This dentist is not the place to go. They were nice to me and seemed professional but made me daughter very uncomfortable. When in the room together they spoke to me about what they were going to do but when she was in the room alone she said they ignored her concerns. My cousin had the same experience, they are unprofessional and do not take criticism well. They are on the pricier side and I will say they did do a good cleaning. Always felt warmly welcomed at this place. He fixed so many things from my previous dentist and has much better equipment such as that amazing small camera for the back teeth. Had a recently done crown come off (from my precious dentist) and Dr. Garcia put it back or replace it (I forget how) saying it should stay for decades. And I believe him. My family and I have been going to Dr. Garcia's office for around 15 years (maybe more) and we have nothing but amazing things to say! Dr. Garcia and his entire family and staff are all so professional, welcoming, knowledgeable, and kind. The office is also extremely clean and they have the fastest service as well. I recently went through a scary experience earlier this year where I thought I might lose a tooth and Dr. Garcia was EXTREMELY kind and helpful throughout all of it. He referred me to about five specialists and even talked to my mom and dad outside of the office hours to give us all peace of mind. This wasn't unusual of course, since Dr. Garcia and his staff have never been anything less than above and beyond. I have been going to Dr. Garcia for as long as I can remember and all my siblings and parents go to him. I had grown up in Downey and moved to Riverside sometime in 2008-2009. I went to him right before I could no longer be covered by my parent's insurance. Now as an almost 30 year old I had finally went back to see a dentist that was closer to Riverside and did not like anyone there. I go to Dr. Garcia as an adult and make the drive from Riverside to Downey and will continue to go because he works with your insurance and has very friendly staff. Dr. Garcia will always talk through things with you and is very professional when it comes to treatment and diagnosis. He isn't one of those major dentist groups but a family dentist who is honest. I went on 9-15-16 because my insurance was giving me the run around and the other dentists I've met made me feel awful for the damage I've created. With Dr. Garcia that wasn't the case. He was very kind and explained everything very well. Answered all my questions and genuine to get to know the reasons why I've had these problems. And the best part of it all is that I felt very comfortable, yes was a bit nervous but I knew this is who I want to be my dentist. So I went for an exam and the next week which is today 9-22-16 I came into get two teeth extractions and bone graft. The procedure was painless! And quick. Loved how he made sure he did his job correctly and was to his liking. Within an hour it was all done. And made sure I was well throughout the procedure. I'm petrified of the dentist. Well, not so much now that I found Dr. Garcia. I told him right off the bat that I was phobic and he did his darndest to put me at ease. He is professional and personable and was very patient with me. He told me what he was doing at every step of the way. You would think I wanted the ordeal finished with already! Having him talk to me and tell me what was going on really felt like I had a friend in there. His staff is equally accommodating, very nice and professional. He only takes PPO insurance so check before going. He also ONLY uses the white filling stuff instead of the silver filling because of the mercury. My insurance didn't cover it and Dr. Garcia worked with me to cover the cost. (I am a mess as my phobia got in the way of visiting a dentist in 10+ years!) All in all, I'm happy that I found Dr. Garcia. I'll be going back...but I think I'll wait the full six months first. LOL! read more

Although my wife Yvette loved his personable demeanor, I am here to WARN everyone to BEWARE of their BILLING PRACTICES!! PLEASE REQUEST AN ITEMIZED BILLING STATEMENT AFTER EVERY VISIT!! They will bill you for one item and submit another to your insurance. They DO NOT tell you up front what the cost of your procedures are but say "It's covered by your insurance." They make you pay up front for your procedures saying it is your co-pay, then bill your insurance and DOUBLE DIP on your procedures! They are most likely involved in insurance fraud and I have reported them to www.insurance.ca.gov. read more
