that she had a better idea for me and picked out some other dresses that I might like. I couldn't believe it, she really knew her products and what would fit my frame. She showed me her first pick and then some other options. As I went through trying these on, she assisted with zipping/tying for me... her first choice became my first choice! She even tried to help me with finding people in my area to help me alter my dress since I am short and the dress was a bit too long. The dress stoled the show on the red carpet, so much, so I even ended up on the news! I can't thank these 2 amazing women enough for their time, kindness, dedication to their position, support, and laughing with me as we figured out what was best for me. It's women like these that personify what real customer service is. They truly are an asset to the company they work for

Unfortunately, an experience about two years ago completely changed how I feel about this store. During my last visit, I was racially profiled and followed throughout the store by two asset protection employees (one male and one female). I have no idea why I was singled out. Despite being treated that way, I still purchased around $600 worth of items that day. What made it even more upsetting was seeing one of them waiting near the front door as I was leaving, as if they expected me to do something wrong. I even waved and laughed in disbelief because it was so obvious. He stood at the door after following me, once the second person started following me, then left that post after I walked out with my purchased items. What's even more frustrating is that I saw someone else (same ethnicity as the security that were following me) in the store actually stealing items, but because they were so focused on watching me, they completely ignored her. I saw her walk right out the door after stuffing her pockets and purse with stolen items. Unbelievable! That experience was disappointing. I left the store wishing I hadn't spent a dime there. Since then, I've never returned to that location. I even tried shopping at the Nordstrom Rack on Fig at 7th downtown recently, and unfortunately experienced the same thing, being followed around the store. Because of these experiences, I've decided I will no longer shop at Nordstrom Rack or Nordstrom. No customer who is spending their hard-earned money should feel targeted or profiled while simply trying to shop. Prior to the incident where I was followed around the store, I had another frustrating experience at this location. On a previous visit, I purchased clothes and other items. When I walked out, the alarm at the door went off, but another customer was exiting at the same time so I assumed it was related to her purchase. I had two bags of clothes and other items, and didn't notice anything unusual when I quickly checked my bags. About a month later, when I went to wear one of the dresses, I discovered the security sensor was still attached. It was black and blended in with the dress, which is probably why I didn't notice it earlier. I then checked the other clothes and two more dresses that I hadn't worn yet and found that they also still had sensors attached, hidden on the slip of the dress. I returned to the store to have them removed, but initially the staff refused because I didn't have the receipt. Fortunately, I had used my Nordstrom credit card and they were able to look up the purchase and finally remove the sensors. This situation could have been avoided if the employee had properly checked the dresses (since they hide their sensors) before bagging them. These are higher-priced items that typically have sensors attached, so you would think staff would be trained to know where the sensors are placed. But I don't totally blame the staff because they were hidden. Why not make them visible? Why place a black sensor on a black dress? Customers shouldn't have to inspect their purchases for security tags after leaving the store. Goodbye, Nordstroms! It was fun while it lasted.

I was actually given really good service with regards to getting a room and getting the last pair of shoes. I even bought the last sweater which is super adorable for fall. I did come back and find really cool pieces that I loved before which were now on sale for 30%, and the Staff is really sweet and helpful. Previously, I gave the store 3 stars for not having the right change and having me wait over 15 minutes because my mom was waiting on me to have dinner, but I am letting that incident go. Yes I wished they carried more change, but I guess there are things we cannot control in life. This store has beyond cute stuff and for reasonable prices, so I will definitely come back to shop. One small incident is not enough to make me stop shopping. The staff is really helpful and nice. The clothes are just casual and reasonably priced in a great location, so I am just grateful that it is close enough to my work to be able to come here on lunch or after work.

Melloré has really cute clothes at really inexpensive prices! The girls were really attentive and started me a fitting room right away. I will definitely be coming back and will be recommending melloré to everyone!

This grand opening does include similar treats like a free UNIQLO tote, free goodies like chips and mochi, and a Taiko Drum performance. I did buy some more stuff because this store location did provide a nice deal on the cotton boxer briefs. You can tell that the black was popular and so there was only a few navy left, so I was able to grab a few. I think the store still needs to work out its kinks with the self register because it was still adding items to my cart that I clearly did not have. This has happened in the other UNIQLO stores too, so I think it's a bit too sensitive. Overall, I really like UNIQLO and welcome the addition to the mall!

(They left a sign that says they'd be back in 30 minutes.) & my other thought was that - at the price point of each single item from Reformation, I believe the business can afford at least two employees on site at a time. After about an entire hour, two girls showed up with leftover food in their hands. I was there, & I waited because I needed something specific to wear. & I don't mind waiting at all for an employee to come back from lunch. There were other women waiting outside as well. This case was unique. There were two employees, who took a break simultaneously because they'd rather the clients wait. & when they came back, they did not let customers in immediately. It was hot outside. Not terrible, but waiting an hour out there was not fun. One other customer was not as patient. She had exploded over the phone with maybe customer service (or her friend) regarding the same experience. I was confused when the employees entered without paying any mind to the people who had been waiting. Sure, it only took them a few more minutes to reopen the business. but what? Never mind the people who had been waiting. Bottom line is, I would never return to this store. It was a shit experience. Not everyone is here out of a desire for luxury, but this was pretty low on any customer service I had ever experienced. There was not a single considerate thought for the customers. I appreciate a brand like Reformation for its sustainability efforts & a price point that isn't too far out of reach for some people. And a brand of this magnitude simply cannot endorse this behavior.
