The stylist, Ms. Misty, was so kind and thoughtful, it was such a relaxing and wholesome experience. She is delicate with her hands, she asked me a couple questions of why style I was looking for and she nailed it so good! The stylish messy bun lasted well on a sunny windy wedding day. In the evening, I actually took the bun out and just let my hair down and it looked so so good! I got many compliments. She is exceptionally talented! My updo looked fantastic( neat, elegant, natural and romantic) and held all day. I got married at 7:30pm and my appointment was a 10:30am.. that's quite a stretch. The makeup was great too. I didn't look over styled nor under polished. I don't usually strut, but I felt really pretty! I am indebted. I'm from New York City and I have been to my fair share of top end NY salons in my quest for better looking everything..I've been a bridesmaid 7 times before and had some really weird styles piled on top of my head and makeup jobs I've had to wash off immediately afterwards. Then I was like okay, then he came back and said Sam did not want to do my hair because she thought I wasn't going to tip her or give her the full price of my hair appointment. We were all happy with how we looked. The negatives: they are very disorganized, which caused unnecessary stress while planning my wedding. For example, I asked them to send me a contract at least three times over as many months before Heather, the owner, sent it. The stylist who did my hair for the wedding didn't remember how we had done it during our trial, even though she had a picture from the trial, and I had to ask her to re-do it on the day of the wedding, which wasted some time. They did not keep track of the deposit I'd made, and were confused on the wedding day as to how much to charge me. Weeks later, one of them called to say they'd forgotten to charge me an extra $100 for coming to the hotel. Ultimately, I was happy with my hair and makeup. But they were not easy to work with.
