We waited in the lobby for 15 minutes and the receptionist received 5 calls. Each were on speaker phone and we could hear the patients first and last name and what they were going through. I highly doubt that they would want to know that they were on speaker phone during a medical call. This was an immediate red flag. The doctor is nice. Seems pretty knowledgeable and knows what he's talking about. Just a nice guy. Would recommend him!! Been here twice now and the woman that checks people out and goes over all of the instructions for the colonoscopy is kind as well. Stars are based on receptionist violating hipaa

Warning: Extremely Negligent and Unresponsive Gastroenterology Office…read more I had a very disappointing and dangerous experience with Dr. Daniel Eshaghian at United Gastroenterologists in Encino. After undergoing a colonoscopy and speaking directly with Dr. Daniel, he promised to prescribe follow-up medication for H. pylori. That was over two weeks ago--I have received no prescription, no follow-up call, and no report despite calling their office more than 10 times and leaving multiple messages. I am now experiencing bloody stool, stomach pain, and bloating, and this office has completely ignored my urgent medical condition. It feels like they perform procedures just to bill insurance, and then leave patients without proper care or communication. This level of negligence is unacceptable and could put someone's life at risk. If you care about your health, I strongly advise you to avoid this office. I will be reporting this to the Medical Board of California and insurance fraud division if I do not receive proper documentation or care. Patients deserve better.

The last time I was inpatient was when my tonsils were removed when I was 4 years old. Until 2 years ago, I wasn't even taking any Rx medication. Needless to say, my anxiety level was sky high. The atmosphere in the office was super chill. The guy who took my insurance information was pleasant. It took less than 10 minutes from the time I arrived until Dr. Sach walked in to the exam room. He explained all about the procedure and the prep. He didn't try to downplay the nature of the prep but explained how important it was for me to get it right. Our visit didn't end until he was sure that any questions I had were answered. The person who set up the date for the procedure was also very nice. She explained where I would have the procedure done (right down the hall from the office), what time to arrive, and what time I could expect to leave. She then directed me to someone who would deal with my prep medications. Again, I was greeted warmly and with a smile. I could purchase the meds from the office or do my own shopping at the pharmacy. It seemed easiest to just do it at the office. I was handed a gold gift bag with the meds and prep instructions. Everyone I met reiterated that I should call if I had any questions or concerns. I'll update this review once my procedure is complete. I can't say that I'm looking forward to it, but Dr. Sach and his office staff did a great job at alleviating most of my fears.

One of the single most bizarre office visits I have ever experiences, and it was for my 12 year old…read moreson. Dr. Collins speaks in short, clipped sentences, seeming both rushed and dismissive at the same time. She becomes exasperated if you don't automatically comprehend her quickly uttered sentences. For example, she asked in rapid speech: "Does he sit?" I answered, unsure of her meaning (and wildly uncomfortable after a few minutes of her demeanor) "I suppose he sits before and after school." I thought it was a physical fitness question. Then she said, almost angrily: "No. Does he sit on the TOILET?" I laughed to break the tension, but the entire thing was really uncomfortable. The worst part is that my son grew more and more tense until his eyes were huge, and when she left the room for a minute he said to me, whispering: "She's mean, I wanna go home." In the end, we learned absolutely nothing from the visit. Also, the office staff behaves just as Dr. Collins does, acting as if you are really bothering them. They deal with you in a manner that is incredibly rushed, and they are very bothered by answering any questions. Strangely, we were their first patient of the morning, and there was no one else in the waiting room as we left. I urge you to find someone else with a bedside manner (especially because she deals with CHILDREN, and even as an adult the experience was awful), this visit was overwhelmingly bad in every way..

Her follow up is excellent - I cannot iterate how much I appreciate the zillions of emails back/forth where I described my daughter's poop over and over. She is thorough, direct but kind, and excellent at what she does. Thank you Dr. Collins!
