Full disclosure, I haven't actually been to any other dance studios, but I don't need to in order to know that it doesn't get any better than Daync. The owners: Josh and Amber, I can't say enough wonderful things about these two! What they have created here in Milwaukee is so genuine and clearly comes out of their love for dance. They are both incredible dancers and teach the Salsa/Bachata classes. Their passion for sharing their love of dance is evident in the way they teach and the way they run their business. Since reopening after the covid-19 lockdown they have done an incredible job creating a safe atmosphere that still allows people to come in and have a great time learning to dance. They care a great deal about the people that come to Daync and that is clearly evident by the effort they put in to get to know everyone. I had only been attending classes for a few months before covid hit. Then when they were able to reopen an injury kept me sidelined for a while longer. On my first day back in 6 months: I was standing outside waiting to check in, Josh sees me from down the line and even though I was wearing a mask he recognized me, greeted me by name, and said he was glad to have me back after so long away. This is exactly the sort of caring, inclusive culture they have created at Daync. Everyone is welcome, and they make darn sure that you know that. Seriously, I can't say enough good things about these two. Class offerings: They have a multitude of class offerings featuring various styles and skill levels all throughout the week. Hip hop, Salsa, and Bachata are their main dance classes during the week and offer different levels and partner classes for the later two. They also offer a contemporary class, Capoeira, and most recently have started offering a heels class for the ladies (or anyone that wants to get in touch with their feminine side, I suppose). Josh and Amber teach the Salsa/Bachata classes and they have a small handful of incredible instructors that rotate through the hip hop classes. I have never left the studio without a huge smile on my face. You'd be hard pressed to find a more caring and inclusive dance studio that is just so dang much fun. Go. You'll be so glad you did.

Marc and Linda are phenomenal teachers, and they truly give everything to make The Studio the great place that it is. No matter how tired they are from the countless hours of work they put into a production like "The Nutcracker", or how much work they have ahead of them, they still give excellent classes every time, without fail. I could never thank them enough for everything they do for those of us in the adult division, as well as the kids in the student division. Their new location on Chicory Road is also GREAT! They've got two HUGE studios with lots of room to dance, and they're very well-maintained. I highly recommend The Studio of Classical Dance Arts to anyone interested in taking ballet classes.
