Not a stodgy theater with little legroom and a see-and shut-up atmosphere. It is a living theater, one where you can bring your wine and cheese, one where audience participation is accepted, one where photo is not frowned upon. Besides Jordan's superb performance, the thespian-loving crowd was in rare form, making it a part of the uplifting show. The theater has awesome acoustics. And as well, there is not one bad seat in the house, as the fairly steep angle of the rows provides for superb visibility throughout. The large bar and sitting area upstairs compliment the Stage. Welcoming, comfortable, with a full bar and wine offerings. Indeed, the Bank of New Hampshire stage is a model for others to follow.

The singing couldn't be better. They all did such a great job, including Ursla! She had quite the costume and a voice that made me afraid of her. I liked that they all came to the front of the stage to way to everyone and didn't rush off. Sebastian the crab was another one I like a lot. Arielle and the Prince made it all believable. I'm glad I went. I just disliked trying to find a parking spot. Handicap parking was at least a block and a half away. Other than that, it was great and we all enjoyed the show.

Cash or card taken at the concession stand. A reusable cup given with purchase of any beverage (except bottled water). No cup holders in the balcony but not a huge issue since cup has a lid. Friendly ushers and comfy chairs. Would definitely return to the Rex to see another show!

The main act comic was nervous and was pretty dry. I don't know if they weren't prepared, nervous or reading the room and had to change things up, he called on two 25+ yr old girls and was polling the usual asks of what they did and tried to make a few jokes around their occupations, it was more conversational than witty/funny as we've seen before. If you're a fan of FLW, you definitely need to do the tour from the Currier Museum where you can…read morenow visit both the Zimmerman House and this one, a more recent addition to their collection. It could hardly be more different from the Zimmerman, being built mostly from pre-cast concrete bricks. It's one of Wright's 'Usonian Automatic' homes; this means that he sent you the plans and measurements and you had to build it yourself after casting all the concrete bricks yourself from a variety of moulds. Not an easy task even for the most dedicated home builder, and not surprising that only seven of them were ever built. Much of the original furniture is no longer present, but it still has the original kitchen and stove/oven. The long bench seat under the windows has been partially restored and the Currier have been adding other bits of furniture that you can actually sit on while you listen to the docent's talk. It's unmistakably a Wright house, but with all the concrete blocks and glass it felt rather cold and industrial. I don't think I would have liked to live in it, unlike the Zimmerman house just along the road. Book the tour from the Currier Museum of Art, it's well worth it to see both of these Wright creations.

There is another Frank Lloyd Wright home on the same street called the Zimmerman House. You get a tour of both that takes about 2 hours.
