I don't golf so I can't comment on the holes, but I'd like to write this review on the venue. I've been here quite a few times now, both as a guest, and a host at the event space and it's just been a wonderful experience each time. It's a large space for weddings, retirement parties, quinceañeras, etc. I've been here and seen photo booths, full bars, large dance floors, charcuterie setups, buffet setups, taco men, large candy buffets, etc. and they all fit well into their large ballroom and outside patio. The patio is beautiful, it overlooks the range. They allow you to have access to their bridal suite as the host. They offer a beverage service, a setup and clean up service, open bars, linens, tables and chairs, it's really a full operation. It makes it so easy to host an event here. It's really a beautiful ballroom space where I've made many wonderful memories. read more

Don't waste your time or money! Just left after 13 holes because of how slow and unresponsive this course! Played the front 9 with no one in front of us in 90 minutes, the starter said "it's wide open" After finishing the front it the took us 90 minutes to play 4 holes! I called the pro shop to ask if they could at least send someone out to speed up pace of play because there wasn't anyone else on the course, to which they replied "well our guy is clean picking so I'll try to send someone out." Your staffing isn't my problem, I pay the same price whether you have 20 or 2 staff members! I don't expect any sort of response because it's clear they don't care! Don't spend your money here there's plenty of other great courses in the area. read more

I've played this course back the day when it was previously owned and I have now played it with Morongo running the course. Two different tales. Back in the day it was pristine for sure. Now, well it is still in decent shape. The fairways were beautiful and the rough wasn't too punitive. The greens are in great condition, but they are harder than hell to read. Very confounding. The bunkers are a mess. They basically have no sand, just ground rocks (almost like DG). Simple fix, don't hit it into the bunkers. Overall, value for the money as far as golf is concerned, not bad $75 for an 11am Saturday tee time. As for the restaurant, we didn't get to experience that because it was closed after our round. And yes, after reading other reviews, the pace of play is much slower than most courses, but I can honestly say I don't usually golf weekends just for that reason, so it may have been on-par with other courses on a Saturday. read more

Does this course still have a marshal? I've lived here for 15 years and never had issues with errant balls and the nearest Hole is a par 3, almost opposite of the tee. Of the 15 years, I've all of a sudden found 5 balls in my yard, all in the last year, with damaged stucco and broken roof tiles. Who are they allowing on the holes? Their customers and the course wont be held liable over their own negligence... Be careful if you're a competent player. You'll be playing amongst idiots. read more

Our son recently got married here. We could not be more satisfied with our experience. The wedding was outside the event hall over looking the pond on the golf course and the reception was in the event hall. The main dish was from outside catering, but the hor d' oeuvres/appetizers were provided by the venue and they were all great! The venue also provided the midnight snack of bacon wrapped hot dogs. The bar had great prices and the food was a great deal too. The venue staff were so accomodating and pleasant. Monica coordinated everything. Her kindness, understanding, and patience made everything run smoothly. We can't thank her enough. Highly recommend this venue. Monica is a wonderful asset to Tukwet read more

Very nice courses however they book tee times so close, you will never finish a round unless you start before 8:00 AM. It's all about the money I guess. I have been here a few times and often leave after the first 9 because the 10th is backed up with multiple groups. read more

The course is great. However the pace of play and the tee time spacing make it almost impossible to play. Not a Marshall to be seen to keep the slow groups moving fast. Hard to say I'll be back. They have to make some changes. read more

Slowest round of golf I've ever played. Took 3 hours to play 9 holes. Called pro shop to complain when there were 3 groups waiting to tee off on the second hole. They said there was no marshall but they would try to send someone to look into why it was so backed up. No one ever came. Left after 9 holes because it was torture to wait 20 minutes on every hole. Driving back to the clubhouse we saw one group was 2 entire holes behind and another group was one hole behind. Unacceptable to have such a slow pace of play. Tried to complain but the pro shop was already closed at 3pm. Don't waste your time or money playing here. read more

I recently played the Morongo Golf Club Legends course for a charity golf tournament to raise funds for education and scholarships and I had a blast. It was my first time here and after playing 18 holes, I would definitely return to play here again. The course has a great layout and there are some exciting holes. I had high hopes for a spectacular low scoring round however, my inconsistent putting and short game mistakes prevented me from achieving "golf legend" player status, but I still had fun playing. The fairways are wide, the greens are fast and undulating, and there are many beautiful scenic views to enjoy from the tee boxes. The tournament staff and customer service were excellent. The clubhouse and facilities were very clean, and the parking lot is huge. The food, drinks and appetizers were all delicious and plentiful. The tournament was a huge success and raised money to help to schools and families who can't afford private school tuition. read more

The WWP (Wounded Warrior Project) had an event here for disabled military vets. There was about 15 vets who participated in this event to play at this location. Once I arrived I saw that it was in a beautiful location, and once driving up to the main clubhouse it had a huge parking area. Once inside I walked around and took a look at their bathroom, bar and also their pro-shop. The pro-shop was a little smaller than most, and I wasn't greeted or asked if I needed help with anything until I walked up to the register. I then bought a bucket of balls to practice before my fellow vets arrived. Everything is issued downstairs (under the pro-shop) which I had to find out myself. I walked to the driving range and found out that you need to pick up the balls under the pro-shop, and also everything else (scorecards, carts, rentals, ext.) once at the driving range you didn't really know where to hit balls from. People were hitting up front, middle, and back, I'm guessing wherever the best patch of grass to hit from. Once playing the course it was nice. Great fairways and greens. The course wasn't too difficult. The only issue was signs to identify the next hole, and hole numbers. There wasn't anything identifying if we were at the right hole or hole direction markers to the next tee. 3 stars were given to this location mostly due to the customer service. read more

I would rate 0 stars. Played 1 hole in 50 minutes. Came back to the pro shop and was told they will not do anything. After speaking with the golf pro a little more he understood and agreed that it would not be pleasant today and offered vouchers. In my opinion this is the best course in the Redlands/ San Bernardino area. It's been around for a while but is still in nice condition. The carts are nice with touch screens and Bluetooth to sync to your phone. In our round of golf we saw the cart girl at least 4 times which was nice. The cost to play here on a Friday morning was $62 a person. IMO a great value for what you get. Fairways and greens were nice some sand traps were filled with water. That's really my only complaint. The Marshall was super nice and did a great job of managing the pace read more

Without a doubt this is the worst golf practice facility I have ever seen. Driving range had gopher holes everywhere, no level ground to hit off of and no grass. You can tell they don't put any effort in the range or putting greens. I certainly hope the course doesn't reflect the appearance of the club house, golf shop or practice facility. Played course yesterday. Greens are pretty nice and well maintained. The one puzzling thing I encountered was every sand trap and waste areas were nothing but weed filled and filled with algae water. Curious for a course this nice. You really cannot make a shot out of them. More people would play here if course was maintained better. read more

I will give the golf course 4.5 Stars but the clubhouse staff are very rude and lazy. I played a round and then after we went to the clubhouse at 3:30. Kitchen is closed bar lady said she is closing too. Dude it's summer time stay open make $$$ why close 40 mins early when golfers want to relax and eat/drink. I'd give this place zero stars if I could. Place was mildly overbooked, each hole was backed up. On one hole, a ball flew by us. The group behind hit up on us. My bud raised his hand, and he got a loud "eff you." The golfer kept arguing through many holes. When we pointed out the backup, he still argued. Then told us "I'm an employee by the way" apparently saying shut up. We called to have a manager come out, and we got the run around. They refused to get us in contact with a manager or transfer us to his office. Avoid this place unless you want to be treated like trash. We asked for his name, and he blatantly lied. read more

the course is in good condition but the staff are incompetent. Every time I've played here there has been some type of issue either with the cart, with the starter, or even trying to get ahold of the pro-shop to report pace of play issues which you can't do because they're phone number isn't even linked to them. You're better off spending your money at a course that cares about the golfers and less about where they can save money. read more

Had Our Monthly Tournament Going On Here On March 5th 2023. Played The Champions Course, It Has Always Been A Hard Course But Enjoyable To Play. I Had Been Shooting Not So Good The Entire Round, But On Hole #15 Par 3 147Yards With My 8 Iron Teeing Off The Blues. Something AMAZING Happened For The 2nd Time Since I've Started Playing Golf 4 Years Ago... I Hit A Hole In ONE, Luckily I Had My Buddies All There To Witness It Happen. I Was Able to Get My Hole-In-One Certificate Through Their Website, But I Honestly Feel Like They've Coulda Done More. Possibly A COMPLEMENTARY ROUND ON THEM . I Guess We'll See! read more

We played the Legends course today and it is in terrible condition! The bunkers are either mud or solid dirt. There is no sand in any of the bunkers for the entire 18 holes. Fairways are average with lots of gopher holes on the perimeter. On the positive side, the greens are outstanding and difficult. I have played this golf course since it was a PGA course and I no longer recommend it. I expect better of Morongo! I suggest Oak Quarry as an alternative. read more

Weekday golf at its finest here at Tukwet Canyon/East Valley Golf Club! Book through www.golfnow.com and you can find a pretty good deal with cart and free range balls. We played the Champions course and wasn't disappointed. The round was pretty quick even though we had a bunch of hackers in front of us. The course itself didn't play too hard, or too easy for that matter. Lots of bunkers and tight fairways and nasty rough that'll eat your ball up. Fast and new electric carts, nice driving range with new range balls and where you'll be hitting off the real grass. Larger putting and chipping greens. Nice clubhouse with a pretty good breakfast that was served super fast. Greens in pretty good condition, fairways weren't bad but the rough was nasty!!!! Good luck finding your ball, you will however find the other lost golf balls in there. Plenty of parking, 2 courses (36 holes), but a bit of a drive from LA! Some of the clubhouse amenities were still be remodeled since the Morongo Casino took over. read more

4 1/2 stars. Renamed Tukwet Canyon Golf club, This facility was purchased by the Morongo Casino about 8 months ago. From what I was told the previous owner really let this place deteriorate. Improvements are taking place on the club house, parking lot has been repaved, there are new golf carts and the two courses were in good shape with the exception of the sand traps could use some work. What's awesome about these courses is that the temperature is about 15* cooler then Palm Springs and you have 36 holes of golf to enjoy at one location. I played the Champions course on Thursday and the Legends on Friday. Your paid tee time gets you unlimited access of the grass driving range, practice chipping & putting area and there's even a practice bunker area. No extra fees for range balls like some of those stuffy OC courses! The courses are challenging and I thought the Champions course was more difficult but both had undulating fast greens, deep sand traps and if your off the fairway expect thick rough and uneven lies to hit out of. In time and with some additional money spent, I can see this place being a superb place to come play golf, have a meal or plan a social function. I really enjoyed Tukwet Golf facility and I'll definitely be back again. read more

Called for three days to talk to anyone in the pro shop and no one has been available morning noon or night. Terrible customer service. Not to mention that the courses are degrading more each year. It used to be a great place to play but it's going down hill fast. Players are also a more motley bunch. read more

Serve hot food, use coffee cups not paper unless requested, use silverware for dining, better service and not serve on metal trays. Everything went downhill after pandemic, we want a nice country club we can be proud of to bring our friends and family. read more

What a major disappointment this course has become. Played the Legends course for a friend's tournament today. Not one bunker had sand in it. The fairways are muddy and overwatered. We used tukwet as our wedding venue. Thanks to the coordinator Bree everything was beautiful and turned out exactly the way we envisioned it. The food was the talk of the night, everyone loved their dinner & we were so happy! The servers and the bartenders did an amazing job keeping everyone happy! For the wedding guest count being 217 things could of gotten way out of hand but everything was absolutely perfect! I would definitely recommend this venue! I'm not big on golf, however the course was a bit shabby. The restaurant service was AWFUL. The man who originally seated us was alright but not very attentive. The short woman with blonde hair who took over was horrible. Very rude demeanor and made us feel unwelcome. Their internet was down and they weren't able to charge my card initially and that really brought out an ugly side in her. I ended up having to dispute with my bank because they double charged me for an amount I didn't approve. Will not be back based on this experience. read more

It's been a while since we ere here! Attended the Chamber of Commerce Installation and dinner. Service was fantastic, the facility was clean. Food was served buffet style but was tasty and looked appetizing! While this was a closed event, staff was pleasant and food well prepared Would recommend this venue for any event. read more
