Yesterday both my car and my wife's had issues, hers needed towed to the shop. Mine wouldn't act up for them the way it did for me that prompted me to take it into the shop. That's not uncommon and rather than start throwing parts at it and "guessing" they asked me to keep driving it and hopefully it will eventually progress to where its more consistent and they can fix it right the first time. So knowing mine was functional and safe, just with an intermittent issue, they said I could pick mine up so we wouldn't need to rent a car. Diagnostics on mine came to $120, which I paid without objection. A couple of hours later the owner calls me and tells me that it was someone new up front and he's still learning and I shouldn't have been charged since they couldn't find my issue. They will apply what I paid to my wife's bill. I have never had a shop NOT charge for diagnostics in my 35 years of car ownership. Even if they couldn't find what was wrong. They have done everything for me from brakes to complete engine replacement, and as long as I am in the Central Illinois area I will continue to bring my vehicles to them and recommend them.

We had our car towed here on a Sunday evening after losing power on the interstate. This happened…read moreabout 1.5 hours from home, so we were unfamiliar with shops in the area. Our tow truck driver recommended this place so that is where we had it towed. The next morning, I received a call from Mike saying that our engine had a spun a rod bearing. That basically meant we needed a new engine. He recommended I talk to the Hyundai dealership to see if it was still under the manufacturer powertrain warranty. Thankfully it was under warranty, so I had it towed to the dealership for the repairs. Despite spending his time diagnosing the issue, Mike did not charge me anything. If I'm ever in the area and need another car issue diagnosed, I would definitely visit again. Thanks!

I brought my vehicle in and specifically asked them to install a particular tire, but they gave me the wrong tire. When I pointed this out, instead of helping resolve the issue, I was yelled at and confronted aggressively. I also noticed that my valve stem had been removed and was not replaced. Most seriously, I discovered holes in my tire and believe my tire was intentionally damaged while my vehicle was there. The situation became so heated that I felt unsafe and had to call the police. I felt disrespected, intimidated, and taken advantage of throughout the experience. Based on what happened, I would not recommend this business and will not be returning. Im also 16 years old.
