You can have food and drinks delivered to you on the beach. There are also Umbrella and Chair rentals and they do all the set up and tear down for you. I would go again.

So I only saw one side of the park, which means that I will need to drive over there again to see the rest of it on the other side. The west side has the Bill Bird Marina with hundreds of boats docked there. From the posted signs, it looks like you need to become a member in order to use the Marina and its huge parking lot. I do not own a boat so this did not apply to me. I saw a gentleman flying his kite as it was a windy but hot day. There was plenty of grassy area for kite lovers to show off their colorful and creative kites. There is also a beach area further to the north for families. I didn't see any vendors so bring a picnic basket. You can see the inlet with boats passing by. I also saw about 75 birds around some left-over rain water in the parking lot by the marina. They were so calm and beautiful. Looked like seabirds and another type of bird. I took a picture of them. Next time I will visit the east side and report back.

There was plenty of parking at 12pm on the Saturday when I went, but it was a little bit of a chilly day. The beach area was beautiful and they had some picnic tables and BBQ's by the mangroves. There are lifeguard stands and plenty of sand to find a comfortable spot. There is also the broadwalk, in which people were walking, roller-blading, and riding their bikes. I had to pay $10 to park, which would be for the whole day or even just an hour. The only thing I think that could have been improved is the cleanliness of the bathrooms. Beach bathrooms are never that sparkling clean, but these were smelly and looked like they haven't been looked over all day. So all in all, a great place to enjoy the beach if you can stand the smelly bathroom.

The water & shoreline has continued to uphold its beauty. I love coming here when I'm feeling the itch to get out by the water. The biggest change (for the worse) is there's now a parking fee. I preferred back when it was free but since I haven't been in a while I'm not sure how long it's been like this. The fee isn't terrible, which is somewhat a positive at least. The parking lot itself is massive so I've never had an issue finding a spot even on busy days. I noticed there's a lot more trash cans along the beach, which was great to see. There's some picnic tables, a fishing pier, multiple showers to rinse off at & plenty of space to lounge. There's a smaller public restroom which is definitely a smart new addition (since I'd last been). The scattered trees provide some shade but don't expect to find much else unless you're by the pier/restaurant. As far as this coast goes, I really enjoy coming to Dania compared to others. Most of the time I can take a short walk in either direction & find myself relatively alone which is my favorite thing to do outdoors. P.S. Utilize those trash cans! Pick up after YOURSELF & OTHERS. Whatever you bring with you, take it back. Just because you didn't bring the trash doesn't mean you can't pick it up. Let's work together to keep our beaches clean.

We were fortunate to find metered street parking just steps away from the beach, making access very convenient. This boardwalk is long and you can find yourself on any part of the beach. The boardwalk had a lively atmosphere with people rollerblading, riding electric bikes, and even pedaling those fun four wheel family bikes. It created a really enjoyable and energetic vibe. When we made our way onto the beach, it wasn't crowded at all, so finding a comfortable spot to sit was easy. We even took a swim in the ocean. The water felt cool when we first stepped in, but after a few minutes our bodies adjusted, and it became a very refreshing and enjoyable swim. There was a lifeguard on duty until around 6:30 PM, which added an extra sense of comfort and safety. Across the street, there was a restaurant and bar where visitors could grab drinks, food, or snacks and bring them back to enjoy by the beach. Overall, we had a wonderful time at Hollywood Beach. The relaxed atmosphere, beautiful shoreline, and lively boardwalk made for a memorable visit, and I would definitely return.

My fiancee volunteered to drive and tag along and when we arrived in the late afternoon, the beach was empty of people but packed with washed up seaweed on the shore. I was a bit hesitant at first but decided to go in since I was there already. It was a horrible idea. When I got out of the water, the water was salty, seaweed all on my hair, and my body itchy from god knows what. I walked a long distance to the building where they had shower stalls and only then I felt somewhat normal. Besides my experience today, this is a nice beach to go to because they also have fishing pier and a nice restaurant. Let me know what you thought of this beach if you ever trying it out!

It was around 10am on Saturday when we stopped by because we were in the area, and we had no idea there would be a cost. From what I could see, it is a nice pier, and you would definitely get some good pictures out there, and of the city. There's a quarterdeck right in front which opens at 11am, it's smaller than most, so I can imagine how packed it must become, especially for its location! I was really bummed about not being able to go onto the pier.
