Glad I went but would not go back. 3 stars. 1 for service. 1 for experience/ environment. 1 for dessert. The service was excellent we had a great waiter. The atmosphere was really cute with a farm Grandma's house vibe. The food is brought out Family Style Dining. Vegetable soup was first which I found very tasteless. Next you got a ton of food with two Meats of chicken and a chop steak and gravy. The chicken had no spice but was cooked well. The other food that I tasted was again just very Bland. Not bad just no flavor. Dessert was also provided and the dessert was great. Best blackberry cobbler I have ever ate.

Exceptional customer service and delicious food -- Daniel Boone Inn is a gem! We visited this past September and arrived close to closing time, but the staff didn't bat an eye or make us feel rushed. They were friendly and welcoming the entire time, and service was impressively fast. The food is served family style, and it's packed with all the Southern staples you'd expect -- fried chicken, green beans, mac and cheese, country ham, biscuits, and more. And if you want refills on anything, just ask! The mac and cheese was soooo good; I couldn't stop eating it. You even get your choice from 3 desserts at the end. We loved all 3 but the Strawberry Shortcake was the favorite of the table. One thing to note -- it's cash only. But don't worry, they do accept personal checks (even out-of-state ones!) and there's an ATM in the lobby if you need it. I also loved how they've preserved the history of the building, which was once a hospital and inn. While we waited to be seated, we enjoyed checking out the mini museum on the wall, which adds to the charm of the place. Overall, fantastic food, great service, and a unique setting. Can't wait to come back when I'm in the area. *also, want to give a big shout to the restaurant for their amazing support to local hurricane victims by donating over 2,000 meals to those in the community impacted by Hurricane Helene. It was just one more reason to love this place.*

Vegetable soup, fried chicken, green beans, creamed corn, apples, Cole slaw, mashed potatoes, chicken gravy, salisbury steak and biscuits.

What an experience. Decor is very interesting and informative, food was amazing and service was on point. Definitely make this a point to try out if in area.

Fried chicken, homemade biscuits, ham biscuits, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, green beans, coleslaw, etc

I've never done a family style restaurant, but this was by far a great experience! The staff were pleasant and professional. The food was excellent as as well as the dessert.

    Family style for 2

Family style. Tons of it. Refills on anything. Includes 2 meats 6 starch/veggies AND their own biscuits. Also includes a dessert and well as drinks. staff was terrific too to bottom. Hadn't been in a while and all was pretty much like i expected. Some things are better left untouched and unchanged.

On arrival 11/8 Hope and Sophie greeted us with an engaging tour of Lovill House Inn and it's history. My husband and I rented the on-site cabin with my sister and her spouse for 4 nights. The cabin was spacious and refreshingly clean and well appointed, including glass water bottles in bedrooms replenished as needed. We enjoyed the cabin's fireplace each evening. The breakfast offerings each morning were generous and delicious, presented beautifully. And that's an understatement. Shirred eggs, the best eggs I've ever eaten (recipes available). Any dietary requests were met quickly. The grounds are beautiful, with the newly renovated barn available for special occasions. A path to a nearby waterfall is on the grounds. The sustainable commitments made at he Lovill House Inn are impressive. This includes the solar panel installations with Tesla battery support; the no-plastics policy; commitment to healthful food options, with some flavourful ingredients grown on site. The staff managed so well by Allison (also and on-site chef) were thoughtful and knowledgeable providing a truly special experience for guests. I recommend Lovill House Inn as the finest in the area.

Although there were only a very few other customers/clients there, the staff seemed very stressed out and was not welcoming. There seemed to be a lot of communication issues between staff and management, and we observed a woman who seemed to be the owner openly yelling a small group in formalwear taking photos and also at the GM. It was extremely unprofessional. I'm very surprised at the lack of warmth and customer service, especially since there are so many other fantastic resorts, spas and venues in the area, like Chetola, Eseeola, and the Inn at Crestwood as competition. I have been to all of the others that I have listed, and had a significantly better experience at each.

The spa has an incredible view, though it's starting to feel a bit dated -- the women's locker room could use updates, and the aromatherapy showers weren't producing any scent. My massage with Ted was excellent, but the food court fell short of "spa-quality." The Manor, however, was absolute perfection. Jennifer, our hostess, was the highlight of our stay -- warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. She made us feel completely at home and went above and beyond to ensure every detail was just right. Our room was beautifully updated, with a stunning view and the most comfortable bed. Westglow is a peaceful, welcoming retreat with exceptional hospitality. With a few spa and menu updates, it could easily be a five-star destination.
