The Doobie Brothers with Michael McDonald 6/23/22
    P N.

Awful venue. We saw the Doobie Brothers on their 50th anniversary tour on June 23, 2022. The sound system was terrible, distorted sound for the first few songs of their set. The camera person work has ZERO clue who was playing which guitar/which solo - the same goes for the spotlight operator. Most solos were played in the dark, even when the musician(s) stepped forward for their solo portion. The SEATS are not built for anyone over 125 lbs. No exaggeration! We were crammed in like sardines. I paid $151 (plus Ticketmaster fees) per ticket in section 101 row V. We got (1) nachos, (2) pretzels and (1) large soda and paid $36 (with a 20% tip for the poor souls who have to work behind the counter). Pick another venue to see your favorite musicians. This place needs a complete overhaul.

Everything they say, it's true. Everything. Even the contradictory things. I've been here twice now. The first time, I parked in Philly and took the ferry over. Super convenient and it runs on both sides of concerts, although if you have a bit of a wait between the concert and the ferry, you may find some characters hanging out by the fountain and in the park, the type who are probably sleeping there and may ask you for money. In Philly, I discovered I parked in the wrong area and got towed. So... I came back, and this time parked in Trenton and took the light rail down, which stops immediately outside the front door of the venue. 5 stars for convenience! In the venue, I was there for MMRBQ and they allowed everyone up front for the first 5 acts before making us return to our seats/lawn. It was nice of the venue to accommodate that, something I've never experienced before and led to a set list and guitar pick before I was gently ushered out. Great for the openers who aren't well known yet, although I can't say that about bands like Mammoth WVH and Dirty Honey! The lack of 5 stars really comes from the sightlines. The bowl here is much shallower than PNC/Garden State Arts Center in Holmdel, so you don't get to see well from most of the seating or the back of the lawn. (You can stand, but then if everyone else stands, you're back where you started.) Audio quality is fine, lawn size is a little smaller than Holmdel (maybe what it was like before the remodel decades ago) but I really have no caveats other than that. Enjoy the show and get there early if you're in a "choose your own seat" area.

I've been to BB&T Pavilion twice now (and going again in a few months). The first time was quite a few years ago when I saw Linkin Park and the second time was recent (last weekend 02/15/2022). The pavilion has changed in the years in between and it's not super noticeable inside the pavilion but rather the parking situation. We arrived late to the concert due to parking. The signs for parking weren't very clear unless you're VIP or prepaid. The line for regular parking was extremely long and painfully slow. For $40, you'd expect that they would be more organized but no...it's chaotic. Once you pay for parking, it's a free for all and mad dash to find a spot. There's no one directing the flow of traffic at all. So people are driving in and out of lanes, parking in two spots, turning around because a giant semi truck is blocking a section of parking, etc. If you are to pay for parking, get there early or you're going to arrive at the venue stressed out. The venue itself is okay. Security is good and they check everything. They also check vaccinations/PCR tests. Merch line was good, they had a good system down for that. I usually get merch before the concert because lines are way too long after but that wasn't the case in our situation. Acoustics were decent, a little feedback once but I don't think many people noticed. Lighting was great and theatrics were awesome (I love pyrotechnics at concerts). It's not my favorite venue but seating is always a bonus and it's a convenient location for the most part. It really is just parking that sucks.

I give this place 4 stars! It is perfectly located just a little outside of Philadelphia. I went there for Chris Stepalton's concert. You can catch some beautiful views of the Benjamin Franklin bridge and some Philly skyscrapers. The inside is pretty well maintained, the lawn could use some geese poo cleaning, but with the lawn chairs available it was less noticeable after sunset! They have all kinds of fast food and drinks available, but be prepared to pay $$$$ . Beers start from 13 bucks but you get a $5 shots after that. So also be prepared to see a lot of drunk people lol.. the fries there were pretty good! The bathrooms are functioning and neat. Not too long lines which was great! The only sad/mad experience was that they make you park at least 4 blocks away and that also cost 30$ . Then when I parked and got to the entrance they said I can't carry my bag, the bag only had a picnic blanket. So had to go all the way back to put the bag in the car and walk back again. I was pretty upset at the time but the concert was fun. If you have t mobile the lawn chairs were free to rent. Not sure if it was just for this event. But that was very helpful. All in a pretty goo!

Iv been here for a few different concerts, on my most recent visit to the Luke Bryan concert, it was a cluster F waiting to go in to the arena. Guess I waited too long to head over to get through the lines, but when me and my boo went to get in line, it was a big crowd. There was no order or structure, whatsoever. They were only letting people who had TMobile plans in through the fast lanes, so the rest of us were packed in like cattle waiting to get in. By the time we actually got in, there had already been a few songs playing by one of the other acts I wanted to see. Other than the cluster in the beginning, when it came to the bathrooms, they were packed and it didn't seem like there were enough for the amount of crowds. They had some port a potties but they were also overcrowded. When it comes to the food and concessions, they were overpriced.

Section 200 row W seat 17 at the Dave Matthews concert!

I would definitely come back to this place considering how well everything was run at today's Dave Matthews Band concert. The venue has a covered area and behind it a lawn section. We were in Section 200 Row W seats 16 and 17 (the very last row of the covered area and stage left) and the views were decent considering the price of $180 total. Pros: ~Acceptable food and beer selection with Bud Light to Sam Adams, Blue Moon, Goose 312 IPA, and a couple local beers. Food selection was overpriced pizza, hot dogs, burgers, crab fries from Chickie's & Pete's, and what I got from Nico's Pizza: stromboli, which I would recommend consdering it's $10.50 and filling while a basic cheese slice is $8.50. ~Clean and well run unlike the city of Philadelphia. ~Nice selection of artists from Charlie Puth to Chris Stapleton. ~Public transportation is your best route out considering Lyft was dysfunctional and Uber was $60 for a 20 minute ride to Center City. Take the $1.40 ride from the PATCO City Hall station to Philly. It's a safe walk since it's around Rutgers Campus. Plus it's 15 minutes with a clean train and nice view of the Delaware River and Sugar House Casino running about every 30 minutes. Cons: ~Bottle neck at the entrances ~Long lines at the outside bathroom ~They should have more bathrooms a la the Wells Fargo Center

AMAZING TIME HERE!! So I wasn't so sure what to expect because Camden normally gets a bad wrap in the news however, I really wanted to see this concert. I have to say from beginning of getting there to the end- we had a lot of fun! Since there isn't really any parking here, we had to park in the parking lots on the street. We were very tempted to park on the streets but was then informed that the meters expire at 10pm. Once we found parking, we took a short Uber ride up to the Pavilion and then walked over from there. Although we were coming to a rap concert (Meek Mill, Future, YG &Megan the Stallions), the crowd was very diverse- which I absolutely love. We didn't stand in line very long as the staff was very efficient about moving things along. Since It is an indoor/outdoor space, the environment was perfect because the weather was very beautiful. The artist did a great job with their performance and the staff was super HELPFUL on directing us to our seats. Everything happened the way it was suppose to happen- the crowd was excited, the sound system was clear and it was great vibes all around. Overall, I have no complaints and although I didn't get a chance to try the food - I would definitely come to more concerts here in the future! PS- the parking closer to the venue was outrageous at $40 to park. We parked in the downtown area just a few short blocks away and only paid $10. The suggestion would be to get to the venue early and ride around for parking as the prices can be very high. I wouldn't take the chance parking on the street as some cars has parking tickets on them for expired meters and you needed a permit to park in most residential areas that we seen around there.

Been here a couple times now, overall an OK venue with some PITA things but, a solid place to catch a show. The biggest downside is the parking, $40 is absurd. Sure, you can find other parking elsewhere for maybe $20 but to charge that amount it's robbery. I paid less for my tickets than parking. It's Camden not Center City. Not to mention the parking is a few blocks away. The lawn is a dirt pit, I imagine if it rains that would be rather miserable. Also, you can bring chairs which could be a plus/minus depending on how you look at it. I find them annoying, it's a concert, stand up. But, I also wouldn't want to sit in the dirt. So your mileage may vary, you can also rent them. Beer/beverage is on point with every other concert venue on the planet. Same with food prices, newsflash, it's overpriced. But, service was pretty good last time we were there and they have crab fries. If you have T-Mobile there is a line to get in quicker, you can have up to 3 guests with you. Sound quality is pretty good as well as the screens for us peasants on the lawn. It's a bit of a hike for us but it's a nice venue overall.

I've been to the BBT Pavillion a few times (once when it was Susquehanna Bank Center for Gorillaz, last year for Foo Fighters and tonight for Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds and Smashing Pumpkins). Its not too bad of a venue. Being in Camden alone is a bit of a drawback as it isn't the nicest area, although being by the waterfront is nice. Parking is $40 which is a bit absurd, and leaving after the show is awful...it took us near an hour to leave Camden back to Philly after the Foos. There are plenty of places to eat and get food although with any entertainment venue (movies, sports, concerts) it is overpriced. T-shirts a bit as well, but I am always more lenient to them. Bathrooms are decent, plenty of stalls and sinks to get everyone in and out even if it will obviously get a bit dirtier as the night go on. As far as seating goes, the seated sections are food enough. The rows are a bit cramped together but it is worth the view. The lawn area is good if you have chairs or blankets, it is mostly dirt. Not too bad but it is very dependant on how the weather is that day. The view is manageable and they have screens, but it is arguably the best priced seats for a reason. I haven't tried any of the VIP stuff, cant comment on that. All in all, I don't mind the BBT Pavillion. I'm not fond of the area or traffic, but it is up to par and decent with any of the other big music venues around and it is worth a visit if someone you like is coming by!

traffic on the way to the VIP parking lot ... took approximately 30 minutes from 676 to the BB&T parking lot 1

Ask the Community - BB&T Pavilion

Should I bring a blanket for lawn seating?

Yes. We brought one of those zip up waterproof mats.

    River view deck?

The river view deck is actually nice. Awesome views of the sun setting over the Philly skyline and the Ben Franklin Bridge.

Contemplating taking an infant (with specialized earphones) on the lawn. Any advice?

Hmmmm, depends what type of concert it is. The music isn't the concern, it's the type of people and "smells" your child would be exposed to😉

Can I bring beach chairs if I have lawn seats?

They finally purchased new chairs this year and raised the rental to $10. You may bring your own "low profile" lawn chair (seat no more than 9 inches off the ground).

Why not a higher rating? They need more bathrooms - the lines are ridiculous since everyone goes during breaks.
