Great first lesson. Minor tweaks. Major improvement. Can't wait to get more lesson to see where my golf game will go.

My review is regarding the staff running the Non- Pro Shop. They are the biggest bunch of assholes…read moreI have ever seen. From the general non manager on down . When checking in our group was shorted a cart and the ass-hat at the register was adamant that he had given out all the carts necessary - quick clue - he hadn't. After arguing with him for ten minutes he finally gave me a cart and sent someone from the cart barn to check with our other groups. When complaining later and proving that we had not been given and extra cart, there was no apology forth coming, only smug indifference, no apologies from staff or the general manager who should at least be more concerned and responsive to customers. Definitely not a way to run a business. In this day and age when people want jobs they should all be fired. Untrained Monkees could do a better job. There only bright spot was the staff in the restaurant

Just because he can't afford it doesn't mean other people can't. Then the Marshal has no clue. We get teed off late then on hole 4 he is literally yelling at us that we are too f$&%ing slow. Tried to talk to him to no avail. Offered to let the people behind us go ahead but he just wanted to tell me how he is 80 and blah blah blah. He then babysits us for several holes. Very uncomfortable. But then you get to the back 9 where they don't even attempt to stop the 5 groups of kids walking across the course and fishing the lake. So now you have to worry about trespassing targets on the course. So he can yell at us for his starter starting us late but can't keep fishers off the course. Brilliant! The lady at the bar was amazing but the cook was bummed out she had to do her job both at the turn and after the round when we ordered food. Both times acting like a child she had to DO HER JOB and make the food we ordered. The golf course is great and challenging. Specially in comparison to tukwet across the street. It's a shame that a couple ass hats can ruin a great course and experience.

Golf Galaxy is the newest golf shop in town. It's located on Alabama and Almond, across the street…read morefrom Target and directly next to Eos gym. They also have locations in Upland and Pasadena. Parking is ample as it is in a huge lot with other establishments. The inside is really clean and huge! They have a wide selection of companies they carry in stock on the floor - Titleist, Callaway, Taylormade, etc. They also have a section for used items and some of the items look like new! In the back, they have a golf simulator where some people were there to hit some golf balls. They also have a section where you can customize your golf clubs and regrip them. It appears that they also offer golf lessons.

When I arrived to the Golf Galaxy I asked the registered representative (super nice girl) where do I need to go to make an appointment to get my irons re gripped, she instructed me to go in the far right corner of the building and someone will help me. As I arrived to the fitting dept the store was pretty dead, no rush hour. I was waiting for a few mins to get someone's attention at the fitting dept finally someone came out the back and the guy walked passed by me and didn't acknowledge or even greet me. Not even a "Hello I'll be with you in just a min" nothing. So I continued to look around the grip section to see what I wanted to purchase. I noticed the same guy that walked past me was in the middle of the isle next to the fitting dept talking to another associate and just mingling, not helping another customer. I walked up to him and asked nicely "Hello, do you work back here" he replied "Yes" but had smirk on his face as if I was bothering him. He finally went to the register and asked me "How can I help you?" I said "I'm looking to get my irons re gripped and get a new shaft for my driver" I asked "May I have your name" he said "my name is Hunter" I than asked Hunter if he had any recommendations on brands for a shaft? He really didn't seem enthusiastic to help just sat on his chair and continued to enter in all my information on his system. So I just proceeded to look at what they had and went with the same brand I originally had on my driver. Normally with this service I would've just left but I was planning to head out to a golfing trip and turn around was pretty fast (24 hours) I wish I would've caught the gentleman's name when I picked up my clubs because he was more friendlier and seemed to that he was willing to help. Hunter, I didn't feel like the level of customer service matched what I was expecting. It came across a bit dismissive. I'm sharing this because good customer service makes a huge difference, especially in a place where people are looking for guidance and expertise. Taking a little extra time to listen, engage, and be approachable can really improve the experience for customers. I hope you take this constructively and use it as an opportunity to improve. Thanks for hearing me out.
