After dealing with another place in Apex years ago and the horrible experience we had buying through them, we LOVED dealing with the folks at the Selma Campers Inn! Can't thank Payton enough and James was great as well in assisting with financing and general questions! Ask for Payton if you want a solid experience!!!!

Jim kept in contact via text, just to see if there was anything he could help us in our search. After a few months, Jim contacted me and i had a list of things we wanted in our new camper, and Jim responded with 3 units that fit the bill. Today we visited the dealer again and Jim showed us each unit and answered any questions we had, even made a couple of phone calls to make sure he was giving us the correct information. He allowed us time to look at the campers several times, from one to another, patiently waiting on us to make a decision. The way Jim treated us, we knew that he was the right salesperson and this was the right company. We purchased our new camper from Jim. It was pleasurable experience. Thank you Jim for all the time and knowledge that you shared. Jim did and outstanding job, I would recommend him to anyone who is interesting at looking and learning about campers.

I…read morecontacted Shaw RV for an appointment to inspect my class B Winnebago Rialta before completing the motorhome sale. I called Shaw RV on March 20, 2024, to schedule an appointment to have them check out the RV. They let me know they were busy that week, and Tuesday, March 26, 2024, would be the first available appointment they would have to do their review. I had an appointment to bring the RV to be serviced on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at 8:00 am. Nobody was there until 8:15 am, when Shane arrived that only then that they would have the RV inspected no later than Friday, March 29. That was not conveyed when I set up the appointment, and I was under the understanding it would be checked out while I waited, which was my mistake for thinking it could be done while I waited. Shane took all my information again, and I told him I would return before 5 pm to leave the RV, and he would do his best to get everything done before Friday or, at the latest, by Friday. After calling on Thursday, March 28, to check the progress, I had to leave a message for someone to call me back on their voicemail. I was waiting for someone to return my call. I called again on Friday, March 30, left a message, and again, I was waiting for a return call. I called again on Monday, April 1, and spoke with Paul. He gave me a rundown of how long the diagnostics for each item would take, varying from 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the issue. I asked what this would cost, but I received no answer other than that they would go over everything with me once everything was inspected. Since I had yet to hear back from anyone by 3:07 pm on Tuesday, April 2, I left another voicemail message to call me with an update. Again, no one returned my call by noon on Wednesday, April 3, so I drove to the Service Department and met a gentleman named Alan, who worked part-time there. He was unaware of the status but did find the paperwork on what was being done, although he could not update me on when all inspections would be completed or pricing; other than that, some parts needed to be ordered. Alan said he would call me by the end of the day on Wednesday, April 3, to give me an update. Since I have not received a call, I called at 4:38 pm on Wednesday since the shop closes at 5 pm in hopes of getting an update. Again, no one answered my call, and I had to leave another message for someone to call me back. I'll add updates, but I am very frustrated at this point. My potential buyer has been patient, but I must find out how long that will last. I intend to sell this RV with any known repairs that may be needed before completing the sale so I can convey the condition and perform repairs or provide credit to let the new owners complete any work.

The finance officer was rude and disrespectful he talked down to my husband and I like we could not afford the camper. After the General Manager apologized and worked with us we purchased a brand new 2024 fifth wheel camper. When we got it home and hooked it up at our job sight we quickly realized that the fridge was not working. They sent out technicians 3 times to our location, but never could fix the problem. Side, note I purchased all the extra warranties. I asked why can't they just replace it, they gave me a thousand run around excuses. Fast forward to June, the fridge still not working and we want to take it to the beach, they tell us we have to bring it in and they will contact the warranty company to replace the fridge. I dropped it off on a Tues. I call on Friday and they tell me my slide isn't working, which we have had no problems with. They said they have to call the warranty company get it approved to order parts. 2 weeks later my husband goes up there, not happy, wants a replacement fridge and the camper we are taking it somewhere else. Then by some miracle they tell my husband, the slide is working again and they have a fridge on the floor that can be put in our camper, my husband sat there for 3.5 hours. So, they are a bunch of liars or warranty schemers, who didn't even look at our camper till we showed up in person or they were going to pocket the warranty money to fix something that wasn't even broken. For a company that prides themself on being so patriotic, they should be ashamed.Let, me start by saying never purchase a camper from Camping World, in Greenville, NC.
