She is trained to level 3 Pilates, which outclasses my humble Pilates Mat Level 1. Her studio has specialty equipment like the Pilates reformer and the Cadillac, along with the padded mats. There is nowhere to hide in a crowd, like some studios, so you are guaranteed to get the instruction (and results) that you came for. I had the privilege of one-to-one training as well as training with a local group of triathletes. While that workout caught my attention, I also noticed that my right hip (that I had injured in a motorcycle accident) stopped clicking and my lower back stiffness took a holiday. Note: Most of the parking is taken up by the Fitness World, so you are better off parking on the road near the White Spot.

A really pumping community cardio workout!…read more I took a 7:15am morning class and it was amazing The staff were so great helping me set up: - find the locker, - get the right size cycling shoes, - find the bike, and - setting the height of the bike I got a welcome notecard at my bike and the even had a sign at the front desk to welcome me. I haven't been to a spin class in a few years so it was quite fun to get back into it During the 50min spin class, the room was dark and the music was just pumpin (some riders may need ear plugs) There were some older and newer songs, we also used some 2 pound weights to work the arms and shoulders, some stretching at the end Overall, it was a great workout - Instructor gave clear instructions - Bikes were comfortable They even made fresh brewed coffee, but the class was enough to wake me up Some other nice extras they offer here at Spin Co - Shower stall - towel at the bike - lockers - water filling station (bring your own bottle) There's free parking located at Madison Centre with the Spin Co store front facing Lougheed Hwy Can't wait to go back

The good? Pretty empty, even during peak hours. This is likely due to all the bad I'll list below…read more The bad? Outdated equipment, a large amount of which is usually broken. Pretty unsanitary facility, the water tastes like there's mold in the lines, the front desk staff are usually pretty good, but anybody operating the rest of their customer service issues are rude, unhelpful, and ultimately just want to charge you for any fee they can. The price is very high for what you're getting. The classic gym that just wants you to sign a contract, and then bill you any and every chance they get. Their system repeatedly said my payment had declined (spoke with Visa, they had no part in this, and I am never even close to my limit, nor do I have this experience with the other dozen auto payments I have on my card). Repeatedly tried to resolve this with them, to no avail. To cancel? More fees, late charges, and additional membership payments due to their "policies". If you want to hit some barbell movements during peak hours, it's an alright gym. If you want a remotely positive experience, in absolutely any way, do NOT go to this gym.
