Although it was still tough to find street parking, it wasn't horrible. I ended up parking a block away behind the Google Fiber building in a parking deck. Once you walk the block to the studio, it's right across from Snoopy's. Their studio is the first one when you walk into the Carter building. Melissa S. (the owner & creator of Front Row Cosmetics) is so amazing and full of life! Everytime I see her, she greats you with a huge smile and she starts talking with you like she's known you for years. Front Row Cosmetics are definitely worth the buy. I now have their Bronzer as well as her amazing "Liquid to Matte" lipstick, color: "Sexy". I also appreciate the staff working in the makeup area, as I needed a refresh on my foundation, and they worked with me to find a good match for my skin tone and the MAC brand which is reasonably priced (for foundations). They also have a Brow Bar which I'm looking forward to trying one day. In my previous review I complained about empty shelves and lack of products and pricing, but I haven't had any problems in those areas lately. Be careful of any high-pressure sales pitches on expensive items, if you want to say no, just say no. :-)

She also found a tinted lip balm that almost perfectly matched the color of the other brand of lipstick that I use (because I love the color, but it kept breaking). We also discussed eye liners and the different colors that would look good on me. She helped me pick out two colors I would never have picked on my own. During check out I noticed the eye shadow brushes. She and I discussed the different brushes and I ended getting two (2) of them. Lauren was a pleasure to work with and I am glad I stopped in that day. She was knowledgeable and patient. I will definitely return to this location. I had a second opportunity to work with Lauren when I called the store to inquire about a different facial moisturizer. She was just as helpful this time, too. I ended up getting the moisturizer, more of the tinted lip balm, and another eye shadow brush. She was just as friendly and knowledgeable during this over the phone transaction and she was during my visit to the store. Very customer oriented.

Unfortunately, my experience changed completely after that. After my first call, I began communicating with Rachel. I had inquired specifically about a breast augmentation with implants and a lift. After the doctor reviewed my photos, Rachel called and explained that he was instead recommending a different procedure that would cost roughly $10,000 more than what I had originally asked about. I was very clear that I understood the recommendation but still wanted a quote for the procedure I had actually inquired about. Despite repeatedly explaining what I wanted, I could not get a straightforward quote for it. Instead, the conversation continued to revolve around the more expensive procedure they were recommending. The entire process ended up wasting about a month that I could have spent consulting with other surgeons. Being highly rated was one of the reasons I initially felt so confident reaching out, but my experience left me feeling like what I actually wanted was not being taken into consideration. What bothered me most was that liposuction was also brought up even though I had never inquired about it. When someone is already discussing cosmetic surgery and putting themselves in a vulnerable position by sending photos of their body, suggesting additional procedures they never expressed concern about can feel incredibly unnecessary and insecurity-inducing. I completely understand a surgeon making professional recommendations, and I would expect them to tell me if they believe another approach would produce a better result. But there is a difference between making a recommendation and refusing to meaningfully discuss or quote the procedure a patient is actually asking for. Unfortunately, I walked away from this experience feeling unheard, pressured toward a significantly more expensive procedure, and more insecure than I did when I started.

It's been a consistently poor experience over the last 6 years but it's gotten worse in the last…read moreseveral months. I call well in advance (6 days) to ensure the mediation needed is in stock because it's frequently not. I wait on the phone for over an hour to be told they will order it to ensure it will be in stock. Fast forward 5 days later and I can't seem to get anyone on the phone. I wait 2 hours on hold only to be hung up on because of lunch break. The next day I go to the store inside (as soon as they open) to be greeted with 8 other angry customer in similar situations. After waiting 20 mins in the store I am told the medication is still not in stock and it will be here the next day. I finally get the medication by the pharmacist transferring the RX to another Walgreens. If I didn't ask to speak to the pharmacist they would have turned me away again. I only agreed to this because after 6 days of trying to get the medication filled I was completely out at this point. Do better Walgreens!
