They welded five trellises, removed palm trees and cleared out debris, completely transforming the space. Juan and his team went above and beyond with the materials he used, the design thinking he contributed in, and the extra effort he put in throughout the entire project. Juan understands the bigger picture of what it takes to make a backyard install work well long term. He paid attention to the full system including trenching, irrigation layout, gas line installation for the fire pit, plant placement, lighting, and more, making sure everything worked together piece by piece. What stood out most, and why we ultimately chose him, was how genuine he was about caring for our yard plans after talking with several other contractors around the valley and East Bay. I work as a creative lead and tend to be very particular about design and visual decisions, so I was honestly surprised how little feedback I had during the process. Juan's instincts and design sense were strong enough that I ended up trusting him to run with many of the decisions. Juan is extremely hands-on and proactive, and you can tell he takes real pride in his work. Throughout the project he would point out adjustments that would make the yard function better and age well as the plants grow in. We put out a request for several companies to come out for a total overhaul of our front/side yards. This all included drip systems installed, removal of the "dry jungle" that took over our front & side yard, planting of multiple fruit trees/plants as well as rock being delivered/installed. It was a huge deal to be quite honest but Chance, Tera & their team were up for the challenge. The crew was hard working, dedicated to get the project completed in a timely manner & customer service was second to none. The rock was bigger than I had imagined but I'm blaming the hubby for that one since he communicated the size incorrectly. We also had an issue with the drip system about a couple of weeks later but one phone call & they were back out to fix it immediately. Not only did we request a custom kitchen design based on our architect and designers designs, we also needed custom cabinetry in our bathroom as well. We came across Belco Cabinets via our general contractor and boy are we glad we did. From the very first meeting we were treated with professionalism and respect. We know that we were not their biggest customer, nor did we spend more money than any other customer but they made us feel like we did. This is not a online clearinghouse, nor mass produced Chinese cabinetry. This is precise design and every time I called with a question about design, measurements, hardware, symmetry, paint colors, paint sheen, cabinet lighting, sliding drawers, specially cabinet design, heck even things in the kitchen that didn't have anything to do with cabinets but the kitchen in general; they answered the phone and greeted me by name.
