And if you go looking for insurance elsewhere be careful because they operate under multiple names and it's the same crooked people with no brokers license and ridiculous broker fees. They will tell you no one will insure you except them and say they got you the best deal when they didn't to pad their pockets. Scammers.. all the way 081111 My daughter got a quote from these folks for car insurance. It went from $30 a month to $540 for a six month purchase. My daughter specifically asked him how much the broker fee. I think he changed the subject and he never answered. I asked him about how much her insurance was a month He said about fifty.. She has one point on her record. So after discussion of how she could aford this, we decided to pay the whole six months. He charged my credit card. Then he disclosed the broker fee. I was watching the baby.. needless to say.. she finished paperwork and was on our way. She went back stating she did not want to go throught with this. She signed the cancel paperwork and still would not tell her how much was refunded! This is obviously a place just trying to Get one over on people. Had he shown her the broker fee, or told ther the broker fee when asked, we would not have signed the contract. Been with Cost U Less for 5 years and that was absolutely way too long to be with them. They would constantly call me and say my insurance was cancelled, it wasn't. I asked them if I paid on the 20th of the month, for my new insurance company, would that be when my payment date is? They said yes but that was a lie because it began on the 8th... so after I spent quite a bit of money to begin my insurance, you have to pay them again! I felt that the insurance brokers did not know their job by not disclosing the correct payment date and that screwed me. I have had to change multiple insurance companies through them because their pricing would fluctuate or they would take money from my bank to renew when I was never given notice about it. And throughout the five years I've been with them, I've paid more than I would have with progressive... happy to be done with them! read more
