Ask the Community - Daniel's Jewelers

Do they do piercings here during the pandemic?

While we are still doing piercings, it is best to call the store in advance to make an appointment to be sure one of our certified piercing experts will be at the store when you arrive.

I love this shop. I've been going here for years. My favorite people are Alex (Who I called Angel…read morefor months lol :O in my defense he never corrected me, but I'm sorry) and Sammy!! Hubby and I bought our wedding rings from here at a great price and they've lasted. The best day to go is Saturday for more selection. I have also gotten jewelry fixed. I've gotten an earring turned into a necklace charm. I've had an adjustable bracelet with that ball that tightens but eventually would slide down, turned into a bracelet with a clip instead, and multiple rings resized The jeweler does great, flawless, work and works SO fast! Also, I once saw an item online that was at the hemet store and they were kind enough to bring it to the Perris store, the same day, for me to purchase. They pay for gold not gems or diamonds as many pawn shops do, no surprises there. I do find it weird that I have bought under $800 worth of jewelry and got free jewelry cleaner solution but I bought $2k worth of jewelry like last month and the lady at the counter wouldn't give me free jewelry cleaner solution :( - maybe that's up to the salesperson ? Idk what's up with that lol The jewelry cleaner solution has their logo on it and it leaves the jewelry so clean, fresh and sparkly!!! Pricing for jewelry and for fixes is always straightforward, never had issues with that. Anyways, Love the selection, variety of the pieces sold and the nice guys.

I just took my watch to Fast Fix Jewelry and Watch Repairs, paying $149.95 for a hand adjustment,…read morenew stem, and their "watch spa" service. When I picked up the watch, it initially seemed fine, but once I examined it in better lighting outside, the poor quality of the work was obvious. The inside of the glass had visible fog and streaks, and the watch looked dirty overall. I immediately went back to ask them to take another look, even questioning whether the "watch spa" service had been done. The employee assured me it was completed and that the difference would be noticeable in the cleanliness of the links. She told me more cleaning would require an additional polishing service. (Putting a watch in an ultrasonic cleaner for 5 minutes shouldn't cost $49.95.) However, after further inspection, the watch had new fingerprints and scratches on the hands, no noticeable cleaning, and was missing the o-ring for the watch back. The quality of the work was extremely disappointing. I should've noticed the warning signs sooner. The watches on display inside the store are Chinese look-alikes for more expensive brands. For example, all the CURREN watches they have in the ROLEX cabinet for $200+ can be found online for less than $30. At $25 an hour, I worked six hours to pay for this repair, but they spent less than 90 minutes and returned subpar work. I definitely would not recommend this shop if you're expecting quality service or fair pricing. To be fair, they did swap out the stem like I asked them to. If you need a battery replaced, they'd probably do a good job, that's the 2 stars. But so would the guy at the swapmeet. And you wouldn't pay $150 for it. UPDATE: They replaced the stem with a stem from Swiss Legends. Chinese POS parts. They should at least give me my Noma III crown back! I'm a pretty fair guy. I took it back to let them take another shot at it. A quick swipe with an alcohol wipe and a "stop bitching about it" look and I had all I could take from this shop. I'm glad it was an Invicta and not my Seiko Chrono or Grand Seiko. Everyone out here trying to rip everyone else off.

I'm no expert but come on now how do you mess up this bad? this is definitely an example of carelessness and unprofessionalism. there's even wear in places that shouldn't have been touched. their jeweler should not be a handling peoples possessions if he doesn't take pride into his craft. I can't believe they looked at it, said this looks good to me, and called us to pick it up. The worst part is no one took ownership and apologized. lesson learned, let my mistake be a lesson to future customers. do your research.

I reached out on Yelp asking multiple jewelers about medium thick chains for memorial necklaces…read moresince we want something durable. Guy from Jeweler's Touch stood out in his quick responses and helpfulness. When we arrived that evening to speak to someone, Brandon was amazing. He was friendly, super patient, and explained everything. He understood how difficult it was to look for rose gold chains, especially when thicker too. I was super indecisive and he gave me all the time in the world to look through their gold book which had all kinds of designs and thickness scaled to life size so I could place my pendant on it to imagine how it would look. He also brought out samples of chain types as I picked out ones to see if I'd like the look in person. He ended up finding an estate gold chain that looked absolutely perfect for my husband's pendant in shine and style. We tried it for a few days (they give you 30 days hassle-free) and my husband knew it wasn't the right length of style for his personal preference and our tuggy toddlers within one day. It was gorgeous and I wished it worked out, but maybe not for us. We came back a few days later after Christmas Eve and Brandon helped me out again with the return and gave me suggestions for the length of my husband's necklace based on preference. I saw people coming in and out during the two times I went and I see why. These people are amazing, patient, knowledgeable, super friendly and not pushy at all. They want to help make happy customers who are looking for that perfect jewelry. Although we are still on the search for the "perfect" chain for each of us (we are not major jewelry people but need this to be just right for us in every way), I appreciate the help that Jeweler's Touch gave and would recommend them for anyone looking for a custom piece or specific jewelry services.

They are listed as GIA trained and certified so I trusted taking my GIA diamond ring to them. I first called in to see if their appraisal specialist was there and found out it is a family owned jeweler and the son is a GIA trained diamond specialist, he was very kind over the phone and welcomed me to come in same day for an appraisal. He not only did appraisals, but ring cleaning and rhodium plating if needed during the process. The store is located in a cute little shopping center with a simply elegant storefront. The store is very secure and safe with two locked doors to enter and exit. We were met by the son, Michelangelo, who was very pleasant to work with. He explained the process to me and that he could do everything right now in front of me. This was a huge relief because a lot of jewelers say you drop off your diamond and they will call you to come back when the appraisal is complete. I did not feel comfortable leaving my diamond with anyone, but Michelangelo assured me everything would be done right in front of me. He pulled out his microscope to read my GIA number on the side of my diamond and even let me look through the lenses to show me where my number was located as well. The entire process took about 10 min, which was extended longer because we were talking so much and he was teaching me about my diamond. He said he does a lot of custom pieces so we talked about a custom wedding band for my fiancé. Overall, very pleased with this experience. Michelangelo was extremely knowledgeable and had great customer service. I highly recommend Geneva Jewelry not only for jewelry appraisals, but for beautifully crafted custom jewelry pieces.

My wife was gifted older jewelry from her grandmother and wanted to have it appraised and possibly resized -- approximately 25 items. She booked the appointment online and was never informed of any appraisal or handling fees. When my wife, her cousin, and I arrived, we received no warm welcome whatsoever. We were about 15 minutes late due to being new to the area and accidentally going to the wrong location, and we apologized immediately. From that moment on, the older brunette woman who assisted us was rude and dismissive. There was no small talk, responses were short and snippy, and the overall customer service was very poor. When my wife asked for an estimate to sell some items and have a bracelet repaired and cleaned, the employee scoffed and said, "Just so you know, this is exactly why I asked how many items you had -- because we charge a fee." I explained that this fee should have been mentioned upfront or charged when the appointment was booked online. I also expressed that she had been rude since we walked in and made us feel completely unwelcome. Management may want to address customer service expectations with this employee. We had every intention of doing business here, but her attitude alone made us decide otherwise.
