I reached out to him over concerns with moisture buildup in the closed off cavity, and he knew exactly what to do with adding an external vent and capping the chimney. On inspection, he also noted that our 50 year old grout was starting to show its age, so he recommended regrouting the chimney to prevent cracks forming over time, but he wasn't pushy about the additional work. We had him do it, and he and his crew were able to work on it on the schedule we needed for a reasonable price. Will definitely hire him again anytime I need masonry services!

He gave me an incredibly fair proposal with an expedited timeline. I will absolutely be reaching out to him in the future to get some work done. Thanks Manuel!

From day one, they have made us feel heard, supported, and genuinely cared for. Their communication is second to none--they respond almost immediately, set up a family group chat to keep everyone informed, and are always available to answer questions. The renderings Gabriel creates are absolutely stunning, incredibly lifelike, and they offer unlimited revisions until everything is exactly right. The quality of their planning and attention to detail is exceptional. Tony immediately scheduled a meeting with the city inspector to build a relationship and ensure every aspect of the project is done correctly and up to code from the very beginning, which gave us tremendous confidence. The job site has been immaculate, the professionalism has been outstanding, and it's obvious this family-owned business truly takes pride in their work and their clients. We are still early in the project, but based on our experience so far, they have exceeded every expectation. A true 10 out of 10 experience, and we would highly recommend them. Rivers Landscape is the best landscape and general contractor I have encountered in over 40 years…read more I interviewed 8 contractors and chose Rivers to do a major project at my home. Thank you to Cesar, Gus, Tony, Carlos, Gabriel, and all of the highly skilled workers who made my dream patio come true. One year ago, a terrible storm destroyed my pergola, kitchen counter, and Grill appliances. The Rivers team exceeded all of my expectations and created a masterpiece. They took care of the concept, all design details, the permit process, the coordination of suppliers and equipment, new utilities, and the installation. The work included installing a 30' X 30' Pergola, upgrading the outdoor wall lighting, creating a rose garden, new sod on the lawn, restoring the irrigation system, restoring the landscape lighting, and of course creating a new chef's kitchen. Their design recommendations were always on target and their estimated 6-week schedule from demolition to final clean up was accurate to the day. Everything they did was professional and high quality. We will enjoy our patio and kitchen for years to come and we highly endorse and recommend Rivers Landscape and Construction for any General Contracting. Juan R.

I am posting this update as a severe safety warning to anyone considering Installing Direct. Since…read moremy initial review, a catastrophic and life-threatening incident has occurred. The fire pit installed by this company exploded into my girlfriend's face. We had an independent professional company come out to inspect the unit and the gas line. Their findings were shocking: the gas connection was completely loose. This negligence allowed gas to build up inside the fire pit structure, which caused it to explode upon ignition. Because of the physical injuries sustained and the absolute gross negligence regarding a gas installation, we are now taking this company to litigation. If you value the safety of your home and your family, stay far away from this business. A "loose connection" on a gas line is not just a mistake--it is a deadly hazard. We are currently in the process of legal action to hold them accountable for the damage and trauma they have caused. Zero stars. Avoid at all costs.

I wish I could give a better review, since I really like Oswaldo - nice guy, easy to talk to…read more Unfortunately, the quality of work they did for us was not that great. We hired Minez Concrete to pour a brand new, 200ft long driveway with curbs - one of the final stages of a lengthy and painful custom home build process. I paid extra for a sand finish. Not too happy with the way it turned out . The slab is uneven and lumpy in a few areas, with some brush marks visible, and already cracked in a couple of spots. They also failed to properly mask our garage door before the pour and ruined the bottom two panels with concrete splatter, which had to be replaced (they did cover some of the replacement cost). After the slab fully cured, I asked Oswaldo to come back and pressure wash the driveway a few times, but he never showed up to finish the job properly, which was disappointing. Their pricing is reasonable, but three stars is about right, considering the quality.

The finished product is genuinely a 10/10, the design, layout, attention to detail, and overall quality of the work exceeded our expectations. What impressed us just as much as the final result was the entire experience getting there. Ronnie met with me numerous times to walk through details, answer questions, make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it, and accommodate plenty of little changes along the way without ever making it feel like a burden. His communication and flexibility were incredible. His crew was equally impressive, professional, respectful, hardworking, and clearly takes a ton of pride in what they do. They were even able to start earlier than originally planned and finished ahead of schedule, which was a huge help for us during an already hectic home build. Ronnie also went above and beyond in ways he absolutely did not have to, including a very thoughtful gift for my wife and me at the end of the project. That kind of personal touch says a lot about the way he runs his business and treats his customers. We've worked with a lot of different contractors throughout our build, and Ronnie and his team truly stand out. The craftsmanship is outstanding, the service was exceptional, and the entire process could not have gone better. I would recommend them without hesitation to anyone considering pavers or a driveway project. Thank you Ronnie and the entire crew, you guys absolutely crushed it!

Noe Pablo was the most thorough in messaging through the Yelp app, so my husband and I chose him. I had 2 medium-sized fruit trees I needed to transfer from my parent's home in Southeast San Diego to mine in North County. I took pictures and he gave us a very reasonable price. We also decided to also add another service to take out our palm tree. There were a couple of mishaps such as: The day he was scheduled to take out the palm tree, he was a no-show and my husband had to call him an hour after he was supposed to arrive. Then, the day after that incident, was the fruit tree transfer. He and his team forgot to bring their dolly.
