I mean literally no roof, flooding down the walls and no kitchen. My grandmother who is immune on promises and 80+ had to bear the last year with cold weather, covid and now no roof, dusty construction and NO kitchen for 15 months. Unfortunately i CAN NOT recommend this insurance agent. He is very nice and attentive when you are purchasing a policy. BUT IMAGINE....the rain and wind takes off your roof and floods your home. I had been a State Farm customer with home, rental and auto policies for over 20 years prior to continuing State Farm comprehensive auto and rental policies with this agent here in Folsom for 18 months. During those 20 years and my 18 months with this agent, I never had a single claim, accident, missed payment or other detrimental incident. Over the course of 18 months in California with this agent, my comprehensive auto premiums rose over 100%; I drive a 9-year old compact SUV under 12,000 miles per year locally. When inquiring as to the rationale for these increases, I would get a run-around, cost-of-doing-business explanation the few times I could even get a return call from his office. I have moved on to a different big-brand insurance carrier recently and have no issue with State Farm. However, if you're considering Dan Normoyle for your insurance needs, look elsewhere as this agent would charge you for the air you breathe if he could. read more

State Farm Insurance, in general, offers great coverage for what you need without burning a hole in your pockets. Here's our story... My significant other decided to get a sportsbike. Male, 23 years old. Those 2 things alone were the deciding factors of the cost of full coverage insurance. We shopped around and other companies were quoting as much as $5000... YEAH... 5 Thousand Dollars per year on coverage. Insane! We had 21st Century Insurance at the time; they quoted the $5000. Motorcycle coverage wasn't really offered at that time. They were just charging an insane price! Then we came across Dan Normoyle's State Farm office. It was a good hour or so drive there. More like 1.5 hours. Significant other got a great price on great coverage. He came home raving about State Farm. Who does that?! Rave about insurance?! Most dislike that they have to get insurance period. The agent he spoke with told him about other policies and provided quotes. I was shocked! They were much lower than what we were paying at the time. So, we switched. We now have 8 policies with State Farm. We will only go to Dan Normoyle's office. Theresa Bianco is the agent who assisted me with the policies. No bad experience here! We are walking advertisements for State Farm. Oh yeah... of course everyone is ridiculously friendly and they know you by name, NOT policy number! Kudos on that! read more

We have been customers of Dan's ever since we moved to California 8 years ago, but, like most of you, we didn't really have a need to use our insurance, until now! We just bought an older home and our water heater blew up so we actually had to file a claim for water damage. Well, the claims dept at State Farm said that our house was livable, albeit no hot water, so they would not cover a hotel for us. Can you imagine 3 weeks of cold showers? Well, I couldn't and neither could my kids. But what are you gonna do? Well, I happened to be explaining this to Angela at Dan's office and she said that was unacceptable. Within 15 minutes, she called me back and had us moved to a hotel! She is so incredibly helpful, I can't even tell you! Dan, you and your staff ROCK!
