They have an extensive amount of firearms and even a CANON if you're looking to buy one...Musical instruments, samurai swords, jewelry, and much, much more! Among the cool things I saw were a Frida Kahlo inspired Dia De Los Muertes skull, the first issue of Sports Illustrated, and a Michael Jordan rookie card that is worth thousands! The people that work here are not the most courteous(no hello, or any sort of acknowledgement, but that's cool. confession: i have ever only heard of the pawn stars show but never actually watched it…read more.. but let me tell you, the owners have SUCH a huge following that many of the visitors are there for the meet and greet instead of buy/sell/trade, which i thought was really cool and exciting! the staff at gold & silver pan shop are SO approachable and nice. we had casually dropped by to sell and the process went extremely smooth! and their buying process is very streamlined and fair. we stuck around after selling to check out the items in the stores and there are a lot of beautiful vintage rolex pieces along with a lot of picasso lithographs that i would love to own one day! coda helped answered a lot of our questions and was extremely knowledgeable and personable. there's an attached parking lot to the shop and it was easy to find a parking spot. there's also plenty of security on-site so you can feel at ease and safe. we're definitely making gold & silver pawn shop our vegas destination every visit now!

The shop is actually pretty small as far as the sales floor space but their are lot of jewelry items but not many other items are avaliable. I came into this location about three weeks ago and had a good experience with Jessica. We looked…read moreat some jewelry and said we'd come back another day. She was super helpful, friendly, and knew her stuff. So we came back on May 12th around 1:30 PM ready to buy, and I really wish we had just turned around when we didn't see her. No one greeted us.....not one employee. The only person who even said anything was the security guard, and funny enough, he actually remembered us from our last visit he ever said "hey welcome back" when he saw us. We started walking around, and a few employees were just chatting with each other. They saw us, definitely made eye contact, but no one came over or said anything. After about 5-10 minutes of us looking around and being ignored, an older white guy (semi-tall, gray hair, black frame glasses) was standing nearby. He didn't greet us either, but he had no problem going straight to two women who walked in after us and offered them something (which they ended up not even taking). Still, he didn't say a word to us. At that point, it started to feel personal, i felt we were being judged or profiled. I don't know if it was race or just assumptions based on how we looked, but it didn't sit right. We ended up sitting down and I told my boyfriend, "If no one says anything to us in 2 minutes, we're leaving." Finally, a taller Hispanic guy with a bald head and glasses came over. He had been chatting with someone when we first walked in, so it's not like he didn't see us. When I said, "We're being ignored by everyone," he apologized and started helping us. He showed us two rings, and we asked him to put in an offer on one. He said he'd go check with "him"..... I assume a manager or the owner. He came back like two minutes later with an offer that honestly felt like a joke. No effort to talk to us, no questions about what we were looking for, just flat energy all around. I've been to other Max Pawn locations, and the experience was totally different, way more welcoming and helpful. This location didn't feel that way at all. It felt like we were bothering them just by being there. I really hope whoever runs this store checks the footage from that day and see how we were completely ignored. These employees are being paid to sell, and it didn't feel like they cared to do that. Definitely not planning to come back to this location.

He took the time to thoroughly explain gold pricing, answered all of our questions, and made us feel comfortable, especially since it was our first time ever stepping into a pawn shop. He was welcoming, patient, and transparent, which made a strong impression on us. In fact, based on that experience, he encouraged us to come back and bring in additional items. Because of that, I brought my mother in on our next visit to browse handbags and potentially sell some of her gold jewelry. Unfortunately, this experience was the complete opposite. The employee assisting us was dismissive and uninviting from the start. When we asked about an older ring, the offer felt extremely low with "gold is down" explanation okay but she hadn't even made an offer weighed it nothing that Rueben did, and there was no effort to engage or provide the level of service we previously received. It was disappointing, especially after being encouraged to return and having such a positive first impression. Consistency in customer service makes a big difference, and we hope future visits better reflect the professionalism and hospitality we initially experienced. If we ever go back it'd be just to interact with Rueben and this review has zero reflection on him just my experience with the young lady today. Didn't end up selling anything or buying anything I'll just keep it for another 10 years when "gold is high".

Took some of the loose objects of value, mainly designer purses, in just to feel them out and knew immediately it was the wrong choice. I had unused Coach and Michael Kors bags, one with original tags, all priced over $100 online. I was given the lowball offer of $35 for everything and told they can be found at Goodwill...I used to work at Goodwill. No they cant. Some other Big Boy behind the counter came over looking thru my stuff like there was a cookie that needed priced , without asking, no input or expertise either. With that said I went to the EZ Pawn around the corner. Was actually greeted and welcomed by a nice, older lady who was more than excited to actually look at the purses. She seemed to know far more about purses. Especially the Kors bags. I only look for 25% of worth on my storage units I pawn, I had already priced the bags, and she nailed my number perfectly. They actually had more of a pawn shop feel. Not a shoe store. I discussed what I do, that I used to be a carpenter, and always have tools to offload. Their manager over heard and we started talking. just very nice people. So i'll be going back by today to offload the rest of my storage unit and tools.
