Auburn Hospital recommended Dr. Mostone and I am so happy I did make an appointment with him. From the very first visit he couldn't have been nicer, very gentle, very professional and caring. This was my second visit and each time I like him even more. He takes time to listen to your concerns, asks if I have any other problems, and when I told him of my many recurring foot/leg ulcers he took pictures of my most recent wound and confirmed that the wound doctor I am seeing is a good doctor and calmed my fears that the procedure he recommended to help the wound heal was a good one. After 30 minutes of treating me, He talked about how the toe became possibly infected and all the medical science behind what causes all the problems with my toe, even recommending to get rid of any cheap leather shoes I have and spend money on good quality shoes that will allow my foot to breathe, thus preventing issues in the future again. In regards to pain medicine, I'm happy he said I didn't need any and I could take aspirin or ibuprofen if I really needed to....that's a good sign in my opinion of a good, caring doctor. My husband and I walked in at 4:31 and the office staff informed us Dr. Lee had already left the building because people are supposed to get to appointments 15 minutes early. I asked when I could be seen again and they offered me an appointment a week away. When I explained I would be starting chemo the day before and that might not work, the receptionist said, "I'm confused, do you want an appointment here or not?" I have never in my life seen a doctor leave before the time an appointment started, and without even calling to say she was planning to leave if we did not arrive soon. And then to be brushed off by the staff so rudely was icing on the cake. Never again for me.

Diane was our receptionist both times. She is incredibly sweet and probably the nicest receptionist I have ever dealt with in my life. I'm 45. And honestly, I have pretty high standards, finding myself frequently mentioning that so-and-so should never deal with the public or choose customer service as a profession We received excellent care in an extremely warm and inviting atmosphere. Booking the appointment on the phone was easy and the receptionist was empathetic, kind, and extremely accommodating for a semi emergency. Basically, I would look **forward** to a holiday dinner if I had Dr. Murano and Diane there. If you are not familiar with the area... You cannot really head left out of the parking lot to leave but we found a different way around. Not an issue for this second appointment at 6:20 AM... Thank you so much for having a before school appointment! But it was for an appointment during rush hour, the previous Time. I really hate that intersection. I never thought I would say it, but I'm actually going to miss our Pediatric Podiatrist! Five stars in every single way.
