I have taken one class and will never return. Students and instructors have come forward with detailed accounts of harassment, grooming, and financial exploitation. Instead of addressing these concerns publicly, apologizing, or taking accountability, Josh and Amber have chosen silence. How are people supposed to feel safe in this space when the owners can't even acknowledge the harm that's been done under their leadership? Josh's predatory behavior and Amber's enabling of it have created a toxic environment where trust has been shattered. The lack of transparency or responsibility makes it impossible to believe that this is a safe or supportive place to dance or learn.

I met a great lady their at Jessica dance on June 15, 2023. He hit it off good n been together now for almost 28 months. I highly recommend.

Unlike other people who have posted reviews about cost and being sold, I took 5 minutes to research prices online so I wasn't surprised when I was asked to purchase additional lessons after my intro lesson. 10 months later and I have a new hobby. Am I asked to participate in a variety of events? Yes. Do I decline? Sometimes. These are professionals who are providing a service. That service costs money. What I get in return is immeasurable. Jade, Sasha, Alex, and Brandon are an amazing group of instructors with a passion for dance and sharing that joy with other people. With their help I've went from barely being able to put my feet in the right spot to being, dare I say, somewhat graceful. If you're looking to learn how to dance, and share in the joy of that activity, this is the place to go!

There were several other couples there at various skill levels, so we didn't feel out of place. Pretty much everyone there, from instructors to staff to the other customers were friendly. Some of the reviews mention sales pressure, but we personally did not find the sales pressure to be uncomfortable. They have a facility to maintain and instructors to pay, and everything costs money. Bottom line, if you want professional dance instruction in a great downtown facility, you're going to have to pay a professional cost. Napoleon Dynamite might be able to learn sweet dance moves alone from VHS, but if you need professional help this is the place to go.

I'd always been a little intimidated by group fitness classes full of women, but one day I just said "screw it!" and I attended my first (FREE!) class. I expected a tough, full-body workout, and I got it! But what I DIDN'T expect was such a warm, welcoming, judgement-free, and encouraging group of women. The owners, Nikki and Christina, will know your name the second you walk in the door and can always be found chatting with clients. I can talk all about the physical results I've experienced from barre classes (because they're there!), but it's so much more than that. It's a lifestyle studio. Unlike other gyms, if you miss a class, they encourage you to make it up and try a different class rather than losing the money. Cardio Complete - these classes are a great full body workout with routines that each target different muscle groups. Incorporating bodyweight exercises, dumbbells, jump ropes and more. As someone who grew up dancing, these classes are especially fun for me as I enjoy the aerobics style routines. I saw results in my strength, cardio and muscle tone very shortly after joining these classes. Boxing - I am not a consistent member of the boxing classes, but have done a few drop-in classes and got a great workout! If you are looking for a fast paced, fun and tiring workout I would definitely recommend trying a boxing class. During the class you will switch between heavy hanging bags, speed bags, headache bags as well as individual target mitts with a trainer. Pilates Slide - this is a newer class offered and am hoping that they continue it. I have done pilates at other studios prior and nothing compares to this class. It is a low impact workout but is sure to leave you sweating and feeling toned! If you do not feel like doing a class, they also have a gym on the lower level with cardio equipment, free weights, and machines. I highly recommend giving the Shape Up Shoppe a try and guarantee that you will fall in love with it like I did!

From multiple levels of pole dance, strength building classes, to lap dance classes, and burlesque classes. The classes are fun, confidence boosting, strength building! I can be stressed or having a bad day and coming to class instantly makes me feel better! DJ and Maureen take their time with every student and work with you to reach your goals no matter what. Everyone makes you feel so welcome and encouraged to keep going no matter what you level is. I have so many good things to say about this place!
