Last time we were on the video board side also in the corner upper rows. Directly opposite of where we sat last night. Both areas had great views of the field and for the most part we were able to watch the game without issues. When people and their kids were constantly getting up to let others through or kids just bored talking loud, playing loud videos, or moving around the stands without parents being parents, then there were problems which were at times difficult to deal with. Another issue which I did not even think to consider is that where we were, and having the river behind us, is that there were numerous flies making things irritating. Parking is in numerous lots throughout the area and all are cashless, so buy your pass before and get the code emailed to you to be scanned by the attendants. Police are plentiful directing traffic before and after the game. Subaru Park holds 20,000. There's plenty of bathrooms, multiple food stands (average food at high prices), and if you don't mind 24/7 cheering, the Sons of Ben section almost next to us will make you wonder how many sore throats there are the day after games. Some sections have signage specifically stating that they are standing allowed sections. The Sons of Ben sections also have signs saying you can expect to stand the whole game. Overall, we had a great time and are 2-0 with Union wins both games we attended. When we come back again, we'll be shooting for the video board side for our seats. No flies, less kids, not as much noise from the Sons of Ben (sorry, everyone) and less windy! Go Union! Ba-ba-baba-ba-ba-ba-ba....Heeeeeeyyy You! For about 20 minutes straight....

I like that this stadium was designed for soccer matches rather than sharing with other sports. It's not overwhelming, easy to get to the vendors you want, the bathrooms are clean, no roof, and you can see everything happening on the pitch without looking up at the screen. The river/bridge is right behind one side with a nice view from behind the opposing team's supporter section. The parking lot can use some work but I'm sure that will come in time.

He stuck to what was within reach, by riding the 1-token fire truck and motorcycle in front of the PlayPark, playing skeeball, and trying out the NERF Arcade shooting game. While I enjoyed the TMNT 4-player arcade game and shooting basketballs at the NBA hoops. We won most of our tickets from skeeball, NERF Arcade, and NBA hoops. *BE MINDFUL that not all of the arcade games disperse tickets so you know what you are paying and playing for.* We didn't win enough tickets to redeem anything that we liked. Now onto the food: you have to buy an entire personal pizza instead of a slice. Not a bad thing because it can easily be split between two people or devoured by a very hungry person. The pizza is solid. Much better than I anticipated. It has a homemade taste to it, much like those homemade English muffin pizzas that one can make at home. The candy bars are about $1.25 a piece. We also tried the MiniMelts ice cream vending machine. I didn't like the cotton candy flavor but my nephew ate every bite! We'll be returning!

However, I did notice that Lincoln Financial Field seemed to have more bathrooms located closer together than the Xfinity Mobile Arena, which was convenient. They have several parking lots, so it would be helpful if they provided information showing the best lot and entrance to use based on your seating section. That could prevent people from having to walk alllllllll the way around that huuuge field! Most of the workers were nice and engaging and of course some overdue their job. Since it is an outdoor stadium, thunderstorms can definitely put a damper on an event until the weather clears. I understand that delays are necessary for everyone's safety, but maybe it's time to consider adding a retractable dome! Overall, I still enjoyed the concert and had an AMAAAAAAZING time!!!!

Our 3rd row seats gave us access to a supposedly exclusive club at halftime, so I was expecting some quality eats--unfortunately, the chicken po boy that came highly recommended was probably the worst arena food I've ever had. Nonetheless, I didn't go for food, I went for the game, and the high energy collegiate basketball atmosphere of this place would surely be tough to beat anywhere. There are two types of Dans in this world-- those who rise above and those who squander, and it's unfortunate to hear that Villanova let this kind of beta-Dan into such a fine establishment. As I first walked into the Pav, I immediately felt the love and warmth that has traditionally bonded the Villanova community together for centuries. The Pavilion, which needed a big upgrade, looked like a totally different animal once inside. At 6 5" and 240 lbs I found that I had ample legroom. Once comfortably seated in our section, my beautiful wife, 3 beautiful children and myself were lucky enough to catch a thrilling contest between Nova and Temple. Wow. What a showdown. My 3 little ones were on the edge of their seats, and my wife and I formed yet another glorious memory together. All-in-all, we stayed the whole game because, as true Wildcats, we finish what we start. PS - I am in full support of the serving of alcohol for those of age. College is a wonderful learning experience, and there is no better place to learn responsible drinking habits than under the direct supervision of the greatest University in The United States of America. They didn't have parking availability at the event so I opted to park across the street in the Citizens Bank Parking Lot. The individuals who are directing traffic and letting you in do not do a great job. They were waving me to go around when that was not correct at all, luckily I pulled a U turn and had my car half way in the lot when he said pull in. He was legit trying to get me lost after I paid for reserve parking in that designated lot. 2)Went to Chickie's and Pete's ordered one basket of tenders with fries, another order of fries, and three cokes. Bill came to $78, when I asked for a breakdown, the cashier gave me a look like I had three heads and said they don't do that and handed my a receipt just with the total charge on it. The Venue itself presents well, and we had seats in section 113 center which made my first WWE event a very pleasurable experience. Now should I mention that three tickets at this level total almost $1,000? A very expensive night out to go to most events at the Xfinity Mobile Area. You do have Xfinity Live! within a few blocks with big screens and good eats, I would probably opt to watch events at Xfinity Live instead but if you're jonesing to see the event in person be sure to save up for the event. Come early in the evening (I'm talking 5:30 when they open!) for the people watching-- you get little old couples dancing and listening to the music, versus 9:30 when you have tattoos and wifebeaters making drunk passes at hooker heels and push up bras. 3. It's a carnival-- of course they have the requisite funnel cake and hot dogs. Stay away from the stretch across from the midway if you want authentic. The Antonian has my personal favorite food (must get a porkette sandwich!), but go to the cage (The Piazza) as a second choice, and Nona Strada as a last resort (everyone seems to line up for the pizza there). I think the nice thing about the Italian fest is there's something for everyone. At Greek fest, food is only done by church volunteers, and the lines stretch on FOREVER, but at St. Anthony's you have restaurants vending as well. Some people are happy with their "baked ziti" and panzarotti. 4. Charging to enter was one of the greatest decisions they made. It keeps the riff raff out. At least there are multiple entrances, so lines never get too backed up. If you truly want the authentic St. Anthony's experience, go on the final Sunday. Take part in the 12:00 mass (remember, this is a CHURCH), watch the procession and give dollars to the saints to get bread, or prayer cards, or flowers, and then head into the festival for some food, music, and lemon ice with vodka.

Such a special place! How had I never heard of this museum?…read moreIt's magic! As others have said, they are not open every day, festival days are held the first Sunday of every month (June-Nov). It is quick and easy to buy tickets online in advance. You can choose admission to the grounds with house tour, admission with rides, or the full package. This was really helpful because though I'd love to someday see the house, it's much easier to just do rides for young kids. With general admission, you do get to see the museum located behind the house, with antique cars, and Lionel trains. The model trains are set up and running, which the kids love. You also get free popcorn from the antique steam-powered popcorn machine. It was really good! Around the grounds, there is a train theme play structure, a pond with fountain and bridge, picnic tables, and a corn hole game. They also had era-appropriate live music, and an ice cream food truck! The Steamin' Days events are from 12:30pm-4:30pm, and if you choose rides, you get 4 with your ticket. They punch the ticket each ride. There is a ride-on steam train, ride-on diesel train, a steam bus, and two convertible cars from which to choose. You can ride 4 times on the same thing, or any combo you like! My son had a blast on everything, but my favorite was the convertible car. The day was all for my son, and I did not think I'd enjoy myself as much as I did, which is always a happy surprise! I can't wait to go to another! Also as others have mentioned, the volunteers were really knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and engaging. They really put their all into creating a spectacular day for everyone. Every detail was covered, from the crossing guard at the entrance making sure everyone was safe, to the "purse parking" table at the train boarding, to the exciting train conductors' uniforms. This place is immaculate looking, and the experience is 1000% streamlined to care for everyone's needs. It was like a VIP event, but my ticket was only $12, and my son's was $4!!! If you have an ACCESS Delaware pass, you get $2pp admission for up to 4 people. The experience is worth so much more! *One caveat was a woman helping with boarding the train; she randomly, and very unnecessarily and harshly, warned my son to keep his hands inside the car--BEFORE he even sat down--with a threat of ejecting him from the ride, and did not give the same misery to any other passenger. You don't speak that way to a 2yo! But overall, I cannot recommend this place enough! It should be all over the brochures of the Brandywine Valley. Such an exciting, fun, amazing place!
