I went to Dan Kelly's after a Vikings game and it was packed! I came with a large group and we somehow scored a table. Shockingly we got service quickly and continued to receive great service throughout the night as the post game rush slowly died down. We all ordered drinks and water and chose to share some cheese curds. Dan Kelly's offers a warm, comforting environment from the harsh outdoors of Minnesota. In addition to this they provided us with excellent service.

It was really cute inside nice dive bar vibes. The wings were the best part for us the pizza was okay the crust reminded me of the Pillsbury crust in the can but overall I gave it a 7.5.

There's one pool table. $2 a game. Quarters only.

There's one pool table. $2 a game. Quarters only. I thought I'd share that because it was one of the things I was looking for within walking distance of my hotel. I only discovered it after stopping by for some food and drinks.

Solid dive bar. Didn't try food but pizza looked good. Came here because it was close to hotel and it was a great experience especially on a week night.

2026 Dive Bar 3 of 40…read more Just off Main Street, you will find this corner bar not far from the river. Upon entering, you will notice a small bar with an adequately stocked bar, featuring about 8 taps and a number of canned and bottled beers for your liking. There are plenty of high-top tables and booths to accommodate a decent crowd. MaGillycuddy's Bar is one of those places that instantly makes you want to settle in and stay awhile. The atmosphere strikes that perfect balance between cozy and relaxed, thanks in no small part to the awesome tin ceiling-- it kind of gives this place a vintage charm you don't see often. The crowd is just what one would expect, just regular folks enjoying a libation and watching the Wild game. And they have pulltabs!! We settled in on a high-top table and ordered beers and our lunch. The Nashville Hot Shrimp is a must-try. just the right amount of heat, and packed with flavor. The Guinness cheeseburger is an open-faced burger topped with fries, Guinness cheese sauce, and, of course, bacon. That was a bit messy, and was enjoyable, but there are some other items I will want to try before going back to that entree. Between the solid food offerings, the friendly vibe, and the cool interior, MaGillycuddy's has all the makings of a local favorite. If you're anywhere near Aonka, do yourself a favor and stop in--you won't regret it.

There is a parking ramp and street parking in the area. Both are free. They were decorating for Halloween and it gave us such a fun vibe! We were immediately welcomed in and the service was phenomenal the entire time we were there! I would go back on service alone! The upstairs area isn't overly large but they do have tables, booths and a bar to sit at. There was a sign that said "basement closed" so I assume there was more down there. There are TV's, so this would be a cool spot to grab a beer and watch the game for sure! There is also a small outdoor seating area and is next to a fountain. The food: The deep fried pickle spears were good! The batter is light and crispy! However, because these are spears, they took a long time to cool to properly eat. It comes with jalapeño ranch, which has a slight kick but nothing crazy. I recommend getting the regular ranch too! My boyfriend got the Reuben and noted it was "solid." I got the deep fried buffalo chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries! Both were excellent! The chicken was seasoned well before battered and the sweet potato fries had a sweet/lime/seasoning that was unique and tasty! This is definitely worth checking out!

Huge bar top surrounded by TVs, lots of Irish decor, and cute booths that really lean into the theme. Unfortunately, things started off a little rough. The person I met there waited over 10 minutes at the host stand before anyone acknowledged them. I totally understand hosts may be on break or helping elsewhere, but with the restaurant nearly empty it was surprising that no bartender or server stepped in. Once we were seated, it also took a while before our server came by. That said, our server ended up being super friendly and attentive the rest of the visit. We ordered an Irish lemonade, a cold beer, and the Gaelic Whiskey Bites. They were exactly what you'd expect with an extra crunchy exterior, but the sauce was actually really good! Honestly made me wish I had tried a burger with that sauce instead, but we weren't hungry enough for more food. Overall, it's a decent neighborhood Irish bar, but nothing really stood out to me. I'd probably come back for the patio or on St. Patrick's Day!

This place is very generous with the amount of meat that comes with the order which is the biggest I've ever seen for its price. The vegetables are super good. It was a mix of mushrooms and carrots in a thick brown gravy. The mashed potatoes were fine. Next time I would ask for extra mashed potatoes. I love how it is garnished with the skinny fried onions. I would definitely come back here and try their other foods, especially their chicken pot pie.

The space itself is beautiful with a really cozy ambiance, and the patio is a great option when the weather is nice. The drinks are absolutely the star of the show. You can tell there is so much intention behind both the flavors and the presentation. The cocktail menu is super creative, and the Old Fashioned menu alone is phenomenal with so many unique options. The Beorn Old Fashioned was my favorite. We also tried the Payanello (pineapple, lime, ginger, pickled jalapeño) and it was incredible. Food was fantastic as well. The brussels sprouts were so good and a must order. Service was amazing. Our server was so kind, helpful, and gave great recommendations, which made the whole experience even better. It is on the pricier side, especially for drinks, but honestly worth it for the quality and experience. Reservations are easy to make and I would definitely recommend booking ahead. Parking was manageable when we went, but I could see it getting tricky during busier times. Overall, such a beautiful, thoughtfully done space with incredible drinks, great food, and top tier service. A perfect spot for a night out or just grabbing a cocktail and soaking in the vibe.

Since I don't drink alcohol, I opted for one of their zero-proof cocktails, the St. Agrestis Phony Negroni. It had a subtle hint of pineapple, but the drink itself was a bit too strong for my taste. We also tried their new Irish Spice Bag, but unfortunately it wasn't a favorite. The dish was a little bland, and the curry sauce could have used more seasoning. Overall, this place just wasn't the right fit for my personal tastes, but I can definitely see it appealing to those who appreciate sophisticated cocktails and an upscale, stylish atmosphere.

The atmosphere was definitely the highlight, especially sitting out on the patio after the game with a couple of beers. The food was a little disappointing. This review is specific to the Mystic Brunch ticketed event that I attended April 25…read more We arrived right around 11:01, greeted, and a table was pulled together for us. We were told that there were several ~influences attending as well. Our tickets were $40/person, including a welcome drink, a meal, and interactions with 4 mystics. The hostess and other employees were quite friendly to us. There was some confusion and delay in getting our bottomless mimosas, but after that they kept coming. There was further confusion about the food, which we had preselected upon registration (breakfast burrito) which was not actually available day of, but we were flexible. Overall, I was not impressed by my food or beverages. The corned beef hash was half burned, no exaggeration, and left me unsatisfied. My one companion said the French toast was undercooked, and my others' breakfast sandwich dry and potatoes served without ketchup. We were seated in the back "half" of the space and it was kind of difficult to see/hear the announcements at the beginning. The gentleman with the Runes locked eyes with us near the beginning and came to talk to us. It was fun and we enjoyed our readings. After about an hour, the folks next to us became upset because none of the mystics stopped at their table. It became clear there was no plan for ensuring each group received some attention - it was all vibes and eye contact. We were excited for a tarot reading, and disappointed instead to receive an angel card reading. The reader was really sweet though, so it was a fun chat. A palm reader then performed a reading on my friend, and we followed along on our own. Despite being super excited, we left a bit bummed out, sober, and hungry. Overall, the people working were lovely but more planning and effort is necessary to make it run smoothly. Expectation setting and transparency with the guests should also be considered. The food and mimosas were not great, and more attention should be paid to that aspect.
