My insurance sent over the ticket to have windshield replaced. Danny's called immediately to set up appointment. I was told 2 hours. It only took 1 hour and was very pleased. I have a 2014 Honda Accord and they had to recalibrate the the sensors. Very friendly and very clean waiting room and office. Highly recommend them. Soon will be taking my 1962 Thunderbird in to have rear window rubber seal replaced. It is going to be a big job. read more

Dustin and his co-worker did an excellent job of removing a very large mirror in addition to a smaller one. The mirrors remained intact and were reinstalled with no issues. These people are the best! Kelly is great, thorough and calm and asks the right questions. She gives all the info and has a nice calm demeanor. A little humor goes a long way too. Had a stressful situation in that my car had a smash and grab situation and in less than 48 hours it was repaired at a lower price than the dealership charged for parts alone. The cost was actually a little less than was estimated and the amount of time it took for the install was less than expected. The work was top-notch, unlike the other company and they were honest, again, unlike the other company. I tried to get my windshield replaced on my day off and set up an appt with another company. I needed it done that day so I drove an hour to get there, only to find they could not do it! I was already an hour from home, so I asked Google to find me an auto repair shop and Google sent me to Dannys. The man who answered the phone was so nice. Our dresser mirror broke and I brought the frame here to get a replacement mirror put in. The main receptionist was out for lunch, but the manager was happy to take my information (a long, friendly conversation ensued). One of the employees did all the heavy lifting, and I returned two weeks later to pick it up (again, an employee put the mirror in my truck for me). Pricing was very reasonable ($65 for a large, custom cut mirror, no bevel), and the work looked good. read more

I took my vehicle there for a windshield replacement. Thankfully, I walked into the service area because they hadn't finished the job yet. I saw that they scratched the hood, likely from dropping the glass when it was removed. They denied it at first, but it was obvious how it happened. Later, I noticed severe gouge marks around the trim area from they were digging out the glass and scratched the paint there too. If you value your vehicle, dont take it here, they are very rough. read more

Danny's Glass was paid to replace a window in my house in March. While doing a portion of it, the workers broke an exterior windowpane. They told me they would go back to the office and order a replacement so it could be fixed at no cost. Well it is now June 1st and after multiple calls from me and the selling real estate agent over the last 3/4 months they supposedly are coming out. Probably the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Not once did anyone ever call me back or call me at all to update me on what their timeline was to fix a window THEY broke. Then when I talked to them today, their excuse was that things got shuffled around and lost in the mix. What kind of excuse is that? Maybe I could have accepted that excuse a month or two ago or after the first phone call I had with them in March, but after repeated calls and repeated requests for an update, saying things got mixed up is NOT a valid excuse. Maybe this is an isolated incident but since this is my first time using them, I will never use them again, nor will I recommend that anyone in the Williamsburg and Newport News area uses them either. read more
