They have the best burnt endz. Eaten here multiple times never had a disappointing meal. Staff always a pleasure. Shakes are amazing.

I've visited the place twice this month. The first time on Veterans Day @ 3:00 pm and the place was surprisingly packed. Our server, Dominic, was the only waiter there and he worked the room perfectly. We split the Burnt Ends, which I thought were great but my friend thought they were too fatty. I had half a rack of naked ribs (I prefer to add my BBQ sauce) with a side of coleslaw and the Mac and cheese. Everything was excellent! For the price, the meals were worth it. Went back Thursday, 11/21/19 @ 5:30. The place was crowded. The primary server was Nicole. She was very accessible and accommodating. My friend ordered a regular Margarita and said it was excellent! I had the same exact meal as las time. My friend ordered 2 orders of the pulled pork with fries and the coleslaw. Again the food was excellent. The only problem on this visit was the ventilation. It got really smoky and my friend needed to use her eye drops. I would definitely recommend this place and also consider ordering takeout in the future. read more

Good food good workers... try the wings they are absolutely amazing!! The shakes are amazing too... nice small place but well worth the trip will definitely go again!!!! read more

Amazing! Awesome food and the staff could not have been nicer or more hard working. 3 young men worked together to serve and care to the needs of a packed Dang's. Very impressed !! read more

First impression as I walked in was wow this place is bright and clean. Then I spoke with the young ladies behind the counter. Both where super polite and friendly. The menu is pretty large so everyone should be able to find something they love. I will definitely be returning again and again. read more

Considering how packed this place normally is you would think the food would be good . Everything is over priced and lacks good flavor. The wait time is very long and there were a few things wrong with this order. Would not recommend spending your money here. read more

My girlfriend and I had been interested in coming to their Islip location after experiencing their food truck at a local venue. It also didn't hurt that a friend had wanted to try as well. We went for their Valentine's Day special, and nothing says "I love you", like a heart shaped tray of meats and sides. For $75 plus tax and tip, we got a half rack of ribs, pulled pork, chopped brisket, BBQ sausage, beans, slaw, BBQ chili(no beans), two beers, and a good sized dessert. The food was outstanding, as was the service. We were seated at the bar between partitions, and our waitress brought us a little of each of their barbecue sauces in addition to what was on the food. They have a diverse beer tap, including a somewhat mysterious local ale that she sadly didn't know much about. The only reason I have to drop this rating, is the parking lot is miniscule. It's on the south side of the building, and it's about five spots across. The staff suggested parking either in the nearby LIRR lot or a neighboring company's lot just north. If they could figure out a better parking solution, this would be a five star place. I am looking forward to going back. read more

Very disappointed. The ribs were dry and hard to chew. The corn bread was cold and not fresh. My iced tea was barely tea. My husbands chicken was cold. The waitress was very nice but the food was not. One and done for me! read more

The food was so goooood. As a group we all collectively agreed that it was the best BBQ spot around. We didn't even talk when feasting... That's how you know it's amazing read more

Great food !!! Came here for early dinner , are waiter was so friendly and helpful . But have to say burned ends and wings r excellent . Great tasting ribs . Definitely will be back . read more

My burger was burned the Mac and cheese was dry and nasty. The food was really over priced. I will never go back there again or recommend it to anyone. read more

Food was good. Burnt ends was a real treat. Will definitely be visiting this place again

Have thouroughly enjoyed the food there, and the shakes are fun. Staff is always pleasant. 0 complaints!

With all of the promoting that has been done on 94.3, I couldn't wait to get to Dang and totally enjoy myself. The food was totally over cooked and dry. The waitress asked me if I wanted to speak to a manager. A manager? I asked how many there were. She told me there were three. I didn't want to make a big deal out of it, but we were the only ones in the place so I figured why not. She came back and informed me that they were all "too busy" to talk to me. WOW! Great way to run a business. Now I know why so many small restaurants don't last too long. read more

Went here yesterday and order the All American Cheddar Mac and Cheese. Primo supremo! The atmosphere was beautiful and busy. I will come back and try their hamburgers, hot dogs and construct my own Mac and cheese at the Mac and cheese workshop. I highly recommend this eatery. read more

Delicious BBQ food and awesome wings. Been getting take out from here since they opened and recently sat down to eat for their Mother's Day Brunch. The interior decor is pretty cool, and they have specials every night of the week and live music which is a good vibe too. While their food is on point, they do need some staffing/service help. A lot of young staff that you can catch hanging out behind the bar or chatting with one another at inopportune times. Although the food is always worth it, there can be a long wait time for your order to be ready. The manager did give a free beer once while waiting- so no complaints there! It's great that they are busy and I get that, but it seems they could use some help to run more efficiently to get the food out of the kitchen in a more timely manner during prime hours. We did have an order mix up one one time that wasn't realized until we got home with the wrong food, but the manager was very apologetic and accommodating- he offered to remake our meal. Unfortunately it was too late and too much of a drive to go all the way back, so he comped our next order which was much appreciated and we were back the following week. Still our go-to BBQ spot read more

Was excited when this place opened because I love BBQ. I found the food to all be bland, sauce included. I only got takeout, so maybe that was my mistake. read more

Absolutely delicious food and very nice dining area! I had the "triple B" mac and cheese and i highly recommend it, i mean come on it had hamburger chunks in it and a pretzel bits on top! I am intrigued to try their cheetos topping. I also had a bite of my friend's cheeseburger and it was cooked perfectly! waffle fries were great! can't wait to go back and try something new! read more

Great food at good prices! We've had the puled chicken and sliced brisket - perfectly cooked with loads of flavor (and not drowned in BBQ sauce - perfect!). The BBQ sauce options are great. Totally understand that they are working out the kinks of being brand new. The staff is super friendly, too. Welcome to the neighborhood! read more

Can't understand the negative reviews! I got the pulled pork, and my boyfriend got the pulled pork and brisket combo. Both were juicy and delicious. For sides, I got the baked beans which were tasty, and waffle fries, which were a strong OK (the flavor was great, but they were a bit cold, which I can attribute to us getting take out and driving home before diving in). My boyfriend got the baked beans, and mac an cheese (which I would definitely recommend, it was DELICIOUS). There was a bit of a wait (approx. 30 minutes) from the time we ordered and the time we got our food, but I can attribute that to the freshness of the food. This can be avoided by calling in advance before picking up. I haven't tried one of the milkshakes yet but it is on my list for next time. read more

Worst BBQ Food I've ever had in my entire life don't go here Ribs are awful. Managers didn't care they were as useless as tits on a bull. Place is just a disgrace go to Smokin Al's. I had French fries and they're were two bites taken out so I guess someone ate a couple. My guess would be the woman manager cause she's a landwhale. Place will be shutdown in a couple years. . read more

I tried this restaurant yesterday. The food was not that great. The Mac and Cheese was pretty terrible. It was like overdone cardboard with saltless cheese sauce. Pretty sure Easy Mac would have been a better use of my money. My bigger complaint is that they don't seem to have their customer service together just yet. I think I may have left my sunglasses in there and I've tried to call to ask if anyone found them. No one has answered the phone in like 20 minutes. It's not even a busy signal, it's just ringing. So honestly, the food could be better. They definitely need more staff so the current staff aren't too busy to provide customer service. And if they'd fix that mac and cheese recipe, I'd be more apt to leave a better review. read more

Staff were friendly and responsive. Got the garbage skillet which comes with heaps of food for what you pay. Definitely could feed 2 or 3 as I had to take a to go box with more than half the skillet left. Food was great but the flavor tasted a bit diluted with all the macaroni and corn bread. read more

I live down the block from this place and have eaten there may 3 or 4 times.I had a pulled pork sandwich that was very good, the Cheeseburger was good but small IMO and very little French fries. I had the bacon cheeseburger mac and cheese which was very good and very filing. My husband liked the ribs. I have never eaten inside I always get it to go. I think their portions are small. read more

Just had dinner at Dang BBQ. The waiter Owen was great. The wings and Mac and Cheese Lasagna was amazing. Will definitely return.

Dang BBQ was greatness!! From the salads to the burgers to the combo plates. Everyone left full and happy. The salad lettuce was very fresh and the caesar dressing tasted homemade. So if it was not then that is a plus!! read more

Food is delicious, but they have an old or wrong menu up on yelp and online so ordering is complicated. They messed up my wife's order because of this so a little annoying so beware if ordering takeout or delivery. read more

Ribs tasted of propane, macaroni and cheese was cold and the food comes on paper plates with plastic forks. Overpriced!!!!

Can't say a bad thing. As far as taco Tuesday's go this place was great. Choose between pulled pork brisket and pulled chicken. All two. It and meat was awesome. The sauces they give you to try are great. Can't believe place wasn't that crowded considering there are way to many worse taco Tuesday's u can't get in. Sat at bar and had a frozen mug of beer. Bartender wAs great didn't get her name. Just a fun place and looked like they had great specials every night. Will definitely be back read more

My experience was so poor today that I had to leave a review about . I have always enjoyed the food here but the service is horrible. I have had numerous bad experiences with their customer service but today is the final straw. We went here earlier today because my son loves their wings. We walked in and their was only one table with 2 people eating and one other person waiting on pick up. We waiting 5 minutes before the woman told us to "sit wherever ." Waited another 5-10 minutes for her to walk over and bring us menus. We told her we needed a minute for drink orders. Well after another 20 plus minutes she hadn't come back so we got up and left. She was so oblivious they probably haven't noticed yet. So people kept coming in for pick up orders and she kept helping them instead of coming and taking our order. Now not her fault she's the only one working up front but common. How do you not tell them to hold on one second, take our order and put it in. Then while you're doing that our order is being prepared . Not rocket science here. Instead you ignore your only table that's been waiting and help someone who just walked in. My son was upset because he wanted to eat there but they don't deserve my money. We will never come here again. And by judging from other recent reviews we're not the only ones who've had a negative experience. read more

Finally got down there to try it out. Great food, HUGE portions, lots of choices. The King milkshake was awesome!

My husband and I just tried Dang BBQ for the first and last time. It was awful we ordered brisket, smoked sausage, pulled pork and lobster Mac and cheese the Mac and cheese was dry as a bone and we also ordered buffalo wings that were like rubber nobody knows how to make good food anywhere unless you make it yourself. Very disappointed read more

I really like DANG! And let's face it. For locals, there isn't much to compete with nearby in the BBQ genre since Smokin' Al's closed. That said, I would classify it as sort of fast food BBQ, if such a thing actually exists. I feel the prices are fair for the quality of the food... except those shakes. They are works of art, don't get me wrong, but sometimes I just skip DANG! so I don't have to buy my kid a $10 shake or listen to her cry when I say not this time. I wish they'd run a special on those here and there so we can indulge more. I'm a repeat customer and have yet to have a bad experience. The wait time can be longish when they are busy, and it's a little annoying that they don't have several phones to order, but these are things I think could be improved rather easily if management so chooses. Big plus for local delivery, it gives us another option without having to overpay DoorDash or UberEats. read more

This place sucks don't waste your time service is horrible and the inventory meager they should close this place or get some one to manage better. read more

Wanted to love this since I was excited about this place opening up but I would stick with the ribs and that's about it. Chili is not good.
