Last time I had an appointment at 2 pm and got there at 2:02 and the barber had a guy on his chair. I asked him about the appointment and he said he took someone else since I was late. 2 min tardy. Never went back. He made a big deal about it too. Yall should have a 5 min grace period. We have to wait when yall get back up. Even the owner told me to not be late next time. read more

Son and I got our first haircut at Daniel's. Very busy is a good way barber shop. We got service quickly and done well. It was enjoyable. We'll have to go back. It was too enjoyable. They had quite a few barbers, so the crowd was taken care of. One barber was having a big discussion with guests about NBA basketball players current and in the past. It was fun to watch them. The barber shop was great! I was visiting my daughter from out-of-town and definitely was looking like a hobo. I stoped by to see if they're were busy and they were, however Maddie just finished with somebody and took me right away. She was great! What a nice young lady. We talked about all kinds of stuff like old friends, especially how bad Texas drivers are--no joke. My hair cut was great . The only reason for 4 stars was that I wasn't used to paying so much for a haircut. Maddie gave me a "first responder/law enforcement" discount and it was still a pretty penny. I have been coming here for two years. I have my preferred barber but all of the guys and girls give a great cut. It's one of the few places that will do a wet shave with the hot towels and it's well worth it. They know how to cut beards and fades. I will never go to TGF again. I used to get my son's hair cut there because it was quick; I could be in and out within 20 minutes, yet I always walked out disappointed. As a mom with little young boys finding a person who can cut their hair well is hard to find. I'm finally ditching the sports clips and super cuts (no offense) and coming here to Daniels barber shop from now on. This was my first time to a barber shop and let me tell you, I was in awe at the the vibe I got when I walked in. It was just like in the movies. All the chairs were filled. The waiting area packed and the list of names on the wait list LONG. The vibe was so cool and real. It felt like a truly small town kinda place. I was greeted when I walked from the owner who was busy cutting a mans hair. For our first time, showing up on a Saturday on the day before a holiday wasn't the best idea because the wait was LONG but so well worth it. Ricardo cut all Little of my little guys hair and did such a good job. All their edges are cut straight and fade perfect. If your a mom with boys under age 4 then you know that getting a good hair cut and not a chop job is hard to come by. He spent 20 + mins getting their hair perfect. And I couldn't believe how much time each barber spent on the guys they were working on. Some up to 40+ mins. I'm only shocked because the places I've seen men get their hair cut at. It takes the girls maybe 15 mins to cut a mans hair. The barbers here were perfectionist. Anyways I hope this post helps convince you to give a Barbershop a try! read more

I called Daniel's Barber Shop earlier today, and found out that they do not have appointments. So I went there, and was immediately placed in a chair to have my hair cut by Rocky. This turned out to be one of the best haircuts I have ever had. I told Rocky I wanted a layered cut, with a square back. I also wanted to have my beard trimmed, and I suggested that he use a number one and one-half attachment on the trimmer. He asked if I wanted my eyebrows done, and I said yes. Once everything was agreed, Rocky started cutting. In addition to the hair, beard and eyebrows, he also made sure my nose hair and ear hair was properly trimmed. And then he applied hot shaving cream to my neck, to ensure that the area below my beard and the back of my neck was properly shaved. All this for the price of a regular haircut - and I got a discount because I am a senior!! Highly recommended! By the way, if you go there and have to wait, they have a book where you write your name so that they serve people in order. A sign said you must be there when your name is called - no phone-ins! read more

Just moved to area and was told this was the place to go. Went in as a walkin and asked for a trim and shave, the lady that took me did a decent job on my hair but had no idea what she was doing with the razor when it came time to shave me. Started by dry shaving me with an electric razor and while I'm sure she was trying to do her best she burnt my entire face. She then decides it would be a good idea to apply the hot wet towel covering my entire face including my nose making it difficult to breath. By this time I was curious as to just how bad it could get. She then came back and proceeded to trim whiskers that survived the blistering dry razor attack with a straight razor. I never saw a license posted although there isn't a bare spot on any wall in the place. Looks like they stop at every garage sale they see and pick up some wall art for the shop. It's been two weeks and my face is still breaking out. I almost forgot to make the whole experience even more unforgettable, some other woman spent the entire time (approximately 45 minutes) jabbering in spanish to the lady butchering my face about some personal boyfriend issues she was having. The place is decent, would rate it higher if the consistency was the same amongst all barbers. Obviously by the check-ins I keep coming back, not sure I can find another shop that I have confidence that perform a decent fade in Conroe. read more

I got a mid-fade and it was hands down the best haircut I've had in the last 5 years. I wish I had found this place 3 months ago.
