I was there shopping for a Christmas outfit on 12/14 around 5:30 pm The cashier Emely was very distracted she wrote down my address wrong after I actually wrote it down for her on a paper. I did not receive my package because the address was wrong. Now I am not sure if I'll get my money back. All the workers at the time I was there were very distracted talking amongst each other and did not provide the best customer service. I never had a bad experience at Windsor. I never wrote a review for a clothing store, but Vanessa, the manager went way above and beyond to help me out, and she deserves all the stars!! Ordered online for the first time and the sizes run small for me, so she was very quick in exchanging for a larger size. Annnnd, I had ordered a skirt, thinking it's a combo incl top. But the top apparently wasn't included, so she offered me to look at other stores and found one at another place, called that place and asked them to hold it for me. I come to this store every 2-3 weeks, and I own at least 12 dresses from this store. I have had friendly experiences with the sales associates, but today I felt racially profiled. While I was trying on dresses, two Hispanic sales associates began talking about me back and forth on their walkie talkies, asking each other how many items I had in the dressing room. Then she knocked on the door and asked me how many items I have. I would understand if the sales associate simply asked me personally how many items I have. But in a store full of (White and Hispanic) customers, talking about me on the walkie talkies is humiliating & implies that you think I'm stealing. I was highly offended, and my shopping experience was ruined. I even considered putting my items back. In the end, I still purchased $100 worth of clothing, but I am hesitant to return. Maybe if the sales associates had been helpful enough to go & get the different sizes I needed for me, this situation wouldn't have happened. I'm a hard working woman, and I have never and would never steal. I encourage the sales associates to be fair, be respectful, and be empathetic. I am so amazed at the customer service at these stores! I had a movie premiere red carpet event and I was trying to find something in a hurry. Leslie at the Sherman Oaks store was extremely helpful and checked on me several times, and even helped me put on dresses in the dressing room. She tried to help me find the perfect dress. I ended up loving two of them, and was not able to decide which one I wanted! Unfortunately, one of them was too big and they didn't have that size. I bought one of the dresses and then, Leslie immediately went into action and called the Culver City store. She found the dress and had them hold it for me. When I got to the store in Culver City, Vanessa knew who I was, and had the dress waiting. It was amazing. When I showed her the shoes I wanted to wear, she told me that she had a better idea for me and picked out some other dresses that I might like. I couldn't believe it, she really knew her products and what would fit my frame. She showed me her first pick and then some other options. As I went through trying these on, she assisted with zipping/tying for me... her first choice became my first choice! She even tried to help me with finding people in my area to help me alter my dress since I am short and the dress was a bit too long. The dress stoled the show on the red carpet, so much, so I even ended up on the news! I can't thank these 2 amazing women enough for their time, kindness, dedication to their position, support, and laughing with me as we figured out what was best for me. Today I went into Windsor with my two daughters. We weren't greeted upon entering the store. My oldest daughter was looking for a dress that she saw on a mannequin when we entered the store. I was with my youngest when she noticed a black bow and I took it off the wall for her. While we were looking around an employee went to my daughter and ask her would you like us to keep the bow in the front to hold it for you? It took us by surprise and my daughter told her that she wasn't sure if she wanted. Then we started walking away when I overheard her whispering through what seems to be an earpiece telling the other person that my daughter wasn't sure if she wanted the bow. I immediately felt uncomfortable even if they didn't accuse her of anything. Why was she approached? She's an eleven year old and I was there with her. I put the bow back and told my other daughter that we were going to be waiting outside. While waiting for my oldest daughter we went to Icing and she ended up buying five different bows. My oldest daughter ended buying the dress, but when we were at another store my youngest daughter started crying asking if it was because of the way she looked? Our whole shopping experience was ruined. My daughter went and returned the dress a couple minutes later. She didn't want to keep a dress that would remind her of how the employee from Windsor made her sister feel. read more

I love Windsor, and this location is new and a lot closer to where I live. Everything is very neat and organized. Fitting rooms can get a little busy, especially on the weekend, but the staff is very efficient in clearing out their rooms and checking up on you. The have a variety of clothing items, from T-shirt's, night out outfits, jackets, dresses, formal dresses, shoes, and accessories. What I like about this store is that everything is also very affordable and good quality clothing. The staff here was very friendly, and helpful. They looked like they enjoyed helping customers and being there in general. The cashier was especially nice, made conversation with me, and let me know about the 15% off Yelp check-in deal! I love this place !! beautiful clothing and amazing staff. Came in today looking for a birthday dress. I fell in love with a really pretty light blue dress. I tried it on but sadly it fit a bit weird around the top area so I looked around some more to see if I could find anything else. There was nothing else that grabbed my attention so I decided to head out. As I was walking out I was asked by a staff member if everything was ok and what she could do to help. I genuinely love this store because of all the variety of clothes!!! My daughter came in here looking for a last minute homecoming dress a few days ago and the options were incredible. The store was very clean and organized and nothing like the other stores I've gone to. The staff was incredible there was this one girl named Maisa who really took her time to help my daughter and I out. She always had a smile in her face and showed my daughter different styles that would fit my daughter's preferences!!! We would have been lost without her help!! I asked for her name before we left because she had amazing customer service skills. There was another girl in the front register that I loved but i forgot to ask her to write down her name for me. Went to go try on prom dresses with some friends today and Vanessa helped us out a ton. She was so sweet and helped answer all of our questions. I get this time of the year can get stressful for dress stores dealing with needy teenagers but she didn't seem bothered at all. There was one other lady on the floor for a bit but Vanessa was the one helping my friends and I and other customers the most. So attentive and helpful, she even helped me put two dresses on hold and explained the whole process to me. Windsor the company gets 5 stars. This store, I am giving 2. I've been in a few times. I can't remember the girls ever asking if I need help with anything, but no problem; I'm a big girl. However, a few days ago I went in to return items I purchased online. The women behind me were practically speaking in my ear. Not at any point did the cashier ask they abide by social distancing. As I approached the register these women followed me; perhaps they thought by standing close they'd be rung up quickly. The attendant did not ask them to abide by social distancing. As I returned my items, one of the two women began to comment on the items I was returning and why she does not purchase items online. I'd like to give the cashier the benefit of the doubt she did not hear this (loud) woman's comments. This entire transaction was one of thee most awkward retail encounters I have had. At minimum, the cashier could have asked the customers to acknowledge social distancing so she wasn't at the register with me. I could have said something too- but they may have been fighting words and no one needs that energy. An employee asking customers to abide by regulations makes the situation easier on everyone. read more

Run into one person at the fitting room that I seen working here she said oh I'm off the clock go ask them in the front cashier... I go to the front cashier and she tells me all we have a size small and I said no you also have a medium because my daughter is trying on a medium I am looking for a large size. My daughter and I went to Windsor to look for her homecoming dress we entered the store we were greeted with a welcome and a smile by Afra. As we browsed the store we found plenty of dresses, and some of the dresses were not the correct size, we asked for help and Lisa was able to assist us right away. Lisa was very patient, attentive, and knowledgeable. After several try- on's we finally picked a couple of dresses. We checked out but were still undecided about which dress we were gonna take we found out that the dresses were non-refundable at that point we made a final decision. Afra had a bright smile and helped us with care. She also offered different items that we needed to make my daughter's night whimsical. Afra and Lisa were so helpful and they both had great energy and excellent customer service.
