Something was seriously wrong with our garage door. Every time we opened or closed it, something…read morewas pulling away from the wall, dropping drywall on the floor. Eventually, a metal structure holding the garage light snapped, too. We gave Cincinnati Door and Opener a call and Adam came by to take a look. He was on time, courteous and very professional. He noted immediately that the two springs that bear the weight of the door had broken (I would never have known), which started the domino effect of having the pulley cable start to pull away from the wall and snap the housing the held it. Adam had everything we needed for a repair on his truck, explained the pricing and set to work. Just over an hour later he was done. He made the pulley housing stronger by using better quality metal than it came with originally, replaced the rubber strip under the door and the springs, secured the pulley to the wall, lifted the safety sensors so they wouldn't get damaged by rain or water and even changed a burned out light for me, since he had his ladder handy. The garage door has never been quieter. Recommended!

This was one of the most customer-centric experience that my family has ever experienced! That…read morebeing said, I never expected to be saying this about a "garage door service/system" company. Last night, our garage door system came off the tracks and the entire door was literally half-hanging on the tracks. We were able to find 2 of the wheels/pins to somewhat secure the door enough to get the vehicle in the driveway. After that, our family said a prayer that everything would stay in place long enough for a technician to come out (thinking that it would be 24-48 hours before someone would be out. This morning, we contacted Advanced Door Systems (as they originally installed our Garage Door System). Mrs. Jenny answered the phone and patiently allowed me to ramble as I tried to describe the issue. When I was done trying to explain, she did a basic troubleshoot based on my description. Then after getting our address, checking where the technician was currently located and looking at the shop's schedule, was able to get a technician out here in just over an hour from when I placed the call. Mr. Abner came out and he sure knew his stuff! He even knew who installed the door, several years ago by the handwriting on the original paperwork (which we had in the garage). Apparently it was Mr. Billy (the business owner along with Mrs. Jenny). Abner figured out that one of my old (and solid) round point shovels, which we had against a wall (near the track), must've been jostled enough that it clipped the door while closing, last night. That knocked things loose, popped 2 of the pins, bent the opposite track and the weight of the door was shifted to the bent track. End result... Garage Door was completely fixed and is even quieter than it was before the damage. We love that Abner fixed the issue instead of trying to sell us on something needing replaced. The cost was much less than what we expected to pay. Abner mentioned that he has worked with Billy and Jenny for 40 years and it shows that they form a More Than Amazing Team! We are glad that our neighbor gave us Advanced Door System's business card when we moved in several years ago. This is our second interaction with Advanced Door Systems, through the years and both were extremely pleasant. The staff is Friendly, Knowledgeable, Thorough and Honest! Their pricing is more than fair and this was an emergency situation where a business could have really taken advantage of us. Although we hope to to never need the business' help in the future, we hope that we can recommend other potential customers to their business. I had to come home from work and manually lift the door so my wife could get her car out. I called PDQ at 0800 the following morning. They had two technicians there by 1030. He went over my options to just replace with the cheapest springs that the builder installed . He also suggested replacing both at the same time. He also pointed out that the stainless steel rollers were misaligned and two had the bearings shot. He gave me a quote which was reasonable. The garage is our main entry/exit to our house and the door operates constantly. He showed me other options to make things last longer. Installing heavier duty springs and nylon rollers would be a major upgrade. He was not pushy or trying to up sell. He just made sense. I opted for the better parts. The install was done in a couple of hours with adjustment and inspection of a third carriage garage door done in courtesy. I highly recommend PDQ. They were on the spot, knew what they were doing and reasonable. I honestly can't hear the garage door open or close at all while inside the house.
