I hired this company for multiple large home improvement projects: a new roof, all new windows, new…read morelighting and to construct an ADU for us. None of the projects went well: they measured and ordered windows wrong and then yelled at me like it was my fault. They ordered the wrong roofing tiles and failed to review to work done at all. When we had problems from them not hooking the HVAX back correctly he was a nightmare to deal with. The owner admitted he knew nothing about roofs and couldn't look to see the problems reported to us by our HVAC person. He promised to pay the HVAC bill and when his roofer came out- he admitted the work wasn't done correctly and sent his own HVAC person out to properly connect everything. None of this would be so bad if the owner wasn't so nasty and defensive every time I talk to him or message him. He still, five months later has not paid our HVAC guy, as promised, did not return any of my phone calls or messages and was full of denial for why he should even pay the bill when questioned by my husband today. He tried to argue that since the roof didn't actually leak from the HVAC, not being connected properly that he shouldn't even have to pay for HIS person coming up to repair the roof that wasn't finished correctly. He has again, for the third or fourth time agreed to pay the bill from our HVAC guy who brought to our attention all of the problems left by his roofer that he and his roofer admitted we're wrong !! I really didn't wanna leave bad feedback for this company, but his behavior and his inability to pay his bills that could leave us with a contractors lien against the house is totally unacceptable . The lighting project did not go well either and on every project we had no call no-show and plenty of attitude whenever we questioned why. they promised repeatedly to stand by their work and included a one year warranty, but I don't feel that we should have to force them to keep to their own agreements and all of the unprofessional behavior, especially the yelling at me is also not acceptable. I would never hire this company again and frankly fear that I will end up having to sue them over other problems with work that they've done since he doesn't like to honor his word . If I discover he does actually pay our HVAC guy the $150 service bill then I will update my review. I feel my score was overly generous. they canceled out of building the ADU- the biggest and most project at all after e a month: we were told 6 weeks to move in and 4 weeks later he called saying that their quote (which was $10k higher than our next quote) didn't have any money for electric connection. Even worse was that on every project it seems they had no idea what they were doing. Case in point on the ADU they wanted me to contact PG&E and find out if they could connect to our electrical box or whether they needed an on street connection? They also asked me, remind you after signing contract to do the project, did I expect them to figure out if it was even possible to do the project? He yelled all of these things at me while he was backing out of the project and then tried to blame it on me being difficult to please at the end he refunded me my deposit and I hired the other contractor who did indeed finish the project for $10,000 less than his quote.
