Had an amazing morning at Dania Beach, for sunrise. Love, how well maintain Dania Beach and parking lot is. On this property there are many restrooms available. Kudos to the Park Rangers and Mgt at Dania Beach for the beautiful and clean beach.

Dania Beach is not an international hot spot but is known for Jackson's Ice Cream Parlor, antique shops and casinos. The beach blends into the north end of Hollywood Beach and has a limited nightlife. The beach has a Quarterdeck restaurant, Lucky Fish bar, Dania Pier and the Mizell-Eula Johnson State Park. The beach is only a ten minute drive from the Ft Lauderdale airport or Port Everglades.

My second time at this beach in a year. It was cold during my first visit, so today is a refreshingly hot & humid kinda day. I love this beach because it's clean and there are lots of areas to setup a place and park it for some relaxation time. Parking on the other hand is a bit of a nightmare, but if you sit and wait long enough a space will open up. DO NOT leave your car in the "no parking" areas as a parking enforcement officer is actively on patrol. I witnessed the patrol officer leave violations on 6 different vehicles that were parked illegally. Overall, I highly recommend this location if you're looking for some beach time. I'm sure I'll return again later this fall. ENJOY!

We really enjoyed ourselves at this beach. It was a beautiful day on Sunday, but there weren't multitudes of people while we were there between noon and 3:00 pm. It was just right. The beach looks well cared for and not junky. There are ample metered parking spots, just steps from the beach. The awesome Quarterdeck restaurant sits right at the beginning of the pier over the water with fabulous ocean views! There is good fishing at the end of the pier. The pier is easy to walk on. The beach looks clean and ready for the beachgoers. It is knee-high deep in the water for quite a distance. There were paddleboarders out there also. All age groups were having fun. We want to go back soon.

The beach was beautiful, but finding parking was a hassle. We had to pay for parking in a hotel cause thats where the GPS took us and walk from the garage to the car and we got lost.

Located close to the Ft. Lauderdale airport, you can never go wrong with the beaches of Dania. There is a marina so you can arrive by boat or car. Parking is plentiful in the pay lot for $3.15 an hour. The beach is only steps away from the parking lot. There are many lifeguard stations ensuring swimmers safety. After enjoying the water and sun you can grill and picnic in Frank "Tootie" Adler Park. If you don't want to bring in food you can dine at the Quarterdeck restaurant on the pier which has some of my favorite water front dining in Broward County. For a nominal fee you can walk or fish off of the pier from which you can see the cruise ships of port Everglades off in the distance. Dania has even more beaches at nearby Dr. Von D. Mizell-Eula Johnson State Park. The park has a $6 entrance fee. There is hiking trails, a cafe, and kayak rentals. When you are thinking of a relaxing day of sand and surf, seas the day in Dania!

Beautiful beach just a few miles from the Fort Lauderdale airport. Water is crystal clear aqua blue and the sand is powdery white and so soft. Such a nice place to spend a few hours. Walk along the beach or play in the waves. Go to the pier for a better view. Parking is very reasonable. Use the app to pay. Just $2 an hour. The pier is $2 to walk and $3 to fish.

Some of the closest beach parking I've ever found! I think I took 23 steps to land from my parking spot onto the beach. Water was really close as well. Perfect day in January with turquoise waves lapping the shore and a bright blue sky with puffy white clouds over the horizon. Really nice guy named Frank who works over at the marina gave us some pointers around the area. Floridians are some of the friendliest people you'll ever meet! I highly recommend this beach because of the location and it is a little bit more calm and cheaper than South Beach or some of the other beaches. The parking situation cannot be beat.

Visitng down south for a wedding , and came to Dania beach as it was the closest beach. The weather was beautiful and definitely worth going! The beach wasn't crowded and I like that it wasn't a long walk to water compared to New Jersey beaches. They do have a parking lot but you need to pay for parking. The beach is free to go on of course. They do have a shower spickit to rinse off any excess sand. The only issue I had was I kept getting a lot of red ants on my towel and I moved a times but I defiantly got bit a few times and a ant bite definitely itches a ton which I didn't know.

My favorite beach in the Fort Lauderdale area! Parking is super easy, at $3.15 an hour for 2 hours max which you can easily extend on the app. And it's only steps away from the beach. We snagged a great spot and had an enjoyable afternoon. Despite being able to bring food and drinks the beach is very clean. I was happy to see no litter. Dogs aren't allowed either. We didn't walk down to the pier (I was not going to pay even $2 to walk the pier) when the beach was lovely and I could walk there for free. We had an enjoyable afternoon and will be back.

A nice beach with fine light colored sand. Lots of lifeguard stations, a huge fishing pier, restrooms, body and foot showers, and a huge close parking lot that goes on forever. The beach isn't deep, so you are very close to the water. Be careful as it can be rough. As you swim out, it gradually gets deeper. There wasn't that much seaweed, in October anyway.

Ugh, I love this beach. This has always been our go to beach. I love that it is more family friendly. Not having a boardwalk makes it to be a more quite beach. They do have one restaurant on the pier for those looking not to lug around a cooler with a bunch of things. Quarterdeck is open and have seating available for those looking to eat before or after their beach day. The pier is currently open for those interested in walking or fishing. However, you do have to pay to go out onto the pier. The parking lot has meters for you pay by the hour. On the beach Itself, there were lifeguards on duty and if you get there early enough little tiki huts to use. This was our first beach outing this summer given the circumstances of everything. Everyone kept a safe distance from one another which is why I like the beach, you can choose your space and not have to worry about being too close to others. The water was amazing!!! Completely seaweed free and the tide was so low. The water was nice and warm and the weather was just perfect. If you're looking for a nice quite day at the beach with little traffic, this is the beach for you.

Keating Beach Park is off the beaten path at the far north end of the Hollywood Boardwalk. This park was named in honor of former Hollywood Mayor David Keating. He served as a City Commissioner and Mayor from 1961 to 1986. In 1963 he took a walk on this stretch of beach and it cemented in his mind that it should remain public. For the next two decades he led the fight to save this strip of beach from Sheridan Street to the Hollywood-Dania Beach line from Hollywood Inc., a development company that claimed they owned it, not the city. On September 4, 1981, the Fourth District Court of Appeal sided with the city and decided that the 1.5 mile of beach belonged to the city. Anyone who uses the beach here today has David Keating to thank. Today Keating Beach Park is under construction. It looks like there is structural damage to the pavilion and it is fenced off. There is no parking in this area either. The restrooms are closed and the slide is gone. Still the beach remains a glorious wide strip on sundrenched sand. This area is frequented more by locals than tourists. Here is to hopping that Hollywood gets the repairs done and opens this area back up soon.

The sand is so soft and clean, with not a single bit of seaweed. This was so surprising, as just a few miles away there was a substantial amount of seaweed. There were palm trees that offered a perfect amount of shade if you prefer to lie and read your book or take a nap on the beach. Be sure to layer on the sunscreen, I used an SPF 60, and still walked away a bit flushed. The water was very comfortable and clean. I took a swim a few times, and this is in April. Why can't every beach be like Keating Beach? But wait... there was a lady who came and was yelling profanities, I thought she was on her phone, but she was actually just venting loudly to herself. She had all eyes on her, there was no stopping her. I suppose that's one way to exercise your freedom of speech! Keating Beach is as perfect as they come. Hopefully you won't encounter the minor interruption like I did.
