Had a great time out on the course this past week. It was and remains unusually hot for this time…read moreof year but hey, the world is getting warmer and the climate is changing. We came on a Tuesday for a 9:20 AM tee time and the course was busy already. However, we teed off right on time and, because it was our first time, probably played a slower round but still finished under 4 and half hours with no one in front of us. If you are new, it is helpful to have at least seen the course map to get a general idea of where to go as this is a course with three different 9s. We played creek and Stonehouse and they were both solid. The course was in nice condition and it seem like someone pissed off the superintendent of the course because the greens were fast and it seemed like every hole was on a slope With a cart, the round was roughly a hundred bucks a person which, seems to match the going rate these days to play a round of golf. This was with a seperate cart fee so that's something to be mindful about. This is a course I have passed by on the 15 for years and I'm glad I had a chance to play it. Definitely worth checking out at least once.

The worker in the pro shop and starter were both real friendly & the starter was giving us a bunch of tips on the course layout since it was our first time. The course layout itself wasn't too challenging, the fairways were pretty wide . Pace of play was great (we started at 6:50am). I would say that there were a few tee boxes that were flat out dirt... and there were many patches of dirt along numerous fairways.

I went to this driving range on a Thursday afternoon around 3 PM to practice for a tournament the…read morenext day, and the experience was completely unacceptable. I was told I needed to wear a collared shirt just to hit balls at the driving range--something I've never encountered at any range. This is not a Country Club nor was I playing a round on the actual course. There was also no place outside to set golf clubs, so I brought mine inside, only to be scolded by an employee in a way that was rude and completely unnecessary. It was embarrassing and unprofessional. The tone and treatment I received were disrespectful from the start. I left feeling singled out and uncomfortable, and I can't ignore the possibility that I was being unfairly profiled. To make matters worse, the facility itself is run down and poorly maintained, which makes the strict attitude toward customers even more ridiculous. I work for a prominent golf brand and have spent a lot of time at courses and ranges--this was easily one of the worst customer service experiences I've had. I have been in the golf industry for 25 years. I will absolutely be sharing this experience with others. Avoid this place if you expect even basic respect as a customer. TCI will continue to get my business as well as all of my golf connections.

Love that kind of customer service. The check-in process was quick and easy and then it was off to the practice facilities. From the driving range, chipping area, which included well kept bunkers, and the putting green, it was incredible. Some of the nicer practice facilities I've seen. As for the course itself, it was in really good shape. Not gonna lie, not knowing the course, it chewed me up pretty good. People who knew the course definitely had the advantage that day. There are a ton of elevation changes, elevated tees, and the greens were quick. It took me a while, but I finally started rolling putts much better on the back nine. I would love to blame the course for my high score that day, but I know better. Lol. In full transparency, at times a few holes felt gimmicky, but I think that just comes down to my own personal preference. It's an expensive golf course but you are getting a quality golf experience when playing at Journey. The GPS on our cart did not work for the front nine which was a bummer, but when we made the turn, they happily traded carts for us and got us up and running. The staff really did make this course stand out. I'd be happy to play there again.

So enough with the stupid 1-2. star reviews about how you were driving by and a ball hit your truck. Or how you don't like the starter. Stop with the crying about nothing and go hit some balls. And go to their new driving facility. Brand new top notch!

We went to the bar and got a few drinks with ice for the round. The course was very well taken care of! There was maintenance being completed but they were very nice when we would hit and go around us without interfering. There was a few hole with really nice views and getting around the course was clear and honestly very fun. The only small issue we had was the cart locking on us randomly but it would usually fix in a few seconds. Overall, a great course with a few hazards. Very fun place to play

This has greatly improved my ball contact and trajectory. Isaac is both very patient and knowledgeable, being able to work with students at any skill level and age.
