To assist the patient in problem solving? Ridiculous .. Luckily Lourdes was the manager as I had to ask for her myself and I did receive treatment and resolved the issue. The worst past was Janelle still had audacity to talk back to her manager after her manager told her to calm down.. just wow This receptionist can benefit from therapy to process her behavior towards others . I feel so bad for the elders that come here as she probably mistreats them and they unfortunately are limited whether through Spanish spealing or also for lack of advocacy

When a patient comes into my clinic (regards of distance), time is respected. Today after waiting for 3 hours, I left. This is just bad business. The staff stated that after 1 hour that the doctor is running late, they then said after 2 hours that he is coming soon . But at the 3rd hour (whether or not I took the time off from work ) this is just disrespectful. Here's a hint to the clinician: hire a partner or partners, save the integrity of your business. Another patient said that she was waiting for 4 hours, I can't. Not in 2025....

Be very careful with billing transparency at this office. We scheduled a routine eye exam and…read moreprovided vision insurance. During the visit, retinal imaging was recommended and we were explicitly told that if it was done that day, it would be covered under the routine vision exam. After the exam was completed, we were informed that the visit was billed as a medical exam, resulting in unexpected out-of-pocket charges due to our medical deductible. Medical insurance was not discussed or verified until after the visit. Only after requesting further information did we receive the billing and diagnosis codes used to justify medical billing. None of the documented diagnoses were discussed with the patient during the exam, nor was it explained that a medical condition was being evaluated or that billing would change as a result. The issue is not the clinical care, but the lack of transparency and misleading communication around insurance coverage and diagnoses. Patients deserve clear, upfront explanations before testing is performed. Based on this experience, we would not return.

The first charge made sense - it was for my co-pay which is clearly shown on my insurance card. As I was leaving I was told I needed to pay an additional amount for the "medical portion". The medical portion was apparently seeing the doctor for approximately 5 minutes; it was the shortest amount of time I have spent with an optometrist. This was after going thru a series of four brief tests with an assistant. I called my insurance company and the representative agreed it was not correct. The takeaway was not to go back again. Disappointing because the first time I was there the experience and care were terrific. Seems like they have new practitioners.

Outside of the elevator, no one greeted back after trying to ask questions. Finally found a place. This place needs to renovate to attract more patients. I also waited bloodwork more than 30min and at the front was about to leave... :( luckily, I've made another appointment. If you're coming here for appointment 1st time, try to be there at least 15-20min earlier to find out your office. if you're coming in afternoon; after 3pm, they're running quite late: like I mentioned that bloodwork. Make sure to make next appointment while you're waiting, everyone leave 5pm sharp. waiting room is available on the first floor Inc vending machine. But I highly recommend to bring your it own snack if you can. In the neighborhood, it's hard to find something to grab unless you can go to 95-93rd street.

The call center has no idea what they are doing and book wrong appt on wrong dates. I come in for a mamo follow uo and the front desk badgers about insurance. After getting changed and ready to see the tech the tech says they scheduled you a month too early. We count from January and not December when your last appt was. Does not even make sense!! This happened to another persok as I was in the waiting room as well. Last week I had to wait over 1.5h to be seen for a pelvic ultrasound and their excuse oh the system had a glitch. You are seeing me wait!! Horrible and sich lack of service!! Oh front desk response to when I said I am changing hospital. Everyone is equally bad as Mt Sinai
