Unfortunately they will most likely be the last guns I purchase here. Yesterday I call about a gun I wanted. Pretty standard stuff. Well a man named Tom answered the phone and I cannot emphasize enough just how disgustingly rude this name was. I genuinely thought there might have been something wrong with him due to how rude he was. It would take me 2 paragraphs to explain every thing he said. So I said ok let me not act up or anything so I ended to phone call on good terms and due to how nice James had been I decided to remain a customer. Well when I walked in the door tom was there to scream in my face that the gun was gone because I didn't come in last night and he said it as though I was the stupidest man on the planet for not coming in. Listen I buy a gun every 5-10 days, and since James has been so nice I decided I'll do most of my gun shopping here which I had been doing. I sadly will never be shopping here again. This isn't some small oh an employee had an attitude no this was rudeness on another level of nasty that I've never experienced. I hope James gets all the praise in the world I genuinely hope he can go work elsewhere so I can still do business with him. But Tom, you sir are a horrible person. I've seen the way you talk to the other staff members and the way you talked to me. You're awful and I hope management can see that and you get removed so I can go back to my favorite pawnshop/gun-store. HOWEVER, there is a gem of an employee at this Super Pawn in Henderson. Mark Jones is a Shop Manager Trainee who I had the pleasure of dealing with on 4/30/16. Not only did he process me quickly, it's the way in which he asks his questions and pauses to hear your entire answer that made this professional, but not cold. He actually listened to me, and as a result, was able to make suggestions to me that were very helpful. Usually they are too busy Mark was awesome.

He took the time to thoroughly explain gold pricing, answered all of our questions, and made us feel comfortable, especially since it was our first time ever stepping into a pawn shop. He was welcoming, patient, and transparent, which made a strong impression on us. In fact, based on that experience, he encouraged us to come back and bring in additional items. Because of that, I brought my mother in on our next visit to browse handbags and potentially sell some of her gold jewelry. Unfortunately, this experience was the complete opposite. The employee assisting us was dismissive and uninviting from the start. When we asked about an older ring, the offer felt extremely low with "gold is down" explanation okay but she hadn't even made an offer weighed it nothing that Rueben did, and there was no effort to engage or provide the level of service we previously received. It was disappointing, especially after being encouraged to return and having such a positive first impression. Consistency in customer service makes a big difference, and we hope future visits better reflect the professionalism and hospitality we initially experienced. If we ever go back it'd be just to interact with Rueben and this review has zero reflection on him just my experience with the young lady today. Didn't end up selling anything or buying anything I'll just keep it for another 10 years when "gold is high".

Took some of the loose objects of value, mainly designer purses, in just to feel them out and knew immediately it was the wrong choice. I had unused Coach and Michael Kors bags, one with original tags, all priced over $100 online. I was given the lowball offer of $35 for everything and told they can be found at Goodwill...I used to work at Goodwill. No they cant. Some other Big Boy behind the counter came over looking thru my stuff like there was a cookie that needed priced , without asking, no input or expertise either. With that said I went to the EZ Pawn around the corner. Was actually greeted and welcomed by a nice, older lady who was more than excited to actually look at the purses. She seemed to know far more about purses. Especially the Kors bags. I only look for 25% of worth on my storage units I pawn, I had already priced the bags, and she nailed my number perfectly. They actually had more of a pawn shop feel. Not a shoe store. I discussed what I do, that I used to be a carpenter, and always have tools to offload.
