I completed the 6 week course and didn't feel confident so I basically quit. A while later, I received a $15 off for a class and curiosity pushed me to sign up for a repeat of pole 1. I completed it with full confidence (Thanks, Valerie!) I am now in Pole 6. I've even repeated a few courses just to keep mastering the moves and to continue seeing my new, but now, Miss Pole friends! Every few weeks I find a Facebook or email flash promo for $$$ off classes which keep me signing up for more. I've even begun to wear heels in class and don't mind wearing smaller and smaller shorts (because you need all the skin grip you can get in those upside down inverts and moves! ) I would challenge even the shyest of women to try a class. It's only going to make you feel sexy, beautiful and even make you stronger if you keep at it! Although I do work out at a local gym, I thoroughly enjoy my weekly pole sessions. Parking is always easy to find, wear clothing to your comfort and go to open pole classes if you want more practice! (Or buy your own pole.) They offer other classes for dance and physical fitness, such as Flex Appeal (flexibility) and At The Barre (adult beginner ballet). They allow drop-in's for certain classes that are affordable, in case you want to try a class that's not pole dancing and don't want to commit to buying a whole class session up front. They also offer a virtual "punch card" online so you can try different classes. There's no drama here: the students and instructors are women aged 18 and up. All shapes, sizes, and fitness levels come here. No one is too big or too old. The classes are small and the instructors can decrease or increase the challenge of the class for your own personal needs. I like that I am encouraged to strive to be better but am not pressured to keep up with the girl next to me. Everyone's goals, needs, and abilities are different.

I had taken a few other classes and loved it, so I decided to enroll and try a 6-week class that was a mix of pole and lap dancing. YAS GURL! Learning all kinds of fun things and getting a great workout at the same time. Who know it worked your arse out sooooooo good? The location is tucked in the back of a strip plaza, and it took me a second to find it. The space is small but enough for a class. It is very welcoming and the girls who teach it and take the class are all very fun! I think it is very reasonably priced and they offer Yelp and multiple class discounts. It is a WI based business, so you are supporting the locals. There is a make-up policy also. So if you miss a class, no worries. They are great with working with you. DO IT!

Class was 60 minutes and 75 or 90 minutes would be more appropriate, in my opinion. Otherwise, this being my first experience working with the pole, it was fun. It has been something I wanted to do for a while and I'm glad I did it. But even for beginners, upper body strength is paramount to even the most basic moves.

It turned out the class was a Beginner II rather than an intro, and the instructor was more of a demonstrator than a teacher. Despite struggling, I still enjoyed the class enough to sign up for a second session. That session was oversold, as the only pole available had a huge floor flaw that was TAPED over. Over the course of the class, the tape and adhesive became tackier and eventually ruined the shoes I was wearing for the first time. This resulted in my shoes literally sticking to the floor, so I couldn't complete a move and ended up painfully smashing my knees against the edge of the pole base, resulting in bruises on both. Despite being oversold and unsafe, the studio refuses to refund my session fee. I had two credits from signing up for the first session, and I asked for a refund after the 2nd class of the 2nd session. I should have my entire fee refunded, but they took two weeks to write me back and let me know that because the semi-present instructor didn't know I was in pain, they are going to KEEP MY MONEY?!?! The instructor saw me trying to remove the tape and goo from my shoes, but they are literally going to try to weasel out of being accountable with this. They should refund me for my session, replace my shoes, and acknowledge that their studio is UNSAFE, their classes are oversold, and their practices are shady. Really disgusted by the entire experience, it's a shameful way to run a business, and the lack of concern and support is negligent and irresponsible.

The studio is split in two: one side for aerial fitness, and the other for poles (both are offered in 8 week packages). I have taken one class and will never return. Students and instructors have come forward with detailed accounts of harassment, grooming, and financial exploitation. Instead of addressing these concerns publicly, apologizing, or taking accountability, Josh and Amber have chosen silence. How are people supposed to feel safe in this space when the owners can't even acknowledge the harm that's been done under their leadership? Josh's predatory behavior and Amber's enabling of it have created a toxic environment where trust has been shattered. The lack of transparency or responsibility makes it impossible to believe that this is a safe or supportive place to dance or learn.
