They put out returned maternity clothes with holes in them. The jeans were worn so much prior to return that there was a ton of wear and a massive crotch hole. Do they not care at all about what they are selling? Shame on them. And they wanted to take no responsibility when I confronted a manager and said "we didn't put those pants on the sale rack.." read more

Every place we went to the staff were obnoxious. Apparently paying with an actual $100 bill is a massive problem for most places. Twice I went to make purchases and because of staff attitude I put my selections back. The carousel is overpriced, they moved the play area that was formerly in the food court is now randomly stuck a floor below by jcpenny so kids that used to be happy at the food court now get to be upset and parents have the pleasure of fighting with their kids to eat before playing-what used to be relaxing is now a pain. Apparently the mall no longer believes in air conditioning because it was hotter in the mall than out of it. read more

Really big mall!!! Has so many stores from Lush to Victoria's Secret to Cotton On and so on. Great food court from pizza to Chinese.

I love the Danbury Fair Mall. I have been coming to this mall for over 20 years and it has definitely gotten better and better over the years. Its a nice mix of moderate priced to high end shops, but it doesn't have a real pretentious vibe like say the Westchester. Its easily accessible and there is definitely something for everyone! Living in NC I have no shortage of malls or shopping choices, but DFM is still probably one of my faves. Every time I come up for a visit I make sure to hit up the H&M as we are yet to have one in Charlotte and I miss it so much!! read more

What happened to this mall!? Over the past 10 years, this place has completely changed. Growing up, this used to be a place where I could buy anything and everything. I am extremely disappointed in the changes of stores. They took out H&M, no Zara, no Uniqlo, no Nordstrom Rack! But kept Pac Sun?! Zumiez?? Express? Insanity. They don't even have great high end store options. The only good things they have added are Chipotle and Primark. read more

I might have given it 4 stars after the renovation, but this year, it's a huge space of chaos and noise. Just not a nice experience anymore. It's Christmas, and there is some kind of Christmas noise out there, but I cannot distinguish it from the "music" coming from various stores. There is something new: in the food court, two screens advertising movies, and yes, with sound. The food court is supposed to be a place to relax, eat, drink - move on. Not tonight. We could not wait to get out of the mall altogether. I think 2 hours is the shortest amount of time we've ever spent here for Christmas shopping. No directories anywhere - though we did stumble onto a "concierge" who was able to direct us back to our parking lot. Only up side is that if we needed to hang around longer, they are open till midnight. Yippee. read more

Very nice mall. Not huge in any sense. The Brass Mills Mall in Waterbury is bigger and much more selection of stores. Mall has improved over the past 15 years. read more

The Danbury Fair Mall, Connecticut's largest shopping mall, is located in Danbury, CT - Exit 3 off I-84. It has approximately 200 retailers along with lots of yummy eateries. A great treat for all ages, is to take a ride on the malls famous carousel. The large department stores are Macy's, JCPenney, Sears and Lord & Taylors . A few other stores are: GAP, Old Navy, Coach, PacSun, Radio Shack, Foot Locker, KB Toys, Apple Store, Yankee Candle, H & M and many, many more located on 2 levels. read more

One of the best things this mall put in was the chipotle and the free electric car charging. absolutely love coming to this mall. gets a little crowded sometimes and parking isn't the greatest especially when someone without an electric car parks in the electric car parking and then i can't charge my car :/ hopefully this changes read more

Great mall with different stores than we have at the Poughkeepsie Galleria. Very cean, plenty of parking and they have nice seating areas with comfortable chairs. Descent food court. Love the free wifi too. read more

I was extremely impressed by this mall. Aside from the labyrinth outside to navigate for parking and exiting (it's a trap- you can't escape!), it's a well designed mall with a huge selection of good stores and restaurant options. My friend and I spotted it from the highway while driving home in CT and figured why not. I'm glad we went in as I loved walking around and browsing some of the stores you just don't see in my area. My favorite was Harry and David and their yummy free samples. We wandered over to some of the side plazas afterward and I really liked the huge Whole Foods. Very crowded as it was a Saturday evening but you never felt like people were too close and I didn't feel like I was going to run into anyone walking too slowly in front of me. If ever in the area again, I would make an effort to return and I don't say that about many malls! read more

The best mall in Ct. Clean, safe. has alot of the best stores. plenty of parking.

Really great mall the food court is yummy and my wife loves the build a bear store. I love the Apple Store great stuff.

Only a short cab ride from Bethel where I'm staying. So much stuff to in the mall. I went to the Cheesecake Factory for the first time. It was delicious. Went to the apple store but the line was so long I didn't stay. Two story mall. Lots of people there. read more

I go to the mall and I am on the phone finishing a call before I go in. A security service car pulls up and the security person tells me I cannot loiter in my parked car in the parking lot. I had to explain why I was in my parked car. Really? I wonder if the paying tenants know that the mall security team is chasing away customers. #danburyfairmall read more

I pretty much grew up here during a certain part of my life. They have renovated much of it, and kept it up to date. Has a nice feel to it, but overall a little too commercial for me. Top name stores, and some cool smaller ones too. To be honest when I shop here, which isn't often, I'm in and out generally. Or... I'll come to get in some exercise on a cold day. After all, its two floors and pretty big. read more

Whenever in the area i.love coming to this mall..it is packed with FL great stores. Abercrombie, Ann Taylor and also The Brio Tuscan Grill. It's nice that a mall.has a nice place to eat. The place is clean and service here is good. What's most important is there doesn't seem to be a huge influx of kids hanging out. read more

It's not the west Chester in White Plans but it's a well kept mall. No movie theater but it doesn't take away from its shops and restaurants. read more

Avoid the Santa. Made reservations for 2:58 pm walked up exactly on time and was told we had to wait even though no one was there. The guy went to let us get in and the girl walked up and said in front of the kids "Santa's going on a break and we need to clean up." The guy said "but they have a reservation" to which she replied "doesn't matter". When we finally got up to see him, about a half hour later the kids went to sit with Santa for the picture and the girl said "if you want to take your own picture you have to stand behind the line". We hadn't even thought about taking a picture since we had to pay in advance to get the so-called "reservation". We were about 6 inches in front of their line and my wife took out her phone. Right away the girl steps right in front her and in a nasty tone says "ma'am you need to stand behind the line". At that point I had enough, the kids snapped the pics and we walked away. Good place, great wifi. Also plenty of stores available. The parking can be a little annoying sometimes but rather then that its all good. By the way be-careful with New York drivers since they have sucky malls in NY, they usually come to the Danbury mall and they are the worst drivers in the world and they are out to get you, trust me. read more

Even though this mall is farther away then brass mill center, I still go here. I think the Cheesecake Factory was a great addition to the mall. There is lots of stores to shop at to. read more

It was the Christmas shopping season and my parents were coming to visit me for the weekend at Fairfield U. We had already been to the Westfield Trumbull mall before and my mom wanted to try something different. Google Maps said the mall was about 40 minutes away, which isn't too bad. However, we thought the roads were major highways like in Jersey and we were wrong. The route there was all town backroads and driving back in the dark wasn't fun. Due to this we won't be coming back in the years to come, which is a shame considering it's one of the best malls in the tri-state area/ one of the best i've ever been to. This mall has something for everyone with the exception of a bookstore (which is normal considering the Kindle is killing every book store). All my favorites are here (J. Crew, large Banana Republic, very large department store sized Forever 21, Macy*s, Lord & Taylor, Apple, Cotton On, the list goes on and on). Unfortunately, I heard the large yet outdated H&M has recently closed. With the exception of Nordstrom, store placements, and lower ceilings, this mall is exactly the same as Freehold Raceway Mall back in Jersey, a mall I frequent as I have relatives in the area. We spent the entire day in this mall and got almost all of our Christmas shopping done to the point where the car was too full! For lunch, the food court was pretty damn good, lots of choices (Desert Moon was excellent). For Dinner, the Cheesecake Factory was mobbed so we enjoyed Buffalo Wild Wings across the road. Great mall, but like I mentioned before, way out of the way. Next Christmas, we'll just visit Stamford Town Center. read more

I will tell you why Sears is going in the tank... I went to purchase cell phone from consumer cellular. First the counter and the store in general was a ghost town. The gentleman who was selling washers asked if he could help, Nice but he could not answer any questions.. gave me the informational three fold item. Which I did not need. Then he told me the Man selling the Mattresses would be over in about 30 minutes to help.....I flagged down a woman who had a badge around her neck, Which I am sure said something like I'm just here for a paycheck, She too knew nothing. While waiting I called the Consumer Cellular 800 number and to my surprise I received much more info then anyone in the store could give. My Point... there is a reason consumers do not go to the Brick and Mortars 's anymore. You cant get any help and when you do they are incompetent. I know that's harsh but I'm in the customer service business, When myself or my staff do not give adequate help to guests we hear about it. Read the reviews read more

Danbury Fair Mall is as safe as it gets. It is clean and the types of stores will meet just about everyone's needs. I had my hair done in a salon, then went to the Apple store (which is tripping it's size) and purchased an I Pad. The mall works for me. The Apple store was packed, but was not an issue as I got my motorized chair through with ease. read more

The manager is very efficient and accommodating. The staff is always nice. My only problem is that they never open all the registers so I'm always waiting at LEAST 15 minutes in line read more

Awesome mall with great stores, my only complaint is they force you to walk the entire length of the mall to get to your destination as they took out multiple escalators. I shouldn't have to walk through forever 21 every time I want to go up, or downstairs. read more

What a great mall!! I spend hours here. Huge. Clean. Open space makes it easy to walk around. Love the stores with their super friendly and helpful employees! And the playground was an excellent asset.. my daughter meets so many nice kids there as well as myself with the other parents. Looking forward to go back very soon!!!! read more

This is an excellent mall to go shopping for many things! The food court staff is friendly and the manager of chick fil a is very nice and friendly! The stores are a mix of kid friendly and non kid friendly! The whole building is exceptionally clean! There is also a nice ride that requires you to wear a stamp that fades! Here are the pros: Clean, not overcrowded, decent selection of stores-including Lands End, Apple, and Sephora. Parking is free and usually you can get ample parking-not including the Christmas weeks naturally. There are not "thugs" or roving teens all over the place either. Cons: Would love to see a few more high ended stores. read more
