He gave us proper instruction on how to use the jet skis and what to do if we fell in the water. Each of us were provided with life jackets. Because we started off in the canal we were able to get comfortable on the jet skis before heading out to the ocean. Once in the ocean we were able to open the throttle and feel the speed. The early morning tour was a great option because the waters were calm. This tour had a balanced mix of faster speeds and also slower idle speeds in the canals which allowed for seeing all the sights. This tour started in Pompano Beach, came back around to Lighthouse Point down the ocean to Fort Lauderdale and back up through the canal. I was surprised at how long we were on the skis - for about 2.5 hours. We were satisfied with the timing but you'd also want to make sure you have proper sun protection. I also liked that the office KC Jet Ski is operated from had little extras to buy in case something was forgotten - waterproof phone cases, sunglass straps, sunglasses, etc. This was an awesome experience. Years back we got a chance to visit Everglades National Park but never did an airboat. Our group of 36 people were taken here where we were given stickers with a letter on it. When your letter is called on the PA, you line up single file to get on the next available airboat. Earplugs are available if you need them. Our airboat tour was about twenty minutes. Just enough to appreciate the Everglades. We spotted one gator and a couple of birds. The airboat wasn't as noisy as I anticipated as the engine is in back. Hold on to your hats and baseball caps as it's windy. There's a gift shop and a food truck around the corner. You can visit the wildlife exhibit and there's a talk from a naturalist on the two gators in residency. There's an opportunity to pet a baby gator too. Now I can check off airboat experience off my bucket list.

Garry and Emma who were running the boat were awesome and truly made the day better. We anchored in. A fun area with other boat to get in the water and all around had a great day! We packed alcohol and food and they provided coolers and waters which was perfects there was even a little bathroom on board. I also want to say that the service and attention to detail that Emma provided was top tier - she was snapping photos the whole time capturing all the moments so we could just have fun, then airdropped them too us at the end. I also was not drinking alcohol, along with a couple of the other girls and she remembered that and when she was offering drinks always offered us a water instead of a can and that made me feel really included and I appreciate that so much. All in all a great day! Highly recommend! P.S. make sure you bring towels and lots of sunscreen!!!

An Awesome serendipitous discovery. Long ago I learned to water ski but only got to do it rarely…read morewhen on vacation. I always loved water skiing. Recently I bought a boat. One of the first things was to buy water skis and go skiing. I couldnt get up, ( on skis) and I didnt know if it was my boat or me. LOL I figured it was probably my boat. In order to find, out I needed to find a water ski place to check me out. I happened to see the sign in beautiful C B Smith park and called Mike and made an appointment. I asked Mike to check me out. The problem was me, not the boat. I could not get up. LOL Mike showed me the proper way to get up,and explained that when I was younger and lighter and stronger I did not need proper technique. I had such a good time the first time with Mike, I figured I needed some more sessions with him. When I first learned, long ago, the teacher was quite focused on helping me get up ,but nothing more, because if I could not get up, I would not be likely to come back. LOL Mike has been teaching me everything he knows and for me its fun and exciting. Then I discovered some bonuses. Mike is really funny. Mike loves his work and is very into the physics of water skiing and related sports. My weekly sessions with Mike are something I look forward to. I have not been to Mikes parties for kids, or tried tubing, but being a little kid at heart I can tell Mike must be great with kids. The tubing option is good if two or more people go and everyone cant get up on skis This review might sound like pumping, but any awesome young woman who doubts me is welcome to check me out. LOL I'm out to turn the clock back as best I can and have fun doing it. I dont want to say how old I am, but I have been known when asked to say I am Methusalahs brother. LOL Takes one awesome teacher to have Methusalahs brother water skiing. LOL PS : Mike keeps advancing me. Now I can drop one ski and Slalom ski. Next I hope to be able to get up on one ski. Mike is teaching me the basics of using a surfboard behind a boat. I never dreamed I could do anything like that. I'm back to being a happy proud 5 year old. As a former incorrigable child, my guess is that having fun and working hard with Mike could be a great reward for a kid and great exercise. How incorrigible was I as a child? My mom once put a curse on me that I would have kids like me. LOL

Her tour is designed to give you a calm, relaxing vibe as you cruise the Las Olas canals via paddleboard! Despite my amazing ability to swim like a rock, under Natasha's direction, I still felt comfortable and safe the entire time! She made sure my boo and I didn't fall behind while also keeping watch of the experienced paddleboard couple that ventured out ahead. There was some instruction time with safety tips before we boarded and I loved the added feature of her offering some waterproof pouches for our phones. There was nothing I would change about this tour except if I could go again and if I could doggy-sit Mr. Beaches :D

Natasha is really easy-going, friendly, and patient (which is important when you have a loud and easily distracted group!). She let us put our stuff on her boat and hang out there for a little bit until everyone from our group had arrived. Then, we were given a short lesson that included safety, how to paddle, and how to stand up. She demonstrated both on land and in the water. After helping us get in, one at a time, she took us around the canals and made sure we didn't get run over by any boaters. Not everyone in our group chose to stand up, but even those who sat or kneeled the entire time had fun. It was my first-time ever and I stood up for the majority of the ride! It is definitely a workout for your core and legs. And Natasha shared some great tips for how to keep your balance when boats pass by or when you're just "standing" still. Additionally, she frequently asked if we were okay and if we were having a good time. She and her boyfriend took lots of photos too, which she later sent to us. This was great, since most of us didn't bring our phones on the paddleboard. Mr. Beaches (her corgi) is ADORABLE and rides on Natasha's paddleboard. I thought it was the cutest thing that he would bark whenever someone fell off their board. If you didn't hear the splash, you knew someone had fallen because of Mr. Beaches. At the end of our ride, which was about 1.5 hours, Natasha helped us get out of the water, one-by-one and then served a yummy cheese and meat platter. We were all pretty hungry and made it disappear rather quickly! I'd definitely do this again.
