It was exactly what I wanted, and as a service to the community, they're kindly offering their classes free twice a week on Zoom, during this time. Isha 'Boomerang' and 'Go Getta' teach two hour classes with beginners dances first, then more advanced dances in the second half. They're patient and good instructors, it's super fun and it's really good exercise. After the class, they send out an email with links to YouTube videos of the classes you learned, so you can practice at home. I just love it. I hope they continue to offer online classes once we're past this thing.

We were recommended Daniel and everlasting dance studio through a friend at work who goes to the…read morestudio and takes regular lessons. We signed up for the eight-lesson private package, which was worth every penny. Neither my wife nor I are naturally skilled ballroom dancers, but Daniel was incredibly patient with us and helped us learn each and every step. He was also super funny and fun to work with. Needless to say, we absolutely nailed our first dance, which was a medley of two songs that he helped put together in a custom package. It was so satisfying after the two months of lessons. We cannot thank Daniel and his wife enough, and we are grateful for their skills And ability to teach us how to dance. Even after our first dance, we have used the lessons we have learned at another wedding. We have confidence on the dance floor thanks to everlasting dance studio.

He figured out pretty quickly that we were not professional dancers, and we felt so comfortable signing up to give Everlasting Choreography a shot. He made it so easy with reasonable payment terms and even gave us the consultation which was near an hour for free. This was huge for us, and showed us we were valued. We danced to Sunday Kind of Love by Etta James. Which we thought we'd come up with something "easy" for. We ended up booking extra sessions! Daniel let us stay late all the time and get in extra practice in the studio. He cared so much that we did well, all while being gentle enough to tell us we weren't "bad dancers". Even though we spent more than we anticipated, which was our choice, we had so much fun doing it. The only reason we spent more was because we wanted extra time, not because we were "sold" or sandbagged so we had to. Daniel told us to take less actually, and we said we just wanted him to help us make it really sharp. What a ton of fun, and I think we may come back soon for some salsa or other classes they offer. You couldn't put your first dance or mother son dance in better hands. We ended up doing both through Daniel and he came up with moves so quickly for both dances. It's crazy how fluid and fun our dances were. Daniel, you're the man, and we'll see you soon!

Isis Star Dance Studio is one of the biggest belly dance studios in the area, if not one of the…read morebigger studios in the US. The largest attend classes at this studio are Isis' cabaret style belly dance classes. They also offer Hula, Doubeck drum classes, children classes, usually one-two different cardio/dance related classes, and they will usually have a tribal belly dance class as well depending on demand for it at the time. As well they have various performance troops from their Wings of Isis, Isis' Professional Performing Company , The Drums of Isis, etc. Isis also has in studio workshops but they also host usually in August every year a huge belly dance weekend of workshop & performances called Yaa Halla, Y'all. This usually has workshops by big name dancers & drummers in the industry, as well as performances by those giving workshops, up and comers, as well as booths to buy costumes, drums, etc. It has been a while from the time that I've taken classes there so I can't really speak to classes currently. Which is why I can't allow myself to do more than 3 stars because I can't speak to current classes being offered. Yet many of my friends that I made when I was taking classes at Isis ... some that started before, at the same time, or after ... are still there and have or working their way in to the professional performance troops. They try to be as family friendly as possible. There are many mother daughter, sisters, husband and wives, that are all involved in the studio in one way shape or fashion. Go check them out, maybe attend a Hafla (best way to describe it is almost a recital mixed in with party) See about checking out a beginners class.
