We came here based in a good review and close proximity to our lodging and we loved our meal. We were promptly seated in a cozy spot in the dining room filled with interesting decor of items from Norway and a few from the U.S. Our waiter spoke excellent English and helped us with the menu.
I ordered the fish casserole the fish of the day. Very tasty and warm on a cold rainy evening. Husband ordered the house specialty, Hj I raspeballer, a lamb based dish with cauliflower, a potato dumplings. The meat was tender and delicious. We ended with Skokoladefondant, a wonderful chocolate cake that oozed warm chocolate filling, served with vanilla ice cream.
We chatted with the owner, Anita, who was very friendly and happy we were fed well.
