Buffalo chicken pizza (couldn't wait lol) Jamaican jerk wings
Kayla P.

It was really cute inside nice dive bar vibes. The wings were the best part for us the pizza was okay the crust reminded me of the Pillsbury crust in the can but overall I gave it a 7.5.

I went to Dan Kelly's after a Vikings game and it was packed! I came with a large group and we somehow scored a table. Shockingly we got service quickly and continued to receive great service throughout the night as the post game rush slowly died down. We all ordered drinks and water and chose to share some cheese curds. Dan Kelly's offers a warm, comforting environment from the harsh outdoors of Minnesota. In addition to this they provided us with excellent service.

Solid dive bar. Didn't try food but pizza looked good. Came here because it was close to hotel and it was a great experience especially on a week night.

There's one pool table. $2 a game. Quarters only.

They might take credit cards now MAYBE I'm not sure but if they do they might charge you a kajillion dollars for the fees lol. Just pay in cash. Bring lots of cash cuz you're gonna want to try the double cheeseburger AND the famous Juicy Lucy. I don't ever get the juicy Lucy because it comes out to piping hot and I don't wanna wait 10 minutes to eat my food lol. Their french fries are just like McDonald's french fries but it taste a lot more fresh. It is so good. You're gonna want to get a full basket. By the time we ordered and looked up, the place was almost full. Waiting for our burgers (took some time since there was only 1 chef), there was a line! We got lucky to be the first batch since it took quite some time for food to come out. We got the jucy Lucy (about $11) and shared half order of fries, which is plenty enough for 2. I also got their hazy IPA. The beer tasted so good with the burger. The burger bun was kinda of dry, and the sides of the meat were dry and burnt. Luckily the cheese oozing out helped with the dryness. I think they also should have added American cheese on the outside of the burger, it would give it that moisture. But once you get to that cheese, it's quite good. Fries were nice and crunchy. Something to try, especially coming from the west coast and this really isn't a thing. CASH only!

When I go to new cities, I typically seek out food that is specific to the region and thus a little more interesting to me. You can get a burger anywhere, and a cheese filled patty, aka a "Juicy Lucy", didn't sound like something I needed to try. But my husband kept talking about it and really seemed bent on having one so we decided to come here to try it out. We showed up during their happy hour, from 4-5pm, and they had $5 draft beers. Score! It's a cute place with ample seating, nice natural light from the large windows, and a relaxed atmosphere. I ordered the Juicy Lucy, a burger patty stuffed with cheese and topped with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, and pub sauce. I chose the Impossible patty version, but you can also get it with their house made black bean burger. Hubby chose the Garlic Girl, a black bean cheeseburger topped with bacon (also made in-house), berbere aioli, lettuce, and pickled onion. Each burger came with fries. Both burgers were spectacular and delicious in their own way. The bacon on hubby's burger was incredible, and his burger was rich and satisfying. By my Juicy Lucy, oh my... Every bite was a flavor explosion and intensely delicious without being a gut bomb shockingly. To top it off, the fries were super crispy and just perfect. WOW is all I can say. Note that while the prices may seem a little higher than what you might expect, Francis Burger is a no tipping establishment, as stated on their menu. For the quality of the food and the great service, it was well worth the price! I'll be back if I'm ever in this area again.f

Have always had a great experience.

I wasn't overly impressed but it was enjoyable and I appreciated what appeared to be an intentionally crafted meal. I didn't try the fries or soft serve so that's next time! I appreciated the salad on the menu and had that too! SERVICE: cool concept-- order at counter, then you get seated. It was efficient but far better than just a "fast food pickup" or traditional counter service restaurant. I also have to say-- efficiency was great. The line was long but was helped quick! PARKING: always hard in Linden Hill. Street parking in neighborhood nearby is the best. Plan for a 5 min walk. AMBIANCE: far better than a typical counter service restaurant but not quite a dine in restaurant feel. Still, I'd bring friends even if I wanted a dine in restaurant because they've done a good job at this concept.

Food 5/5: We are big BBQ fans, and I believe this is the best BBQ in the twin cities. We had the chips and queso, St. Louis style ribs, pork belly, mac and cheese, dilly beans, beans, apple pizza, peanut butter pie, and both old fashions. The chips are homemade and so good! Lightly salted and the perfect amount. Of crunchy. The ribs and pork belly were warm, tender, and spiced perfectly. Everything we had was well spiced, and overall high quality with exception to the Mac and cheese, not much flavor but would be perfect for a kids meal but didn't match their overall level of the other food. Service 5/5: they use a QR code ordering system. Everything we ordered came within 10 -20 minutes of ordering. Silverware and all other essentials are located at your table, but there were people around to ask if you needed anything. Ambiance 4/5: when this space is full it is very loud. If there is a band playing you won't be able to hear table conversation. Something else to note, you may share a table with another group, so if that's a deal breaker to you know that is their style. They have a kid space which was packed, but overall an amazing thing to offer. Overall if you're ok with a loud and crowded space, this place is great. Overall we loved this new location. The food was great, the service was fast, and the ambiance was inviting but loud.

I tried a local beer and then decided on a good old fashioned burger, but was able to subtitute my fries with mashed potatoes. Once the food was ordered it came out fairly quickly. Burger was awesome. I just didn't see condiments on the table, but I'm rather a plain jane for food, unless I had ordered the fries. I was wavering on dessert but then I saw the giant peanut butter cup filled with marshmallow fluff, so it was on. I was planning to come back to try the ricotta pancakes and bring back some peanut butter cups for my staff, but time got away from me.
