Full disclosure, I haven't actually been to any other dance studios, but I don't need to in order to know that it doesn't get any better than Daync. The owners: Josh and Amber, I can't say enough wonderful things about these two! What they have created here in Milwaukee is so genuine and clearly comes out of their love for dance. They are both incredible dancers and teach the Salsa/Bachata classes. Their passion for sharing their love of dance is evident in the way they teach and the way they run their business. Since reopening after the covid-19 lockdown they have done an incredible job creating a safe atmosphere that still allows people to come in and have a great time learning to dance. They care a great deal about the people that come to Daync and that is clearly evident by the effort they put in to get to know everyone. I had only been attending classes for a few months before covid hit. Then when they were able to reopen an injury kept me sidelined for a while longer. On my first day back in 6 months: I was standing outside waiting to check in, Josh sees me from down the line and even though I was wearing a mask he recognized me, greeted me by name, and said he was glad to have me back after so long away. This is exactly the sort of caring, inclusive culture they have created at Daync. Everyone is welcome, and they make darn sure that you know that. Seriously, I can't say enough good things about these two. Class offerings: They have a multitude of class offerings featuring various styles and skill levels all throughout the week. Hip hop, Salsa, and Bachata are their main dance classes during the week and offer different levels and partner classes for the later two. They also offer a contemporary class, Capoeira, and most recently have started offering a heels class for the ladies (or anyone that wants to get in touch with their feminine side, I suppose). Josh and Amber teach the Salsa/Bachata classes and they have a small handful of incredible instructors that rotate through the hip hop classes. I have never left the studio without a huge smile on my face. You'd be hard pressed to find a more caring and inclusive dance studio that is just so dang much fun. Go. You'll be so glad you did.

Whether it's getting girls to participate, use the bathroom, or engage them in a recital, she has a process and thought out plan for all. I actually love that she doesn't have a visible window (from the inside) for dancers to get distracted during practice. The recital was run in a top notch fashion. Girls were engaged, everything ran fluidly, and the program absolutely delivered! Very great addition to SE Wisconsin, and a very strongly run program overall. This is a really great activity - and quite the workout -would definitely recommend to any groups looking for a unique and fun activity in Lake Geneva. Linda was super friendly and was really great at showing us the basic steps and we had a chance at the end to put our new dancing skills all together. She was also really good at correcting our form to make sure we were doing the dances correctly, yet did so in a friendly manner. They also had some cute head and hip scarves which really made the experience that much more fun. There is also seating for any friends that want to watch and encouraged photos, etc. For $20 each, it was money well spent and a really fun time. Pro tip: If you're hosting a party here, bring chairs! As this is a pole house, there's lots of swinging and sliding but not necessarily a whole lot of sitting. The space allows for a good number of people and the hosts were able to bring in some catered food as well. Not all poles are created equal, definitely go for the ones that rotate as opposed to those that are stationary, it's just more fun! Note that this is on the second floor of an older building, so be cognizant of that when planning an event. You could definitely do worse for a fun event or party than Pole Factory MKE!

There are so many ways to visit Brew Fitness - in person, online for live zoom classes and on-demand classes. I've added a picture of my favorite area - the personal training station. I love the group classes, but the personal training offered here is wonderful. The trainers are knowledgeable, nice and fun! Membership: I do the unlimited membership because it gives me access to all the classes, but you can buy packs of classes, a virtual membership, on-and demand access. All very well priced! You can even drop in for single classes! Extra bits: Also worth mentioning are the dogs you might see, the beer you may drink and the coffee that's always available. It's also always clean - it's two levels of fitness fun. Just a unique experience at a gym that's truly member focused.
