We signed up for an introductory wedding dance session to build my now husband's confidence - and we both ended up loving it!! We worked with Shayla in the weeks leading up to our wedding and she gave us so many ideas and tips to add finesse to our dance without making it stressful or difficult. We took first dance wedding classes with Mark, and all we can say is THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. In 10 lessons (8 weeks) he choreographed a beautiful dance for us! He was always so helpful, encouraging, and made sure we were comfortable with all the steps. I cant say enough about how great our experience was. My fiancé and I were looking for a place that could give us a few pointers for our first dance on our wedding day. He has two left feet and wanted to feel comfortable dancing in front of people. So of course we saw the intro price and were intrigued. A full class isn't even an hour, it's 45 min. At first we found the woman to be helpful and nice. At the end of the intro class they come out as sales people and try to sell you on more classes that are crazy expensive. I felt off about it but my fiancé insisted so we purchased a package of 3 classes. We thought that would be the perfect amount to prepare us for the big day. Keep in mind this is 2 months before our wedding and we were fitting these into our busy schedule. Also, during the intro they ask you a bunch of questions to get a better idea of what yourre looking for. I was very clear that we we were looking for some guidance and direction to make my fiancé feel more comfortable and we were in no way looking for a whole song to be choreographed. She said that's fine, she can totally help us. The next 2 classes (remember only 45 min) consisted of half the time practicing specific choreography and half the time her trying to convince us to buy more classes so we can be better prepared. She asked us so many times and took up so much of our time that it discouraged us from going to our last class. Lesson learned. Almost $400 for 3 classes when the class is 45 min but 20 min of it they try to sell you more. Not worth it. It was too structured. She didn't listen to our needs. The choreography she gave wasn't us. Waste of money. Overpriced. read more

We went in for a wedding dance consultation. The teachers (Miah and Jessica) were very nice and energetic. They walked us through a variety of basic dances to go with our song. Then they sat us down and danced a couple styles so we could see which ones we like the best. We probably would have paid for the 20 more classes had they not been so pushy. They offer a new student discount for lessons, but only if you book immediately (that same appointment). To me that seems like a faulty business model. It seems like they're saying if we look elsewhere, we'll find better so they're trying to lock us in that day. We'd be new students regardless if we decide that moment while they're staring at us or if we decide the next day. I recommend that they instead offer a new student discount for the first couple lessons instead of only that day. Once we decided that we'd like to consider other options, Jessica's demeanor and body language changed drastically. Her face contorted and she was clearly angry, although she did shake our hands and offered a quick "hope to hear from you." I would have been more impressed if she responded with something like "I completely understand that you'd like to shop around and get different opinions. We're here for you when you decide to come back!" read more

We called to ask whether they had dances open to the public and didn't get a clear answer. Their answer was "No but..." and then they went into a LONG and very pushy sales pitch for very expensive private lessons. read more

We went in for a group dance with 3 lessons. We decided we didn't need the last lesson and requested the last session be reimbursed if not fully, partially. I was told by Miah, I would get a return call...never called back even after me leaving 2 to 3 messages requesting a professional courtesy call with an explanation either way....nothing. We had received an introductory package from one of our children and we really didn't know what to expect. However, we ended up thoroughly enjoying working with Miah (the owner), always looking forward to the next session. We may not be the most graceful people around but, Miah always had something positive to say while, at the same time, correcting our errors. We both felt that he was genuinely a wonderful person whom we thought handled both of us as perfectly as anyone could ever do. A great experience and we learned to dance as well. He was knowledgeable, patient, excited, and an outstanding teacher who is clearly in love with dance. We completed the introductory package, signed up for another, and plan to continue if we stay in the area. It's not just about learning to dance, it's about having fun. Highly recommended. read more
