Today, most of the places I've gone to are more "salon-y" and trendy than this kind of establishment. When you walk in there is a row of chairs. It is definitely no frills, but the quality and speed make up for the lack of frills. Both times I have been, I was seen by Le. He is quick, awesome at what he does, and very thorough. He is extremely comfortable with fades and a straight blade. If you need a good, inexpensive haircut -- you've found your place here.

After requesting a manager, I received the same scripted response, with no flexibility or attempt to resolve the issue. For context: I have been a loyal member for almost five years, bringing my son in twice a month as well. I intended to extend my membership for a year, not be forced into a six-month auto-renewal without notification. Their response was essentially: "We'll continue to charge your card or you'll have a balance." Um...no...American Express already blocked the charge due to lack of authorization. This entire experience from lack of notice to unhelpful staff demonstrates poor management and zero effort in customer retention. It's disappointing to see a long-time member treated this way. Goodbye, Boardroom. Clearly, customer service and loyalty are not a priority here.

I called multiple times to book an appointment again after one of the workers ruined my hair. Everytime I asked to book an appointment, they hung up on me. I got a very unfriendly vibe from there and will NOT be returning. My end result of my first haircut was a fail... I have since had to cut off most of my hair to look nice again. read more

I told John what I wanted and he pretty much figured it out. He is friendly and pays meticulous attention to detail. I also like that he works by appointment. He doesn't rush his work and seems to take his craft seriously. The only hesitation I might have is that he's a Rockets fan but I guess that can be pardoned.
