I originally went here thinking to order a Cuban necklace but ended up just ordering a jewelry bag (still debating which necklace), and I have to say the entire process has been disappointing. After waiting a week since my order I called inquiring my ship date & was told the beginning of the following week. I thought odd to wait a few weeks for a bag, but ok. When nothing happened Mon-Wed the following week, I called in Wednesday & they said "it's going out now" & gave me a tracking number. Nothing went out, so I called in Thursday, where I was told they're waiting for it to be picked up. We're now to the weekend & nothing shipped again, so I guess I'm waiting another week. I don't like being given the run around. If you need a month to ship something, then tell me it takes a month, but stop telling customers false information. I would understand if this was custom jewelry, but this is a bag. This was supposed to be a birthday gift. This is my first order with this store & I will say I'm super disappointed. I went into Daniel's to check how much it would be to repair two pieces of pearl jewelry. One was a fake Pearl necklace with a broken clasp, and the other was a real (but still not of high quality) elastic Pearl bracelet that had broken the elastic. The combined worth of these two items was about $60, so I was expecting to pay around $25 for two simple procedures. When I went in, I was told to put down information, and that they would call me back in a few days to let me know the price. When I asked the staff how much they estimated it would cost, they said $75 dollars was the average, but it would probably be cheaper. Today, about a WEEK later, I called them back asking about the progress of the appraisal, and I was told it would cost $560 dollars to repair both. I am by no means a jewelry expert, but that is more than insane. I would be paying almost TEN TIMES what I initially paid for the pieces just to do simple repairs. There is no reason that the price of a repair should be anywhere near that price, and I would strongly recommend going elsewhere for your jewelry repair needs. read more

I purchased a ring in July, 90 days and diamond fell out. They will not cover it under manufacturers defect. It is definitely a defective ring. A product SHOULD NOT fail in 90 days unless it was not manufactured correctly. They want to charge me more money to replace the diamond. Their in-store customer service is terrible too. Do not do business with this fraudulent company. I would rather go to another jeweler and spend the money to have it replaced. read more

BEWARE: I never leave bad reviews but after spending as much money as I did here Daniel's deserves it. We bought two rings. Buy one get one for a penny deal. First they tried to charge me way more than the listing price and I came back the same day and made them lower it or I was gonna return everything. Of course they lowered it. The second ring we got they told us was 1000 dollars then after looking in their catalog I saw it was actually 500 dollars. IF YOU DO PURCHASE HERE CHECK THE PRICES IN THE CATALOG. then the second ring they said wouldn't be in for 2 weeks. 2 weeks later we come in to check to see if it's in they said the second one wasnt but the first one was (it had been broken when I got it so I put in a request for a new one to switch it with) so I got my first one and the second one they said would be no more than another 2 weeks there was a delay. We call every day to check and nobody knows what or when the ring will show up. They promise a call back and then never return the call. Today is the 2nd 2 week mark. A month after we have bought it. They tell me *can you guess* oh it will be another 2 weeks (keep in mind they are just transferring this from one store to a other and the other store is in phoenix) I told them that's what they have told me the past two times. THE MANAGER of the store says well idk what to tell you we will call you when it comes in. I told her she didnt call me when mine was in and the only reason I knew it was , was because we came in and checked she said yes we did we call all our customers. So what I'm lying?? I told her I would pull up my call history right there and prove her wrong. I had to tell them I deserve an ETA or for you to figure out where it's at before they picked up a phone to even try to figure it out and the other store had no clue also. This business is a crap show. 67 years? Really. You would think a place in business this long would have some integrity or respect for their customers. They are liars. They are rude. Never again will I bring my business here. They have an F on BBB and I WISH I WOULD HAVE DONE MY RESEARCH. What a joke. My husband and I were looking for new wedding bands as it was our five year anniversary. We were interested in there buy one item and get another thing for a penny deal. While showing us the rings the lady helping us kept repeating to us "please dont run off with this" Like we were thieves. She wouldn't let me hold the ring for a right amount of time to inspect it stating that "I might run off with it" I understand that there are people who have bad intentions. But to treat potential buyers like this who are sitting in chairs right in back of of the store with numerous sales reps around them seems a little ridiculous. And I never saw her or any of the other sales people have this same amount of caution with other buyers. It really made me feel like they judged me and didnt value my money there so I went to another place to get my rings. Just adding to the list of awful reviews here. Can't believe this place is in business. My wedding bands and engagement ring was purchased and resized here. There was 3 pieces: 2 bands and a middle ring. They resized it wrong. Somehow the to bands were size 7, the right size, and the middle ring was an 8.5?! Easy fix right? Just take it in, tell them about their MISTAKE and they fix it right? WRONG! They told me I'd have to pay to get it fixed! What kind of company doesn't fix their mistakes? I'd give this negative stars if I could. I got engaged Saturday, and my ring is a little big but I'm unsure if I want to resize right now because I've recently lost weight due to being sick. I called Daniels on Monday mid- morning asking if the have any temporary inserts that would keep my ring snug on my finger. The girl i spoke with was very helpful and insistent she knew exactly what I was requesting and that they had them for about $4-5. I asked her how long it would take them to put it in my ring for me and she told me about 5 minutes. Perfect! Told her I'd be in around noon. I go in the store and ask for the temporary insert, and the girl (not sure if she was who I spoke to) slides across the glass a tiny piece of metal with a couple weird curves and coils in a tiny plastic bag. She didn't offer to tell me how it works, to put it on for me, nothing just sides it across to me and says "it's $4." I said ok... I don't understand how it works. She takes it out of the bag and vaguely describes how it keeps the ring on your finger but her instructions were vague and unclear. I just stand there staring at her confused and finally asked her to just put it on for me. She then tells me that she can't do that because if the metal scratches my ring up, then they'd be liable. Well clearly if it's gonna scratch my ring, i don't want it. She continued to talk in circles and again when I asked her to just do it for me since she's so insistent it works, she tells me she can't because it's difficult because her nails are too long.. but she proceeded to try to convince me to buy it. Long story short, I left and went to Kay, they were helpful, knowledgeable, and glad to help!! Daniels is shady business and customer service. Waste of time read more

Purchased an engagement ring on 11/29/2018 Around 8:30p.m. Before purchased asked sales person if anything were to not go as plan whats the return policy. He stated that there wouldn't be an issue at all. On customer receipt and Daniels policy states I have 10 Days to return for complete refund. I went into store 11/30/2018 at 5:20p.m to pick up ring cause sales men took ring out of store to a off location jeweler to have it sized to pick up. 12/01/2018 at 10:05a.m returned to store to return ring I had just picked up due to death in my family. Walked into store spoke to sales person about my return. She then spoke to manager which said before looking at the receipt "NO". Then I said that the receipt says I have 10 days for full refund. At that point she looked at the receipt and said "they couldn't do it now cause of the method of payment received at the time of purchase" some was done cash and some from finance company. So then I called finance company they notified me that there is absolutely no problem to return the amount financed. At that time I told them what company had said to me in regards to the refund. Then the manager said since they financed some of the portion that they wouldn't be able to do the return until they get an approval. So I called their finance deposit and spoke to them for about 30 Min and they said there isn't any issue at all they can take care of it and that the locations manager said they would call me back no later then Saturday. No its 12/03/2018 and still no response from anyone I need to be able to return the product ASAP. Last thing I want is for them not to get back to me in time before the 10 days are up. read more
